    These two are kinda folksy and not exactly rock, but they've definitely got some elements of rock in them. The Hunters of Kentucky is especially folk rock-ish because it's a rock adaptation of a old folk song.

    If I didn't read your post at all, how could I have read enough of it to quote the last line? I'm saying that they aren't part dead or almost dead because that would imply still being alive. They are not still alive. In order for something to be undead, two requirements must be met. First, it has to have been completely dead at some point. Second, it has to not be dead now while remaining not alive.
