Armor only protects you from getting hurt. Force of the Dog biting will still keep you away from him. As stated before, you could beimmune to getting hurt, but if someone was pushing you everytime you got close to them you wouldn't getting near them too often despite your immunity.

TNT and Nukes have a vector. Therefore they are deflected.
A nuke however DOES have a slim chance of suffocating the dog after the explosion, but this rarely happens as most people die from the radiation or explosion.
