Something was starting to bug her, it burned inside her as though she felt betrayed. Was it the medication messing with her memory of the incident or was it real? Bronagh couldn't find the blur between the reality and fiction.
It doesn't matter that it didn't actually happen, because Bronagh believes it did.
There was a girl who ran up to her when she was trapped under the metal.
One of the ones in the crash.
Bronagh had looked up at her almost pleading for help.
When the girl had whispered to her, "You might as well die now, as opposed to later." This girl had wished her dead.
Who was the girl? Why had she done so? This girl had intentions of winning this game didn't she? If Bronagh was gone it'd be easier for her to have won. The fact that she had left her there was strategic.
"That bitch..." Bronagh growled under her breath. Was this someone who was switched? Who was the asshole that left her to die?
She wasn't going to get away with it.
Bronagh tried to remember her appearance, it was the blonde girl, she did not know her name but she certainly knew how she looked. She did not want to blame the body, she had to blame the soul.
Who the fuck would know her name?
    Maybe Marina?
Bronagh's aunt had left a little while ago, leaving her with flowers and food. Although she wasn't supposed to leave the room, and she was only supposed to use the wheelchair to go to the bathroom at the other side of the room, Bronagh grabbed the wheelchair and took off anyway. Although a nurse tried to stop her, she claimed it was for practice.
"Child, you are just out of surgery. I'm bringing you back to your room."
"Can this be our little secret? I'll be back before the doctor comes to check up on me."
"...I'm in a good mood today, you have 5 minutes. Please be careful."
"Do you happen to know which room has Marina Sario?"
"She is in the room right next door. If that's the furthest you are going I am fine with it."
    "Thank you miss."
Bronagh wheeled over, struggling at first, to the next room over. She didn't want to just enter, so she knocked on the door.
It's a privacy thing, and they will know I'm not a nurse or nothing...

Bronagh did not want to sleep, she wanted to know what was going on and if her legs would be alright. But during the ride in the ambulance all of the pain kicked in at once and the emergency team had no choice but to knock her out.
When she finally had woken up she had surgery done on both of her legs. Her aunt Joyce got there in time, but her mother had no plans on going to the hospital. Bronagh was still on the after effects of the medication.
"Everything is so... soft.. and, clean. Why do these places have to be so... clean. For places that carry sick people and dying people, and sometimes dead people..."
"Bronagh... I think you need to go back to sleep."
"No~ No sleep for me. No need to sleep all I do is sleep sleep sleep sleep sleep..."
Bronagh's aunt sighed as she started talking to doctors, but Bronagh couldn't catch what they were talking about. It wasn't until Bronagh moved her legs and pain shot through her body that the whole incident finally played back into her head.
"OH MY GOD IS EVERYONE ALRIGHT!"
"Shhhh shhshhshh Bronagh people are sleeping."
    "No one died right..."
    "Bronagh just relax."
"Joyce I just want to know if everyone is okay."
"Bronagh it's probably best if you go back to sleep."
Bronagh grabbed the collar of her aunt's shirt and pulled her closer, "Don't dance around the question auntie I will be more stressed out if you do."
"...I do not know, they won't tell me anything Bronagh."
Bronagh let go of the collar and leaned back and closed her eyes, she was almost praying that everyone was alright.
"I know no doctors would say this to you, but you were really lucky. If you were crushed any higher you would be paralyzed from the waste down. Instead, you will be fine in a few months with physical therapy. You'll be walking by your sixteenth birthday."
Bronagh looked around the room, she wanted to know where everyone else was but wouldn't dare move. They didn't have her legs raised like she was expecting, they were raised but not up the in the things they showed in the movies.
Please, oh please. Everyone be alright....

Despite her panicking she managed to take in the situation at hand with all the the sights and sounds. All of the cars that had stopped had people's faces staring it total disbelief at the sight. A couple people were out of their cars, some calling the cops(not that they really needed to at this point).
Bronagh tried to ignore the pain and get herself out from under the metal but couldn't do it on her own. At one point paramedics got to the scene and tried to get her out. It took 4 paramedics and a couple of volunteers from the cars to get it off her RIGHT leg.
Oh my god I cannot take this!

After a couple more people joined in they got it off her left leg and put her onto a stretcher immediately. Bronagh started to feel the pain in her upper legs and held in all the screams she wanted to shout at that moment.
"Is there anyone still in the helicopter?!"

A helicopter crash. Not a fun way to end her first time on a helicopter but it certainly wasn't a way she would forget. She covered her face and head from shattered glass and succeeded in saving her head.
Sometime during the movement her seat belt did not hold and broke. She grabbed onto the seat holding on as much as she could but lost her grip and rolled off as she tried to grab onto something.
When everything stopped she was face first on pavement, her nose was numb and she couldn't move her legs. When she raised her head to look she saw how they were crushed under a huge portion of the broken helicopter. She couldn't get herself out and started to panic.
    Oh no please...
"HELP! HELP ME!" Bronagh shouted into the day praying that someone heard her cries.

Bronagh sighed as she got into the helicopter and sat herself down. She hadn't ever been in a plane or a helicopter before and this wasn't the way she planned for her first time.
Heck she didn't have a plan for anything anymore.
Bronagh put her phone on airplane mode and leaned her elbows on her knees, her hat falling a bit more onto her face. Everything was loud and she really wasn't fond of it. Soon she was covering her hears and humming softly to herself.
Wow these Brookridge kids really know how to get out of a campus in style

Bronagh was a bit glad when they got to the dining hall, because she hadn't eaten anything since the toast the other day, in fact she really hadn't eaten at all. Then she heard Marina's voice,
    "Bro...nagh, ch-change of plans. We're going to the...the roof."
    Oh wonderful...
Bronagh felt Marina grab her arm and didn't react, she understood. When she got up to the staircase she heard Marina speak again
"If you know the number to any of your fellow Bellhurst peers, it would be wise to inform them that they should meet up here for safety purposes."
Bronagh thought for a minute and looked at her contacts, she sighed then switched over to the email. She knew the names of the Bellhurst kids but she did not know if they all had access to their phones or if they had access to email.
She switched over and sent a message with her free hand.

Bronagh looked at Marina and saw the fear in her eyes as she stuttered her name, she understood. She smiled at Marina in a calming way and said, "How about we just get to the dining hall, get you a glass of water, and just get something to eat. They have people out searching for them, you will be fine."
Bronagh scratched the back of her head, she wasn't afraid of snakes nor the fact they were poisonous. The only thing that bugged her was that they were lethal. Didn't this snake issue have great timing. Bronagh looked up at the sky and was going to address her father out loud, but decided at last second to hold back. She looked around cautiously to make sure nothing was around.
This better have nothing to do with me....

She had expected a frown, but she had not expected it to change so quickly. Perhaps it was the whole "we're back in our correct bodies" thing, but maybe not.
. "Is it not glorious? Look we are ourselves again! I told you it was only a matter of time."
Bronagh nodded, yeah... time... she then smiled back, although it didn't last long due to the unexpected hug. She tried to smile again but kept finding herself with a straight face. She looked at the girl's outfit though, there was a lot of pink...
"Come! Let us get breakfast. Then there will be a meeting in the dining hall later. I intend to stay down there though. You may do what you wish."
    A meeting? Alright then...
Bronagh followed Marina to the dining hall holding out her things towards her. She was trying to not think but kept failing to do so. After a minute or so she spoke out, "Is everyone else switched back, that you know of? And what type of meeting is going to happen in the dining hall?"
Bronagh heard a beep on her phone and checked it, she got a message from Brookridge and she stopped walking, "Marina... Marina... I... I can't explain this message in words..."

Bronagh picked up her phone, opening it up and looking to see if she had missed anything substantial. Other than messages from her mother and aunt there wasn't anything; phone calls and all.
Bronagh opened up Marina's phone and searched for it's number. She didn't add her number to Marina's she added Marina's number to her's. She didn't plan on calling her unless there was something horrible important, but she wanted the number in case something happened.
She didn't read any messages, because it wasn't her place to do so. Bronagh put on new clothes and washed her face. As she was leaving she noticed her old note to Eleanora was still there. She didn't mind, especially since Eleanora was most likely going through what she went through, well at least the body swap.
Bronagh grabbed her phone, Marina's things, her little notebook, and her key and left the room.
Bronagh silenced her phone and walked to Marina's room. She did not know if she was asleep or not, but at least the interruption of sleep wouldn't be too harmful. Bronagh knocked on the door and waited, pulling out her notebook and reading what she had written.

Bronagh woke up with a headache, staring at her picture of the mystical mountain on her ceiling.
    Wait, MY poster?
Bronagh shot up immediately, looking around and seeing her room and laughing a little bit. She ran over to the bathroom and saw her reflection and laughed again, "I'm back! Wait... where is my hat?"
Bronagh brushed her hair and put her hat back on and walked over to get her phone. She looked at it but she refused to open it up and read messages yet. She saw that Marina's things were still with her, which she wasn't surprised about that.
"Wait, I'm back... did that mean you heard me or did everyone happen to switch back today?" Bronagh sighed, "It could be both too... I better get these things back to Marina."
Now I owe her but what do I owe?

Bronagh was still sitting on the bed with hands over her face and thoughts rolling through her mind. She almost shut down thinking about everything.
The first thing she did was open her eyes and stand up, she took a deep breath and listened to the silence.
I thought I was going to wait until I got into my body to do anything.
This isn't MY body, I want to be in MY body to do anything.
Bronagh brought her hand up to her lips, she felt them trembling. Why was everything irritating her? Why was she getting so stressed out?
    This isn't MY body
Bronagh felt tears come to her eyes, she wanted to cry at that moment. She wanted to cry everything out.
    THIS ISN'T MY BODY.
Bronagh stood up straight, the tears in her eyes were gone. She didn't cry, it was almost as though she... shocked it out of her system.
    That's right.
Bronagh sat down on the bed again, looking up at the ceiling of stars. Something inside her hurt, but that was probably all the built up emotions. Bronagh went to lie down and go to sleep, but as she was lying down she
    felt something inside her enrage.
Oh my god, maybe I am going insane...
"If you are coordinating this game right now Crestatia, you must be paying attention in some way... Although, if I were in your position... maybe I wouldn't pay as much attention as I'm hoping. I don't know. You said it yourself, none of us are satisfying enough. You say you need a winner. I don't have anything to lose at this point, and I'm willing to do whatever you want to be satisfying enough. But I hate this goddamn body I'm in... granted there is nothing wrong with it, it's a healthy body. But it's not MINE."
Bronagh closed her eyes and fell asleep, at this point she couldn't stay awake.
It's only insane if it doesn't work.

It felt odd heading to a room that wasn't her's, not that the dorm room was really "her's" but it still didn't feel right. Bronagh got a couple of faces acknowledging her (all of them men), but she didn't acknowledge because because.
Well you get it guys Bronagh really had no idea what the hell was going on.
Bronagh got up to Marina's room and opened the door. The first thing Bronagh noticed were the constellations. For the first time in a while she smiled, feeling a bit like a little kid. She shut the door behind her and looked around, she really didn't want to touch anything and mess anything up. Especially when she kept remembering the dress.
Bronagh walked over to the vanity mirror and looked in it for a while. She wasn't really paying attention to the reflection, she was thinking, and the mirror was a place to look. If we aren't real... what happens to us when we die? Do we... disappear and forget everything? Or does something happen that involves pain?
Bronagh stopped thinking and started to actually look in the mirror. She didn't touch the stranger's face, but instead sat up straight and smiled, "This girl was blessed with good looks. But you know what... Bronagh, you aren't too bad either."
Bronagh stood up and walked in the middle of the room, and found herself thinking again.
I still wonder, how do we get out of these bodies?
Bronagh brought her hand up to her chin to think, she was reflecting on the meeting with Crestatia. She couldn't think of anything significant from the meeting, and sighed.
If we had the bodies switched before the meeting, I could have asked her... I could have asked her how to get out of these bodies. But can we still?
Crestatia did say that nobody has summoned her yet... but only because no one has tried.
But she did say there were consequences to every action...
I probably haven't seen the worst of these "consequences"
"Marina might kill me if I tried to summon her and screwed up somehow... but..." Bronagh paced the room, thinking and thinking. There was too much thinking going on.
The letter only effects me after I get back into my body... so that can't be a way...
If I were a demon and I were running a game, what would be a sufficient way to summon me?
Bronagh sat down on Marina's bed, still thinking. She put her hands on her head and closed her eyes, to block out visual.
    x
Does she need a vessel to be summoned?
Maybe I need to break a rule to get her attention
Ah why do you care if you get hurt, at least one person knows you don't appreciate your life.
If I break a rule, in Marina's body, who suffers? Both of us?

Bronagh grabbed the key and listened in interest at what she had said. She found it interesting, it was certainly something she didn't spend much time looking into. Nor had she read a book about it. She did know about palm reading, but she hadn't delved into it because it really hadn't peaked her interest to the point of learning.
Not that she wanted to be a psychic anyway, it was just Writer's Inspiration.
Bronagh watched Marina leave and spoke, "Maybe that's what I should do with my time... live my life to the fullest. I did say it before as a joke... but... maybe that's what I need to do."
I have always wanted to skydive...

Muff Monkey: I really love the colouring of this one. I have never watched the show, but I did watch a walkthrough for the game and I feel it really represents the game. It was also how I spent my summer, watching walkthroughs of the game.

Cat~: I love the colouring of this one too and the way the text was edited.

Plums: I may not have played persona, but wow. This signature was very well done. I love how it is set up so it's the main character in the middle and the other characters are circled around.

Bronagh had her eyes closed for a few minutes, only because she was thinking. She was still sitting at the table, despite being finished with her toast. She wanted to get her phone, but she wasn't sure if she had it in her pockets before the switch.
After a long while she opened her eyes and looked over at Marina and spoke, "Can you check the right pocket in your pants to see if there is a key?"
She almost cut herself off but continued the sentence, she watched Marina inspect her palm. Bronagh raised an eyebrow and questioned, "Um... may I ask what you are doing?"
She recognized the boy, Theodore? Was awake and moving around. She didn't mean to disregard him. She was still recovering from her sudden vent to Marina. To acknowledge him though she waved at him, but she didn't look. She was still observing Marina and her hand observation.

"Oh come now. If it is true, and we do not exist, and survival means the elligibility of existance, then your father never really died. For his life was never really there. One person survives and is crowned the victor. All of this disappears because they will toss it aside like...well a gameboard. Being crowned victor means true existance, but she did not say where that existance was or if it was a joyful one."
"She could also be lying. Crestatia could have said all that to toy with our heads and make us wish to die. Believe what you wish, but do not speak of how you do not care about your life in my presence again."
I wonder if Crestatia really has a reason to lie.
Bronagh shook her head, "Sorry, I didn't mean to really go off like..." she couldn't continue the sentence and decided to change the topic, "So, did the boy wake up? Was his body switched too?"
Bronagh sat there, she felt uneasy. Everyone seemed to know what they were doing, or had a plan set up. Bronagh didn't, she still had no idea what was going on. And other than being in the room with someone else, she felt alone.

Bronagh rolled her eyes at Marina's response to her rant about looks and money, "I didn't mean easier in gain. I meant easier mentally. It would have been fine for me to look at myself and the morning and think "hey, that girl looks alright". The money thing, I really don't know. Maybe wealthy wasn't needed, just "family"."
Bronagh took another bite out of the toast and stared at the toast listened to her
"Judging by what Crestatia said yesterday, I would assume someone, or multiple someones, will have to do something noteworthy. There is no one individual particularly satisfying, which means, someone needs to become satisfying. Someone needs to show that they are a frontrunner. A person the players should vote for, since we are apparently the pawns. We must show her that we are worth keeping around and this experiment will probably last until someone does that."
Bronagh took another bite out of the toast and said, "A person players vote for... I love thinking about that... we aren't, real." she put her toast down and wiped her face with a napkin. "We aren't real, we're just game pieces... how do you feel sympathetic or apathetic for game pieces? I mean... Prove what? Prove that we can put up a fight? That we want to continue on? I can't put up a fight, I'm a writer! I write words down! And I haven't wanted to continue on for years...not since my dad died..."
Bronagh found herself putting her hand on her forehead and whispered, "I wonder what a real life feels like..."

Bronagh woke up, said a prayer to herself, then looked down and saw the dress and body of Marina. "Damn it..." Bronagh whispered. She sat up and looked around, it was like any typical apartment she had seen.
Bronagh went into the bathroom and cleaned up, still trying to be careful about the dress.
Why am I caring so much about this dress....?
Bronagh stood up and went into the kitchen and grabbed a small glass of juice again. This time she was drinking it to enjoy it rather than getting poor cooking out of her mouth. She saw Marina sitting at the table and spoke to her as she was making herself toast, "You're lucky. I wish I had good looks and a wealthy family. At least one of those things, it would have made things easier on me. Bu I guess it's rare."
When her toast popped out she started putting jam on it then continued, "So, these bodies. To get swapped out of them, what do we do? Do we wait it out? Do we try to accept one another?" Bronagh stopped talking, she felt like she was talking too much. She sat down at the table and started to eat.

Bronagh was listening to Marina, but wasn't paying attention to Marina cooking. She was looking around the apartment and then she looked over at Marina at the words Senator Sario.

I figured I was in the body of a rich girl but a politician's daughter? Oh god...
At that point when she was handed the plate of food, she hadn't payed attention to anything going on in the kitchen. She smelt burning, but it was ignored. She was at the point of stress where she just needed food in her system. She quickly took a bite of the pasta which almost immediately, attempted to get out of her system. She covered her mouth fast and swallowed it again.
Oh my god she is trying to kill me.
"Juice in the fridge right? Great!" She said as she walked quickly over to the fridge and poured herself a cup of juice. "I love juice it's so... fruity" She said as she immediately started to drink it.
    The taste isn't going away.
Bronagh coughed as she wrapped the plate up in tin foil and put it in the fridge, "You know, I'm just... so confused over the body switch thing... I'm not really in the mood to eat... plus, I'm a sloppy eater when it comes to pasta...."
Bronagh tilted her head, Marina's head, to the side and walked towards the living room, "I didn't really sleep last night either, it's been kind of a long day... stay safe."
Bronagh walked over to the couch and really didn't know how to fall asleep. She didn't know if she wanted to take off the dress of if she was going to fall asleep in it. In truth, she really didn't want to piss anyone off. But within the time it took her to decide what to do she was already passed out on the couch.
