Well yeah. I'm fine with japanese text... Though I'm VERY slow on translating. I crammed it all in so fast I kinda forgot maybe a fourth of them; on top of that I also can't remember some of them. There are a good 100 that I remember perfectly still...like mountain, river, water, fire, etc.. Simple things. Hopefully that will be an advantage. Though it's hard.
I know Katakana, as well as Hiragana. And like 600+ or so Kanji. I taught myself over the summer just for this occasion. xD
