I've had three for a w-... There's 11 total possible gems you can get. You get 1 every time you get 100 rep points. 1-99, one gem, 100-199, 2 gems, etc...etc... It's really easy to get more gems. Just gotta get loads of rep. Unfortunately, getting lots of rep over a long period of time will actually decrease your total rep power. ):
