Kaida watched the interaction between the people of this world, very amused by how things seemed to go. She leaned an elbow against the tree as she sat on the branch as she listened to Maximus seem to be tamed by Rapunzel. She was so consumed in listening that when she heard a question asked, she was confused. Then she noticed the princess looking directly at her and her eyes widened. Kaida just seemed to stare at her for a moment and tried to figure out how she was caught so easily. She moved her hand up to her head and felt her head. Her hood was down. Oh no. Kaida looked at the group of people and shouted back, "He's not my horse. But his name is Maximus. He is a guard... horse." She looked around and the group of people, particularly at the outsiders, and help up a hand in hello and let out a small chuckle over the fact she was caught, "Hey there..."

Kaida found it easier to hear them the closer they got, but they seemed to be quarreling more than getting along. Not that she found that odd, she'd seen that happen more than she'd like. She just knew things didn't usually work out well when they went that way. One of the three mentioned a place called the Snuggly Duckling, and how they were taking Rapunzel there. If she wasn't going with them, Kaida would have let it slide. She wanted to know why these people were here and what their purpose was. But she felt less and less comfortable with running out in the open and calling them out. Kaida continued to follow the group, still maintaining her hiding space in the trees as they continued on.

But he did not appear to be that type of person. It did not matter. She wanted to be left alone and unfortunately because she was the volunteer she was of course getting the attention. Whatever. Rae Anne looked over at the rest in the room and responded, "Who exactly do you hope to look for? Look, I know you people all have friends, family, hell even just casual classmates you want to protect but-" She pointed over at the dark hallway and continued, "-when you are put in there, there is NOTHING you can truly do to protect them. You said it yourself James. Human instinct and just plain fear. Even the bravest kids in the school who think they are the shit couldn't." Rae Anne stood up quickly from her spot and spoke, "If you all want to go out there and chance being stabbed in the back, be my guest. We have flashlights. I am going to stay here no matter what you do."
Kaida was nervous when she thought she was sniffed out. How the heck was someone able to notice her movements in such a distracting environment. But, fortunately enough one of the people in the group seemed to shoot down the accusations. She held her hand up to her chest and let out a quiet sigh of relief before took a seat on one of the higher branches. She was covered by the leaves but she could still see all of the troublemakers, Maximus, and the princess. She was glad she had the brown robe on her, and she covered her hair with the hood to make sure there was nothing bright yellow standing out from her spot in the trees. She became more aware of her actions and tried to keep herself from being as suspicious as possible. At the same time, she wondered if the sudden decrease in activity was making her stand out. It did not matter to her quite yet.

Adam waited in silence for a response from the Kraken. Leviathan's lips curled into a smile and he sat himself up. "That's a neat trick." The angel dug a finger into his ear as he stood fully erect in front of Adam. "Making your voice the only thing I could hear, trying to influence me or something like that. Maybe if you hadn't tried calling my attention to you by using your powers earlier, it would've been more effective." He started to flick his finger, mockingly trying to get something off of it. "Well, you've got your own agenda, have you? Yeah, everyone has their own idea of what they want to do, but sadly, things usually never pan out the way they want them to. Not that it matters to me anyways. However, I'm becoming more and more interested in this agenda of yours. Just what are you hoping to do?" "Right now it is just to simply bring you back to your brother. After that? You do not have to know what I plan on doing after that, this is the most entertaining thing I have done since the last time I had to come up and be the fucking errand boy!" Adam, clearly showing Semyaza's aggravation at this point, ended the last part in a growl and spat in the other direction and wiped his mouth, "Errands, errands. I should not be the one doing this but everyone else your brother had that could be doing this instead is dead. But I will spare you the longer rant, who needs to hear that." Adam took a breath again and he seemed to lose energy again as he spoke clearly with a weaker energy suggesting Semyaza was no longer influencing him, "So what are you hoping to do?" "What do I want to do? Hmm... My hopes are much simpler than what you or everyone else wants. All I want or care about is revenge. Vengeance upon everyone who trapped me in that damned hole, and all of the angels that conspired to do so." He clenched his fist and spread his wings to emphasize his anger. "That's all. You happen to be one of those angels I'd like to get my revenge on." The Kraken placed his hand on Adam's head, grabbing hold of it. "I could kill you right here, right now. It could all be over for you in an instant." He took a moment to contemplate whether or not to do it. "But," The monster started as he pulled his hand away from him. "I've taken an active interest in you, now. You have an agenda that I want to know about. Call it a nagging need to know about everything that interests me, but I really do want to see what you've got planned. I'll go along, as much of a pain as it is for me to follow anyone else but my brother." He cracked his knuckles with a gleeful expression on his face. "And pray that whatever you have planned doesn't piss me off." Adam managed barely a smile before he spoke, "Alright then, might as well head now as opposed to later." Adam heard footsteps behind him and turned to see Ahranna appear and spoke, "That was remarkably good timing." The three got down off of the building first before Ahranna opened up the ground and the staircase appeared. Adam waited for the other two to go down first before he felt a sharp pain in his head. I do not like him. He has no reason to have any need for revenge against me. He gets free, he still has wings, he still had freedom. I was imprisoned for years before I got my wings taken away from me against my will. How dare he... how dare he... Calm down... You have no right to tell me to calm down!
