Medically and to the advancement of technology, I say yes to it. It can give us an easier way of fighting against organ donning(sp?), like you said. But I disagree on a simple level, though. One is that this is a rather nasty procedure to go through, since we could have way more than we need to keep up for future use. For example, what if in 100 years we have many of these clones, and then we figure out we have NO WHERE to put them? Or even dispose of them? That is one of the things that is concerned with this, unfortunately. And I agree that it is very bad for us. Another thing is the morality of this. I find it quite paining to do it and it does not seem right to some extent. However, morality can't be mixed with scientific experimentation. It defeats the purpose of it and without this, we wouldn't even be alive today. - Because it would have been likely genetic error and virus intrusion could have been a contribution to extinction without scientific exp.
