    The First Meeting

    • The first time they met, Larxene taunted Sora.
    • She rushed at him and smacked him around.
    • This is when I changed his lucky charm.
    • She taunted him again and threatened to destroy it.
    • Sora knocked the charm out of her hand.
    • And that's when they readied their weapons and began to face off.

    *End of testimony*

Naminé smiled shyly. "You asked for the events up to the point of the first battle, right?"

OOC: Remember that in Ace Attorney format, in the Cross-Examination stage, each statement will need to be pressed for more information. That's why it seems vague. If anything needs to be added to the testimony, the defense must be the one to ask to add anything to the statements.

Also, Pika_Power, the question was when they first drew their weapons. That means you only asked about the events up to the first battle.

    Well, it's a Cookie Castle.
    Just thought you should know.
Of course, people would assume it was made out of cookies.
Of course, now you'll probably be
I used to think it was chocolate chip.
more suspicious of guys now that I told you.
But then I googled Cookie Castle.
I hope I didn't turn you off from them.
Most of them are made from gingerbread.
Like I said, I was generalizing.
So, that's how I see the walls now.
It doesn't apply to all of them.
    Isn't imagination wonderful? :p

Guys have the uncanny ability to be peeping toms. It's like when they go to naughty websites without getting caught. It's just male curiosity who find the female body completely mesmerizing in motion.
    Especially with the gyrating hips.
As for me, I'd rather grab another cookie.
That makes a lot of guys drool.
*looks around at the invisible castle*
Seriously, they never look at the shoes or the hair.
Oh, right. The IRS. I'm pretty sure they're gone. And if not...
Their eyes just zoom right to what's in-between.
*takes out what seems to be a vat of scalding chocolate milk*
I'm speaking about teenage guys, of course.
    Take this!
    Around early teens and above.
*dumps entire contents over the castle walls, instantly incinerating IRS people, solicitors and hobos*
Unless they manage to stay pure.
Well, that takes care of one problem. I think we can safely make the castle turn visible again!
Which is very rare considering the media.
    *looks at vat*
And stretching your arms above the head.
What the...this isn't a vat! It's that jacuzzi that was in Amber's room! How'd it get all the way out here?!
It usually draws their eyes to the chest area.
*ditches the jacuzzi and flees before Amber notices*
Of course, I'm only generalizing. Not true for every guy out there.
BTW, is this castle made of gingerbread? Because that would make a lot of sense. :p

OOC: Sorry Repliku. I forgot about the whole real life bit. I was just curious if you knew that we had already started or not.

Naminé sighed. She was hoping to avoid using her powers again for the sole purpose of this trial. "I'm not sure if I can do that," she said apologetically. "Either he can have the memories of Castle Oblivion or he can have his current memories. He can't have both." She looked crestfallen. "Sorry, but if I were to rework his Chain of Memories to remember what happened in the Castle, it'd probably take me another year to change it back to his regular memories."

Kairi looked shocked. "You mean he's going to forget about me again if you go through with this?" There was a pang of sorrow in her heart.

Naminé nodded. "Unless there's another way or some safeguard that could be implanted to prevent his heart from being screwed up, I don't think I can give him back his memories using my powers." She glanced at Sora. "I know you don't remember, but right before you went to sleep, I told you that the loose links will sink into the darkness in your heart. You won't be able to just reach in and pick the one you want. The only one who can help you remember..." Naminé smiled. "...is you."

Kairi didn't know whether to feel slightly jealous or not. On one hand, there was this girl that seemed to have as much intimacy with Sora as herself. But then she quickly remembered that this girl WAS herself. Albeit another side of her. She felt slightly annoyed at the fact that she was being forced to play the helpless girl that couldn't assist in any way again.

Naminé noticed the worry in Kairi's eyes and gave her a quick hug. "Don't worry, Kairi. You'll have your chance to shine."

Kairi giggled slightly at Naminé's attempt to cheer her up.

Naminé glanced at the prosecution and reluctantly said "I'm sorry, but unless you want to spend another year waiting for Sora to regain all the memories he had after Castle Oblivion, I'm afraid that he has to remember on his own."

"What about Roxas?" Kairi asked suddenly. "Isn't there a way for him to act as the safeguard for his memories?"

Naminé shook her head. "I'm not sure how HIS memories would be affected, let alone everyone here in this courtroom. Remember, if Sora remembers what happened in Castle Oblivion and he loses all his current memories, that means everyone here will lose their memories of him too." She gave Kairi a stern glare. "And I know you of all people don't want that."

Kairi cringed at the thought of losing her memory of her boyfriend again. "So you'd rather take the stand?"

"If there are no other witnesses and I can't use my powers..." Naminé sighed. "I guess I really have no choice in the matter, do I?"

OOC: I don't know. I was asked to play her like I always do and that's how I imagine her to be. And the expression she has on her face when they face Saix doesn't seem too pleased with him, so I imagine there's at least some slight disapproving feelings toward him. Not to mention since she merged back with Kairi (but split for this particular occassion) she has her heart back, so she's got the full range of emotions in her.

Kairi didn't know what to make of the tall blonde with the antennae sticking out of her head. She reminded her of a Shadow Heartless for some odd reason. The way she carried herself seemed to radiate with arrogance and power. There just seemed to be something she didn't like about this woman, but Kairi couldn't quite put her finger on it.

Their eyes eventually met and Kairi suddenly felt a slight twinge of anger flow through her. She eventually broke her gaze due to Naminé taking her seat right next to her.

"So what'd I miss?" Naminé asked.

Kairi shrugged. "To be honest, I have absolutely no idea."

That's when Naminé noticed Larxene. Her eyes narrowed as she glared at the Savage Nymph.

Kairi noticed Naminé's expression and leaned toward her whispering, "You know her?"

Naminé gave a curt nod. "She's that sadistic $%*#@ that used to torment me in Castle Oblivion."

Kairi gave Naminé a pitying look. "Well, she can't be completely bad..."

"She's also one of the people that toyed with Sora while I was being forced to redo his Chain of Memories," Naminé added grimly.

Kairi's eyes widened in shock. "You mean to tell me that Sora was actually losing? To her?"

    Naminé nodded again.

Kairi shook her head. "As much as I'd like to believe you, I've got to see her personality for myself."

    Two words: "Shadow Roxas."

Hence, why I didn't use it. But thank you! :)

Shouldn't be too hard. You've still got at least twenty female roles to fill in.

OOC: Um, guys? Are you really sure Repliku even KNOWS we're doing this? Because he's been online for an hour and I haven't seem him glance this way at all...

Namine finally finished taking her "porcelain cruise" and began heading back to the courtroom. That's when she noticed the lights flickering on and off. Thinking that something was up, she rushed straight for the doors.

I wasn't originally planning on using those custom characters, but I decided to try tying this to my other story (due to the fact that I was running out of ideas). Believe me, they have an important role in all of this and I won't mention them again until I need them.

Unfortunately for Sora, Kairi had coincidentally noticed her cell phone go off on vibrate and completely missed him getting electrocuted. So, she was utterly confused when the audience began muttering their disapproval of how the witnesses were being treated. "What...did something just happen?" The only thing she could make out was Sora's smoldering form and sparks flying from the defense's cheeks.

She sighed and rolled her eyes. "I hope the sprinkling system isn't too overly sensitive."

Pretty simple. "Yamikai" = "Yami" (another word for dark) + "Kairi" (taking the first syllable). I mean, Dark, Shadow and Anti were all pretty much taken by the boys already and I didn't want to use any of those prefixes again. :xp:

Ooc: Understood. But Pika DID bring it up, though.

EDIT: BTW ICSP, you might want to add how the whole Ace Attorney system works on the front page:
