Well when you die your muscles, blood, and everything else stop acting. That can be a reasonable explanation for why you could lose some weight. And besides, your body continues burning calories even minutes after death, which is another factor there. EDIT: To add on to that, Cin, because we think so differently, we all have different perceptions of a 'soul', thus the soul is indefinitely hundreds of different things, by what all of us think.

Period. :/ EDIT: Okay, I think I need to explain this... Evolution is what? Evolution is the advance over a LARGE amount of time. We as humans, are said to have evolved from apes. First homonids, homo habilis, homo erectus, then homo sapiens (correct me if I was wrong). It clearly shows that we have evolved from a lower or close ancestor to the apes. Over that course of time, we discovered new inventions, new THINGS for us to thrive on. We figured out how to farm, and even how to produce our processed goods and even TRADE. Without trade, evolution would lose at least 1/8 of it's theory. But in my opinion, it's not EVEN a theory. It's fact. Otherwise they wouldn't teach you about it as realistically as they do in schools. Because I know for religion and myth it's all belief, so they are commonly saying things like "according to the belief's", whereas with evolution from small creatures it is absolutely proven. It was not more than about 5 months ago scientists even discovered a smaller HOBBIT like creature. This is reshaping our knowledge of human understanding; evolution alone. Evolution isn't restricted to humans, it has come this way for everything. Again, I say it, a large change over a large amount of time. Compare the prehistoric ages to now. You will see what I mean.
Well I would think that because we are mere beings of matter, that our cells would literally cease to function (our brain, heart, etc..). Though, I KNOW there has to be reincarnation...because there's not a reason why we could just end our lives. There has to be more--after death. Like maybe our universe takes us somewhere else... :/ Hard to determine. I'd say I do believe in it.

Well for one; people in our history of man have been making predictions and grave dates FOR the end of the world. Remember when the world was supposed to end on Dec. 31st, 2000? Did that happen? No. It was also expected to end in 1992, which also never happened. So I would absolutely fail to believe that this is going to happen. Space can't be predicted this way. The only real explanation is the super nova of our sun. Which isn't at least for another 3 billion years. Rule of life: Never make a judgement about something you don't know. It's profound and impossible to determine your statement, anyway.
