--- iPod Shuffle --- Mood: Somewhat Sad --- Outfit--- Day 3 --- Location: Hospital/Camp--- They had sent her out pretty early the next morning because she was doing alright. The doctor gave her an aloe drink to help with her throat which was still doing badly. Her leg was wrapped up and she had trimmed off the burnt parts of her hair, but she was alright other than that. After going through a whole bunch of transport she was finally back at the camp. She forced herself to smile as she looked up at the sky. She was happy she was able to be out of that hospital and managed to survive another day. She went over to Cabin A to get her things but was stopped and told, "Everyone from A-E's things have been moved to Cabin 1." Aislin nodded and headed in that direction. I hope they packed away my iPod because I totally did not have that in my bag unlike everything else.
Thank you Hyuge, I really appreciate the feedback~Sorry to others who may have been reading this. The chapter took longer to write because I kept changing things up. ---Introduction: 4/4The boy with thoughtful eyes-------I was the one who always followed the rules. You do not have a say in who becomes your family, it’s why you have friends. My father knows this and purposefully kept me from developing any relationships with anyone as I grew up. When I was five his attempts appeared to be futile. My father had been gone on a special mission; he never said where he was going, which despite my age he normally would tell me. So I sat in my house rather bored for a few days. Eventually I decided to be a bit rebellious and left the home; which was a large mansion with no windows, and several fake doors. Only one of these doors was real, purposefully. All around the neighborhood I walked around, looking at all of the empty mansions that had yet to be sold. There were no children in the neighborhood, or if there were, they were in their homes. I skipped over to a little park just at the end of the neighborhood and went on a swings within it, the swing in between two other swings. As I swung back and forth, I closed my eyes and felt the wind on my face. I zoned out completely in my own imagination until I heard a small voice, "Excuse me?" I did not expect anyone there at the time and let go of the swings, calling off of them and onto the person who had spoken. Terrified, I jumped up and turned around to see this stranger, only to find a black haired boy a little older than me rubbing his head in pain. I held out my hand which he accepted and I pulled him up, "S-Sorry I was not paying attention." The boy laughed and kicked the safety foam underneath our feet, "That's alright brunette, I just wanted to ask if I could use the swing.""But there are others around me.""I know, but the one in the middle is my favorite.""Then go right ahead." I spoke as I went on the swing on the right."What is your name, brunette?""Aurum.""Aurum huh? You are an A.A.C kid as well?"I turned to the boy and spoke, "Yes. I was born with the name though, and if I have a birth name I do not know it.""Well then Aurum, it is very nice to meet you. My real name was taken at 3, but my current name is Giuda.""Well it is nice to meet you Giuda.""The feeling is mutual." We swung on the swings together for a while, exchanging few words between each other. At one point he jumped off the swings and turned around and faced me, "You know what irritates me. How all the trees in Metro are just... fake."I slowly stopped the swing and walked up to him and spoke, "Not all of the trees are fake.""But none of them should be fake.""We aren't Clannies.""Just because we are not Clannies doesn't mean we shouldn't have trees.""What purpose would a tree serve?""It depends on the type of tree.""Are you a tree-hugger?""What? No. I just would love for there to be an apple tree somewhere.""An apple tree? You mean like in those myths?""Apples are real.""I meant the trees they describe in the books. Long flowing trees with many branches baring fruit.""You read? Do you write as well?""Name a Citi you know that knows how to write.""Giuda Alexander." I felt my eyes widen at this and looked down at the safety foam and spoke, "Where exactly did you learn how to write?""My father is a record keeper.""Most record keepers use Audiopens.""My father says the written way is the way that keeps it going through time. Heaven forbid servers crash.""The servers will never crash!" It got silent for the longest time as the wind blew in the background. "I like you Aurum, so invested in technology, so believing. So very influenced. And how old are you?""Five.""Only two years younger than me and still he is under the influential belief that everything lasts forever.""That is not true, nothing lasts forever.""So then what will you do when the servers crash?""I will try to fix them and start them again.""Yes and when you are done chasing a dream what then will you do?" I could not reply to him after that. I stood there staring at him with a look of pain as he put a hand on my shoulder, "I have to leave now, is it possible for you to come back here tomorrow at this time again?" What else did I have to do? "Sure." I spoke as he held a thumbs up to me and waved. Walking away slowly as he kicked a tree on his way out. Who knew a seven-year-old could change me into the person I am today. --------- Introduction Complete.---Characters Olibanum and Aurum unlocked---Secondary Characters list added. ---Tulip and Giuda added to Secondary character list
I really wish I understood the joke. I really do but I don't so I am just sitting here... staring at the file still unmoving. I should have cut and paste.
Well, I never really thought about it. When I meet someone for the first time I talk at first like I will only see that person one time in my life and never actually say my name unless they introduce their name first, during first conversation. If I see the person again I usually ask for their name from the person themselves. If I cannot find them, then I ask people who they were. I think I do this mainly because I like to label people by their personality first, not by their name or their appearance. So I always try to introduce in a nice way, and if the person isn't shy, I crack a joke or something(not a morbid joke usually something involving the moment.)
I could never say which I preferred because like others are saying, friends are friends. If I had to list my friends in a top 10 list number 1 is offline and number 2 is online. I cannot say a preference because both are preferred and at the same time can be hated. I don't want this to sound evil but the advantage of having an online friend is that if I do not want to talk to them that day I can shut off my I.M. However the advantage of having an offline friend is that they can physically be there for me. I actually try my best not to split my friends up though, because both irl and online friends are important to me and keep me going throughout the day and I do not prefer one over the other. I am going to expand better on the advantages though because I kind of made online friends sound useless. An online friend is able to talk to people about things you couldn't talk about with someone you knew. It also opens you up to different age groups and you can learn so many different things from an online friend. An offline friend is able to be there with you physically when you need someone there(although I know a couple of online friends who would be ready to drive out and help me if needed I am not kidding.) There is also just a different feeling when talking to an online vs and offline friend, both make you feel good, but in different ways. I am not someone who could cry in front of a lot of my offline friends, but when talking about something that pains me I am not afraid to cry while typing to an online friend. I hope I am understood, sorry if I confused at all.

It has been 7 minutes remaining for the past 3 hours...
--- iPod Shuffle --- Mood: Somewhat Sad --- Outfit--- Day 2 --- Location: Hospital--- She zoned out for the most part within the E.R. Aislin just didn't want to have to deal with everything at that moment. When they pulled her in a room they took off her oxygen mask slowly and told her to breath. After a minute they put it back on. After another minute they took it off again, then waited 10 minutes before putting it back on her. It turned out they were getting her adjusted to the real air, although her throat hurt it was slowly becoming easier to breath without the oxygen mask. Aislin was told about how her burns were nothing to worry about and they told her to drink plenty of water. One of the last things they did before leaving her alone was they gave her a pill and told her to try and stay awake for as long as she could until her body felt a numbness to it. At first she found it easy, but then slowly became bored. One of the books they had on the side table peaked her curiosity as she opened it up and read it. A nurse came in to check up on her with a pitcher of water and a cup and asked her what she was reading. Aislin turned the book over and pointed to her throat for a moment before she whispered, "I really don't know, it's called The Girl in Watercolors." The nurse kept casual conversation for a while, saying something about her loving the book and such on. Aislin at that point did not care and after the woman left she no longer could keep a grip on the book. She turned the television across her room on and watched the News until she fell asleep in the bed.
The MP3 isn't working for me. -sniffle- I like the picture though
--- iPod Shuffle --- Mood: Confused --- Outfit--- Day 2 --- Location: Ambulance/Hospital--- Aislin kept trying to insist she could walk herself in rather than have them pull out a wheel chair and roll her in there, but no one was listening to her. She was getting sick of all the control and attempted to rip off her oxygen mask when they weren't focused on that. When it was off she found everything horrid to breath and all of her pain rushed into her body at once. The medics put the mask back on her and as she was pushed into the emergency ward she finally had a good look at herself. Her legs were horribly burned, one part of her leg so bad she didn't even want to look at it. She looked at her free falling hair and saw the burns on the tips. She felt her back start to hurt and her face felt hot. Eventually she allowed the medics to just take over and she stopped struggling for control.
--- iPod Shuffle --- Mood: Confused --- Outfit--- Day 2 --- Location: Ambulance--- Aislin heard a soft ringing at first which caused her to stir. Then she started to hear a siren slowly get louder and louder, to the point she forced herself to open her eyes. She looked around and gathered she was in an ambulance and was about to whisper 'oh no' until she noticed she had an oxygen mask on her face. The EMT in there with her asked her to lie down, they had an expression on their face that attempted to not convey emotion. If she had asked them if she would be okay a smile would have appeared on their face to calm Aislin down, because its just what professionals do. Aislin tried to recall how she ended up in there. She recalled a fire, but normally Aislin would have run. Did the fire end up circling her? If so why was she still alive? She came to the assumption she went into shock or the smoke got to her first. "Great..." Aislin coughed a bit before she continued softly. "Sooooo wanted that to happen during my second day of camp."
thirrrrrty fooooouuuuur
--- iPod Shuffle --- Mood: Adventurous --- Outfit--- Day 2 --- Location: North Woods--- Aislin listened partially to the group as she scanned her flashlight around. She stayed nearby the group but figured they would not find anything and would be spray paint targets before they even got the chance if she didn't start looking for things at that moment. Periodically she would stop and look over at the group to see if anything was going on, then she would continue doing her thing. Eventually she shined her flashlight deeper into the woods. She turned around and looked over at the group, "While you all stand around I am going more south into the woods." Aislin grinned mischievously as she crept into the woods. She made sure not to go too far away so she would know where they were. .Eventually Aislin pointed her flashlight up one of the smaller trees. She reached out her hands to feel for anything that could be up in the branches.
32 No not really I was just in class at the time
