    "I wonder what happens after..."
Yo listen up, here's the story
After a long chaotic ride Jessie pushed her into the library. It took a second to recover before she turned to her and yelled, "Are you trying to hurt me!?"
About a little guy who lives in a blue world
"Shh we are in a library Wheels." Jessie whispered and she knelt down to Bronagh's level of eyesight and spoke, "And no, I can't casually walk you through snow. I realize I was risking your health when I ran and I apologize for not asking you in advance." Jessie took out a pen and paper and wrote down a number and handed it to her, "Text me when you need to head back, I'll be up on the 4th floor. I'll be diving through the history section."
    "History?"
"Yeah, my father is a pretty big history fan. It rubbed off on me. The library is the best for private schools when it comes to history text. Probably the only reason he paid to send me here."
"Oh, you aren't a Bellhurst transfer?"
"Believe me you would have already known me if I was a Bellhurst transfer. Have fun... Bronag."
    "Bronagh."
"Look I bothered to not call you wheels."
    "...sorry..."
"Don't be sorry for things you can't control." Jessie walked away growling under her breath, "You people and your Catholic guilt..."
and all day and all night all that he sees is just blue, inside and outside
Bronagh wheeled herself to the front desk and returned The Giver then she rolled to one of the Library's many computers to check to see which section of this vast building contained the Science Fiction section.

    "I wonder what happens after..."
    double double
When Bronagh finished her cereal she decided to read for a little longer and finished The Giver fairly quickly. She liked the book and all but it was disappointing how easy a read it was. She grabbed her bag and left the room adding the book to her bag of nifty things.
    double double
She got down to the group room and found herself staring out the window, she really wanted to go outside but knew she couldn't. If anything she now wanted to go to the library and get a better book.
    double double
A girl walked into the room eating a lollipop, she saw Bronagh looking out the window and spoke with the voice of a man, "If you need to go somewhere I'll get you there."
    double double
Bronagh jumped at the voice and raised an eyebrow before they listed their hand and said, "No no. I know what you're gonna ask. I'm a male to female transgender and my voice unfortunately went baritone." she smiled at her and spoke, "My name is Jessie."
    double double
Bronagh tilted her head slightly and was about to speak before they interrupted, "Now, where is your destination? Mess Hall?"
    "Um... library."
    "...that's a long haul."
    "Not really..."
    "In the snow, yes."
    double double
She walked over to Bronagh and pulled her wheelchair back and started walking towards the door, "I was actually heading there myself, so you're in luck."
    double double
"Um, wait... what are you doing."
    "Hand on tight... um... name?"
    "Bronagh."
"Hand on tight Wheels because that name is hard to remember."
    double double
The next thing she knew the wheelchair was moving really fast as Jessie pushed her down the ice and snow covered pathway. Although Jessie was laughing as they went down the pathway Bronagh was screaming at the top of her lungs hanging on for dear life.

    goodbye mood
    "ACHOO."
UGH I THOUGHT THIS COLD WAS GONE.
    "ACHOO."
    I don't wanna get up...
    "ACHOO."
    Something feels runny...
    "AW SHIT!"
    space
Bronagh's nose was bleeding. She did not have any tissues nearby. She quickly got herself into her wheelchair and quickly rolled into the bathroom. She grabbed a bunch of toilet paper and pinched her nose tilting her head down. It seemed like forever that she was just sitting there and she closed her eyes coughing slightly.
    the final frontier
When her nose stopped bleeding she cleaned up and rolled over to the bed. There was unfortunately blood on her pillow. She groaned annoyed and got a facecloth and washed it off. When she was done she changed into her clothes and grabbed herself a bowl of cereal for breakfast for the 2nd day in a row.
these are the voyages of the starship Enterprise.
Well that was a way to wake up...

    1. No, but I like the look and feeling than they give off.

    2. I put them in because way back in 2008 people forgot what my characters looked like and Banners seem to be very helpful for that aspect.

    3. Yes, the answer is a mixture of 1&2 though

    4. Well, when I post music I don't really intend for it to be listened to alongside reading the post, it's kind of a "what song is stuck in my character's head" thing. I don't mind the music though and I often do listen to them alongside reading.

    5. No, music is music no matter where it comes from.

    6. No, I usually ignore first post music to be honest.

"Snow... I wanna make a snowman..."
I like doing this though... little text
Bronagh hadn't actually paid attention at all to the rest of the movie. Instead she sat deep in thought about things that didn't matter.
What exactly do friends do again?
You talk as though you never had a friend.
What exactly makes someone a friend?
I don't think there is a true definition of a friend.
    little text
When the movie was over Bernie had left and Bronagh waved to her, but she sat in the room listening to the repeating music on the DVD menu.
The same question could go for, what makes someone an enemy?
That answer is easier, they do something to you that harms you.
Can you be your own enemy?
Can you be your own friend?
    little text
Bronagh moved herself back into the wheelchair, she took a sip of water then pulled out her phone. She had gotten yet another message, involving what she had spread about Quin
    little text
Bronagh rolled herself back to her dorm, it was surprisingly late, but she wasn't tired. She was quiet in the room for a long time before she pulled out her phone again. She went back to the original email she had sent out weeks ago about Quintus.
I don't want to make enemies...
Why would I ever want that?
Bronagh changed into pajamas and went straight to bed, she still was not tired, but felt that she needed to sleep. She took some melatonin and fell into sleep.

"Snow... I wanna make a snowman..."
"Since ve are near, E vuud like zu zee da Gahlaxzee Spire."
    Ah, the Galaxy Spire
    E is equal to I...
    I'll figure this out.
Bronagh turned her head from the movie and made the decision to stop watching it, she watched Bernie fix her hair and she spoke, "Well it's only a town away. Would you like me to take you there some time?" she was quiet for a second and spoke, "It's not like I can drive but it's always fun going to see places with friends."
Bronagh went silent and her smile faded slightly.
Did I just call her a friend although I barely know her?

"Snow... I wanna make a snowman..."

Bronagh smiled politely as Bernie replied but slowly her smile turned into a confused face, which she tried to hide, but clearly failed in doing so. She couldn't catch a few words through her accent and lost some of the sentence, but she understood the ending and tried to continue, "Is there anything you've really wanted to see in America that you heard about?"

Not that I could get you to any landmarks or anything...

At this point she realized she wasn't paying attention to the movie, and looked over at it to see it was the scene where Artax, the horse, dies in the bog of eternal sadness.

"Snow... I wanna make a snowman..."
    Poweroutages everywhere
Bronagh was off in her own little world mentally until the movie came out and she smiled saying, "This is one of my favorite movies."
    Snow is faaaaalling
She watched the movie for a few minutes, then at the part she knew was music for a good 2-3 minutes she asked, "Do you like America so far?"
    Snow is faaaaalling
She really had no idea where this conversation could take her, but she had this feeling Bernadette was going to appreciate it more than Bronagh appreciated America. Bronagh shifted her legs and turned her head from the movie to Bernadette.

"Snow... I wanna make a snowman..."
    Long forgotten, long forgiven
She really hadn't gotten time to reply before Bernie was over at the DVD shelf. She rolled over towards the couch and pulled her cane our of her back and moved from the wheelchair to the couch. It may have seemed pointless, but couches were actually easier on her legs than the wheelchair.
    Long forgotten, long forgiven
When Bernie picked a case she moved her head to try and see what it was, and raised an eyebrow when she saw it was Neverending Story. It was kind of interesting because she never recalled the movie being in a red case.
    Long forgotten, long forgiven
    Maybe it's a redbox movie?
You realize how stupid you sound right?
    Long forgotten, long forgiven
She leaned her elbows on her thighs again and almost screamed out in pain before she whispered, "I've gotta stop doing that." then she turned her attention back to Bernadette
    Long forgotten, long forgiven
Bronagh really wasn't one for movies, but she didn't mind them when they were not book-adaptations. Sure some books, like Lord of the Rings, were adapted into really good movies. While most did not come out so well. Neverending Story luckily, was a book she had not read, and she purposefully chose not to.
    Long forgotten, long forgiven
Probably because she preferred reading in the actual language of books. And that particular book just happened to be German.

Erm, the NPCs I have are:
    Bronagh's Mom(Rosemarie)
    Bronagh's Aunt(Joyce)
    Shadow
    Ryan
    And Jessie

I mentioned an old boyfriend of Bronagh's mother ONCE, and I don't plan on having him pop up for anything again.

    Information
Each Chapter of Hidden in their Eyes will be released in a "whenever I feel like updating" schedule for the moment. I hope to keep it as active as I can.
This story is a split narration between four characters. A bio will be added in this section when each are introduced. There is no definitive order which character's chapters will be released and when.
    *__________________________________________________________*
    Characters
    • x
    • Olibanum Love is a "citified Clannie" with a heightened sense of mind. She was taken away at age six to be trained for the A.C.C. Normally she tries to keep things cheery but is not afraid to kill the mood when it needs to be killed. Her original name was Minnow
    • Aurum is a Citi, and is also the son of the leader of the A.C.C. At current he appears to be a loyal and obedient citizen of Metro, whose only goal is to be the son his father wants him to be. His birth name is unknown.
    • Daneal is a Clannie of the Epoh clan who ran off at the idea that his family was wiped out. His original name is Zachránce.
    *__________________________________________________________*
    Secondary Characters

    • Tulip Kings is Olibanum's aunt who raised her after her mother died. She cared for Olibanum so much that she almost gave up her own son to save her. Eventually she gave her up to the A.C.C under the impression that everyone in their clan would be killed.
    • Giuda Alexander is a Citi with a passion for reading and writing. His father is a record keeper and Giuda is proud of him for it. He is currently under the training of the A.C.C. thanks to a deal his mother never completed.
    *__________________________________________________________*
    Weapons/Abilities

    • Beocht is a multiweapon. Constucted and used by the Epoh clan for generations. This weapon folds out into a sword, a bow, a gun, two knives, and an axe. Attachments for bullets, arrows and throwing stars are on top of the weapon, but Beocht is used more as a sword. It has a strap so it can be carried on someone's back.

    Introduction: 1/4
    The girl with lying eyes
    -------
    Fire.

Everything was burning the night they attacked my family. I was only five at the time, but I remember that day every time I see a child with fear in their eyes or a small candle being used to light a room on a dark day.

The smoke was engulfing me and I sat there holding in a cough. They were looking for survivors, and I was one of them. I heard the occasional footstep and panicked at the noise. I heard one come closer and pressed flat on the ground and pretended to be dead. My eyes were closed, but I heard footsteps stop and walk away.
    "Neahm."
The voice was cracked and awful sounding, I could not track it down no matter how much I looked.
    "Neahm, daughter. Over here."
My head looked around quickly at the recognition of the voice, it was my father's. I stood up quickly and ran around looking for him. To my despair, I found him bleeding on the ground. His right arm was gone and his face was swollen up. I knelt to the ground and touched his face.
    "Where is Zachránce?"
"I locked him in the safe room."
    "You should be with him."
I pressed my head against him and cried, "I needed to find you and mom..."
He smiled at me and reached his left arm out and grabbed his weapon, the weapon, Beocht. He held it out to me and spoke, "As my eldest, I give you our family's artifact."
I pushed it away and shook him saying, "No father! Rise! You will not die... You can't die!"
He placed it down and grabbed my hand softly and said, "My time is at it's end, save your brother, honor our clan."
His hand fell from my face as I cried, "No father."
    "Shh."
The footsteps approached almost immediately as I looked in fear in the direction they were coming. I was in shock, I should have done what I did the first time... but it was too late.
There were two men from the opposing clan heading our way. They saw me immediately and charged at me.
The rest was instinctive, I picked up Beocht and changed it into a sword and fought them until they both fell dead. Although I was only five, my father had trained me to defend myself as soon as I had aged 3.
There were more footsteps coming, and I couldn't keep fighting. I was already weak. I ran back over to my father, who's breath had stopped. I did not have time to do anything, I had to get to my brother and protect him....

I personally do not mind combat-oriented rps, even if there isn't a real plot. I like to see how people RP in fight scenarios that have very little dialogue, it's even better when no godmodding is involved. I honestly do not mind a little bit of godmodding when it comes to combat-oriented, but only is it is very small and not often.

Ex: You want this one punch to actually hit the other's character(whether they were also godmodding or not), so you say one punch hit, but you make it so the other punches miss, and try to make up for it by allowing the other person's punches to hit.

Now I'm not promoting godmodding because I've seen some fights go ridiculous(I myself wrote such a horrible godmodded post once that the other RPer ignored it, it was so bad..., it was understandable.) and I'm not saying that combat RPs SHOULDN'T have a plot. But they should at least have a basic drive.

I don't mind time rp powers as much as I used to, but on the occasion when I see someone's character can control it but is given no drawbacks from it, it annoys me.

My person pet peeve when it comes to RPing is when someone pops in and keeps doing things irrelevant to the RP. I mean, I understand backtracking or getting away for a bit, but when they stay totally out of the way and in their own little world. I'm also not very fond of rps(that are not crossover) having characters from a different media meet-up. Like say it's a KH rp and then all of a sudden Doctor Who appears(unless it's meant to be a crossover or there is a VERY good reason for it).

"Snow... I wanna make a snowman..."
    FREEZE. EVERYBODY CLAP YOUR HANDS
    "Oh! Hallo Bronagh."
The kiss on the cheeks was not odd to her, although it may be to others. Her uncle Cody used to do the same thing, because he spent a year or two in France and just adopted it as a welcome, which is why she was able to return it back.
This is a story... about a guy named Brady....
    "How are you doing?"
Bronagh smiled back, Bernie's smile was one of those smiles that could turn someone really depressed really happy. It was very friendly.
HEY I JUST HINTED TO THE SKYPE GROUP AS I AM TYPING THIS
"I am doing well, yourself?" she really had nothing better to say at that moment and felt kind of bad about it. She looked up and saw the animal show on, tortoises! Well... it was switching between turtles and tortoises. She was a bit annoyed about it because they were not the same animal but she really did not want to go into it.
A TURTLE LIVES IN WATER, A TORTOISE LIVES ON LAND.
She turned her attention back to Bernie, annoyed slightly about the show, but still was smiling.

Alright I see what you mean and agree with you. I often feel like my rp would just end up being another buried rp because I'm not very well known. But I am a bit confused by what you mean when you say "more famous" rper, do you mean more well known for their rps or just more well known within the community? Or maybe both?

I also feel that people are more likely to join an RP if they know how the person running it works in an RP. Like, I know I'd join yours because I've seen your RPing and know it'd be a good time. But if someone who was really just regularly a lazy poster, or tends to rely on godmodding, I'd probably stay away from their rps. That is judging a little bit, but I might join if I see their RP seems to be going well.

I wouldn't say a popularity contest, I'd say a topic that gets more people interested. For example, if I wanted to make an RP about say The World Ends with You... and there weren't a lot of TWEWY rps, more people are likely to join. When if I made an RP about Organization XIII, there's a lot of those... The reason why this would effect me is because I'm that person who's like "I wanna make another Org XIII rp!" and everyone would be all "yeaaaah it's old."
