Ratchet and Clank overall has little flaws. It's made with high creativity since it's Insomniac. I pretty much disagree with the guy.
It lacks color and overall vibrancy. Text is large and in-charge. I'd tone it down, and smudge it a little to blend it better. Is it at all possible to find a smaller stock of this? lol Like Ichi's whole body or something? Anyway, work on effects and color. Lighting is also very strange. The effects aren't really supposed to be foreshadowed like you did there.
