OOC: If he's a newer one, I probably didn't have time to get him down or something...I don't remember off the top of my head... But there are guys like Sanderson that you haven't used in forever...
OOC: And you made such a big deal out of him dying too... You'll see... I did it thoughtlessly, and I might change the name to something less...copyish... Anyway, yeah, I also keep track of your characters, Nulix, and everyone else's, though not as well... Ho hum...
OOC: Well, let's see: My characters are... Xardius with connections to Teresa, Tifanitan, and Marlene, whom you've all met, plus four more you haven't met that will be important Tera Roth, Tyre, Highwind, Patrick, Hegemoth, Wirdikov, Jamerin Vadoozine (who was technically Nulix's but I stole 'im, lol, XD), Magna (the only girl, yikes!), and Ziya make up the EK... Josh Tirode and Maggie Verox are in the CG head of government... The Brotherhood so far includes Janet aka Falcon, Scourge aka Rune, Zaxor, Trent, Azull, Wraith, Enigma, Eclipse, Ella, Maria, Zane (who is not a copy of Xane's name; he's from one of my spin-off stories from a long, long time ago), Jack, Vera, Kardas, and Sorion... Plus there's Sage and Shiva, who are connected to Enigma. As the Brotherhood member list has only about five or so members who were added after the fact, I'm currently working on producing better backgrounds for those named and making new ones... BIC: "What a waste of time," Xardius grumbled to himself as he watched Ravakov charge. "He charges...but doesn't do anything else, which means I can do pretty much anything to stop him...like this..." And he blasted a superhot stream of water into Ravakov's face, stopping him...er, cold, or hot, depending on your point of view.
OOC: Brotherhood member Falcon aka Janet, Tera Roth's childhood friend...Yippee for connections.
"Bring it," Xardius said, slamming his injured hands together. "Crissilia, this is where practice pays off." Crissilia smiled slightly and nodded. OOC: Now you're wondering when they found the time to train...mwaha... BIC: Tera Roth, Janet, Tyre, and Highwind exchanged glances while watching the UO float towards the next battle...
OOC: Oh, I have a plot for here... BIC: "Um..." Xardius squinted. "Can't really tell...maybe..." *** Cold eyes watched Abigail and Lexx from afar... EDIT OOC: *sigh* That has something to do with the gunfire, but not completely...
OOC: Yes......my head hurts...... BIC: Xardius shrugged. "Who knows? Could be Brotherhood. I've never heard of him before."
OOC: I'm working on every statement posted in the last few pages...story, Rping, etc...Mostly homework, which is why I wasn't here the past few days... I seriously don't know what to post however...I guess this: BIC: Xardius and Crissilia continued swimming deeper into the water... OOC: *sigh* I'm having a back lash from the Asgard Tournament right now...Sorry.
OOC: Blah, here I come...And then I go... BIC: Xardius was already yanking on a diving suit, with Crissilia's help. Crissilia suited up, and then both jumped into the water.
"Eh, well, the peasants screaming Ravakov probably have a clue," Xardius said, pointing and walking out of the ship, followed by Crissilia.
OOC: Meh, up to you then...You're piloting the ship, XD.
OOC: Well, here we go, then...I think I'll just sit back and let you guys finish this...If you have any plot twists you want Xardius to go through, or Enigma, or what not...post 'em.
OOC: *Sigh* I need to go do the dishes...Might or might not be back... BIC: Xardius shrugged. "How about Dark Atlantica...?" "Good choice," Tera Roth said, stepping inside with Janet in tow. "I just got a report saying the UPA is on the move there...Apparently headed for Dark Midgar." Tyre and Highwind entered as well, followed by the other UO members who had spread out throughout the area...
OOC: Hrm, didn't see the new page... Well, don't worry about it, Jaxed. We're just leaving... BIC: Xardius shrugged. "Why not?" And he got on board, because he had nothing better to do...
OOC: Hrmmm... BIC: "When I can procure a ship," Xardius said. "Remind me to track down Nulix sometime, OK? Bellatrix will want him around...probably." *** Enigma shook his head. "Xardius would just go berserk, and in his condition, I doubt if he'd be able to do more than seriously maim the man. So let's just keep quiet and give them our ilium ship, hmm?"
OOC: *avidly now* Uh-uh-huh-uh. Huh. BIC: Xardius shrugged. "Too little power from myself flooding through him, and too much pressure from the energy of Zaxor bearing down on it. The sword isn't normal, and it's not technically broken, but..." He sighed. "To really break Chomper, you'd have to kill it. And by that I mean, you'd probably have to kill me, and then break it." *** Enigma nodded. "He went after me down in the basement of the hospital so I would...tell him where some people was. He was trying to pump me for information. I got away in the confusion of a, er, gas leak."
OOC: *Nod nod* Mmm-hmmm. BIC: Xardius nodded, trying not to move his arms. "Yeah, but...I paid the price. Even with Xegreny over there healing me, my arms are toasted. I doubt I'll be able to lift anything for a while. And...Chomper..." He sighed at the broken pieces that Crissilia was holding next to him via a cloth. "I'll have to fix it, which will take a while..." *** Enigma shrugged. "He deserved it, the arrogant sob. Trent wasn't any better, although he died more pitifully. I'd be more worried about what Azull is going to do next...Or..." Enigma leaned close and whispered a name. "He's here too. We'll have to leave soon or things are going to come to a more explosive head than this..."
OOC: Time for TR to step in... BIC: Falcon stalked through Midgard, as the hospital began finishing up its job. She found Enigma working on the last of the critical jobs, and avoided him. She needed to think. With Azull gone, Trent and Zaxor both defeated and more than probably dead, Enigma and Novice were the only other two Brotherhood members on the world. She should ask them what she should do next. She didn't want to. As she walked, she fumed, frustrated and furious. Was he that important that she'd follow him through darkness itself? She'd nearly given up ever seeing him again. After all, it had been nearly six years now... She stopped, her heart skipping a beat. There he was. *** Tera Roth stood, watching the grim procession of people walking to the carrier ships designed to take them to another world due to Asgard's untimely deterioration. None of them were actual residents of Asgard...the only ones who had been were the Asgard gods themselves, who were now all quite dead. Highwind walked up to him, and nodded. "They didn't lose a single person. Amazing." "Tell them we'll compensate," Tera Roth said. "Heaven knows I've got the cash. And if I don't, Xardius does." Highwind smiled slightly, and walked away, leaving Tera Roth alone. His hair stood up on the back of his neck, and he rubbed it, closing his eyes and leaning back against the cool rock, slumping down to the ground. Sleep overtook him, but he didn't think he was asleep long before he heard a voice calling to him as if through a thick fog. "Darryl?" the voice asked. "Is that...you?" "Whazzat?" Tera Roth groggily asked, forcing his eyes open. "It...it is you," the voice continued, and Tera Roth tried focusing on the speaker's face. It wasn't working too well. "I haven't been called that for ages," Tera Roth said, rubbing his eyes. "Not since Genesis..." "Well..." the figure said, kneeling down beside him. "I am..." Tera Roth's eyes shut again. "S-sorry, I can't..." He lost all energy. Exhausted, he felt sleep, embarrassingly, overcoming him. What is wrong with me? he wondered to himself. "No, I'm sorry," the voice said. "I should have let you sleep..." "Wait..." Tera Roth said, forcing his head up to look at the person squatting next to him. "I know you..." And then he was gone, though she must have caught him because he didn't remember pain from his head hitting the ground. *** He awoke some time later, as the sun rose. His pillow was soft and warm, and he realized that he was lying across her lap. Sitting up quickly, he grabbed his head and muttered to himself. Looking over, he watched "Falcon" sleep, her face serene, all trace of condescension and anger washed away. He hadn't seen her in six years, yet he remembered her perfectly, now that he'd seen her again. They'd been friends on Genesis, ever since he arrived at the age of six, thanks to Xardius' spell. She'd helped him through everything: school, college...He had a lot to thank her for. He had no idea what she was doing here... Falcon's eyes fluttered, and she opened them, then turned her head to look at Tera Roth. Tera Roth smiled sheepishly. "Hello Janet. It's been a while." Janet smiled slightly. "That's an understatement. "What are you doing here?" he asked, eying her for any obvious injuries. "Oh, this and that," Janet answered, feeling a twinge of guilt. "Actually I...I've been looking for you." Tera Roth's brow furrowed. "Seriously? For how long?" "Six years," Janet said. "Give or take a few months." "Why?" Tera Roth asked after a moment. Janet shrugged. "I don't know myself really. I just had to do it." Tera Roth was stumped. "Six years is a long time to look for someone." "Not when..." she swallowed. "Look, Darryl, I'll be honest with you. I knew you were a Heartless, knew you were for a long time...I couldn't just let you take off without letting you know. But I did. And then there were the dreams...The dreams of you becoming corrupted by dark...of fighting terrible foes, and nearly dying, because I hadn't been able to tell you...I couldn't live with myself. I followed you, but I couldn't ever find you..." Tera Roth nearly fell over, but he refrained and let her keep talking. "Then," Janet said, "and this is the hard part: I met Scourge. He offered to get me out of the mess I was in from searching for you..." Her hands clenched. "I'm a member of the enemy - I'm a member of the Brotherhood. And...there's more...Scourge is the one who let me find you here, really..." Tera Roth was silent, not letting her see how shocked he really was. "And one more thing," Janet said, staring at Tera Roth with the cold eye of a falcon. "I can't let you kill him. Kill Scourge. I won't let you." Tera Roth leaned back, and considered her for a moment. "It's been a long time," he said finally. Janet swallowed again. "Darryl?" "Everyone calls me Tera Roth now," he said. "I heard my parents died...I wanted to let them live through me." He scrubbed a hand through his mucky hair. "Look...Just stick with me, all right? I'm not the same...you're not the same...our goals in life aren't the same...But I hope we can still be friends." Janet's mouth was open, but she shut it and nodded tightly. "Let's." Tera Roth stood up, and offered her a hand. "Well then, let's get going." *** Azull slammed a hand down onto the ground. "This...is...grating..." he said, through clenched teeth. "That stupid monstrosity is twisting everything!" "Darryl von Karrte-Tera Roth! I swear by the power I command," Azull snarled. "I will destroy you, and everything you hold dear!" Azull turned and stalked off, heading for the nearest ilium ship... OOC: And you'll learn why he has such a bad grudge against Tera Roth later...
OOC: Yeah, but I was running out of time, so...He might come back one day...who knows...But Zaxor is definitely dead, XD. BIC: Xardius was lucky he'd gotten Zaxor's sword out of him before Xegreny had used the healing power. Slumping down to his knees, he rewrapped his bandages. He was so...tired... Crissilia knelt by him, a concerned look on her face. "Xardius?" she asked. "Hmm, you all right Crissilia?" Xardius asked, fighting to keep his eyes open. "Are you...yes, I'm fine," Crissilia said, sounding worried. "But..." "Don't worry," Xardius smiled. "I don't die over trivial wounds like this." With that, he lost what will there was to stay awake and fell over, sleeping peacefully as his hands cradled the broken Chomper...
Trent felt the blow hit him, and the power he'd been holding through his will cracked. The next instant, he was obliterated by the very power he'd summoned. Falcon sneered. "What a pathetic weakling...when it came down to it, he was all talk..." And that, as they say, was that. Falcon turned and walked off. *** Bahamut reeled back from Xardius' next blow, and Xardius nodded in confirmation as Zaxor gasped in pain. "I see now," Xardius said. "You're connected." Zaxor's eyes flashed. "Very well," Xardius said. "Kill him Bahamut!" Zaxor roared, and Bahamut's next neo-flare erupted from its mouth. By that time, Xardius was in the air, and the neo-slash was cut in two from Chomper's blow. The next instant, he buried it full hilt into Bahamut's neck, then ripped its head clean off. Zaxor screamed in pain as Bahamut disappeared from underneath him. Xardius landed as Zaxor struggled desperately. Xardius sheathed Chomper. "The end." Zaxor laughed. "Not quite." Power lanced out of Zaxor as massive swords twice the size of his body emerged, connected by a thick chain that led up to an even more monstrous blade. Zaxor grabbed the two massive swords, as dragon armor encased his body. His eyes glowed. "You've just made me angry," Zaxor said. "This is the truth with all the Brotherhood! Their greatest weakness is their greatest strength!" Xardius sighed, and pulled out Chomper again. "You just don't know when to quit do..." The next instant, he was flying across the room, his hands bleeding from the force of blocking Zaxor's blow. Zaxor stayed with him, raining blows down on him. Xardius' arms became fragments of pain as the bones crunched together. With a sick crunch, his left arm broke. Xardius roared with anger, his backwash swing catching Zaxor from thigh to shoulder and blowing him back. Not a mark remained. "Pathetic," Zaxor sneered. Xardius gritted his teeth, and ripped his bandages off. Nothing happened. His eyes widened. Zaxor laughed and charged. "What!?" Xardius yelled, desperate now, blocking Zaxor's blows. "You think I'm stupid?" Zaxor howled. "I'm containing your power with Bahamut!" Xardius realized, then, the full extent of Zaxor's trap. Not only did he unleash Zaxor's full power, but in the same turn, contain his own. Xardius' jaw became set, and suddenly, the desperation turned into calm intensity. Zaxor was surprised. Although his blows lost none of their power, Xardius stopped being affected by them. Radiating from him was the heat of thousands of wars, millions of battles, and every one a triumph. Radiating from him was the cold killing power of a cold-blooded war veteran. Radiating from him was power. Radiating from him was truth. It was enough to chill Zaxor's blood. Zaxor screamed in fury and gave it his all, the dragon king blades opening gashes all over Xardius' body, but still Xardius stood, unaffected. With a roar, Zaxor turned all his power into one monstrous blow, his blade going straight through Chomper, straight through Xardius, pinning Chomper to Xardius with the hilt. Xardius smiled. "The end." Blood erupted from his mouth as he slammed his right hand down on Zaxor's face and roared the death finale of Zaxor. "Chaotic Ultimagum!" Zaxor had time to scream. Then his body ripped apart into thousands of pieces, those pieces disintegrating into tinier atoms, and the very atoms themselves scattering to every corner of the world. All life within ten feet was wiped out instantly, everything shredded with the cacophony of the ultimate spell. And that, as they say, was that. EDIT OOC: I gotta go. Hope you enjoyed the fight, Pirate! See you tomorrow!
