Mickey --- He has had one since the beginning. He got one because after he found out that worlds were starting to die away, he had to go find the keyblade to help lock them from the heartless. So he ventured to Kingdom Hearts and obtained it--then sending a letter to Donald and Goofy telling them (well more like left it behind) to go find the Keyblade weilder and stick close to him. Riku --- He was the original keyblade master. It WOULD have chosen him if he hadn't plunged into the darkness in destiny islands. Then after that it chose Sora who didn't want to stay in the dark, and he happened to be more purest of heart at the time. Hope it helps. Actually, no. You're wrong. They BOTH have the keyblade. The reason they BOTH have a keyblade is because it takes two keyblades to lock Kingdom Hearts, like they did at the end of KH1. And for the record, 'Kingdom Key' is not a keyBLADE--the Kingdom Key is just the keychain that Sora's keyblade uses--as well as Mickey's.

That's ENTIRELY off topic. Anyway, yeah, I agree, rat. That knight is alive. And upon closer inspection of the video I saw that it wasn't his arm/hand that got chipped off on the cliff--it was his keyblade.
