Demyx arched his eyebrow of what Xemnas meant by "quality bonding time." He backed up a few steps, but remained in the same area. "What do you mean by that and who do you think would be the traitor?" He felt like butterflies were in his stomach, but continued to stand his ground.
(OOC: Divine_Lunatic, fire mage got the impression that Saix did speak to Axel which was on page 24. That is why Axel spoke to Saix, as for my character, Demyx he is waiting for Xemnas to speak, has thoughts about what had happened earlier with Larxene and since Axel spoke to him, then he will respond accordinly. I don't want to ignore people's posts who are in character.) Demyx looked up and was started by Axel's quick response. It had caught him off guard and he had to fabricate something up so Axel would not be suspicious. It's not that Demyx did not trust Axel, it was just since Axel was higher in command and than he was, the situation looked bleak and not promising to admit the truth in front of the all members that were present. The last thing Demyx was going to do was slit his own throat or literally get himself maimed or killed by Xemnas. He knew Larxene and himself did cause the superior great distress and their childish actions did not go unpunished so if he were to come forward and confess his earlier inhumane, cruel and out of nature stunt that he pulled earlier, it would send a red flag to the whole organization and his punishment would come swiftly. Taking time to ponder of what he was going to say, Demyx thought carefully and knew Axel was one of the least patient nobodies with a violent temper to match. The nocturne imagined what kind of violent act, his superior would unleash upon his underling. Closing his eyes slightly and directing his attention to the other side of the room, Demyx spoke in a nonchalante manner hoping Axel would take his words as they were and not dig furthur to discovering the truth. His words would decide if he could pull off this act of deception or not. "Was I pointing at her? I didn't realize I was," he lied keeping up the playing dumb routine. "I needed to stretch since we've been here for who knows how long and I'm bored out of my mind waiting to be answered. I could be on my third verse of playing my sitar by now if I wasn't stuck here," his hands tapped his arm rests again as he adjusted his posture from his slouching postiton in order to stretch for a few minutes before returning to his same laid back posture. Demyx thought to himself if his explanation was convincing or not or did he need to be dramatic to put Axel's attention else where rather than on him? He decided the latter for he would appear as annoying which would make the flurry of dancing flames mind his own business or cause him to peer at one of the other members like the silent Lexaues or the scheming Xigbar who could not be trusted as far as Demyx could throw him. Saix also fit into that category. None of them should never discover his hidden secret. Becoming more aggiatated, the melodious nocturne raised his voice, leaning forward as he spoke of what was on his mind and how he felt at that moment. "I'm bored out of mind here. Cut me some slack. I have to entertain myself some how. I'm not allowed to play my sitar here you know." Surely that outburst would be more than enough to end the charade.
Demyx wandered over towards Xemnas and told me the truth. "No I don't," he shuddered wondering what would happen to him. "Where are the others?"
I would like to play as Demyx please.
To answer your question Sho, his somebody could of been which would explain his musical nature. Remember the nobody is only a shell of their formal self that was turned into a heartless therefore the nobody is entirely a different and another individual that has a body and a spirit with no heart. It all comes down to a matter of opinion based on what we know, but I feel Demyx at one time was friends with Roxas, but because Roxas betrayed them, Demyx concluded that the thirteenth member was the enemy of the organization and given the orders by Xigbar saying what the superior said was the absoulute final ruling, Demyx had no choice, but to comply otherwise it would of most likely been betrayal and then turned into a dusk or death of some unknown. I believe he did feel like he had a heart, and was very misunderstood by all, but all it came to surival and I'm sure he had his own intentions like every other nobody had. I hope that the newest game 358/2 days does explain more about his character and therefore we all will know the facts of who he truly is and what his true intentions are.
Nicely stated,*TwilightNight* but I disagree with your list only because you you should of added more of the elements. Fire is one of the most destrucitve forces of nature that could kill anyone instantly. Just thinking about the embers of the flames flying onto the skin would cremate you in a matter of minutes depending on the intense heat of the flames. The carbon dixoide of the smoke would leave internal damgage *take it from someone who experienced it and lives with it* that could cause permanant disability. Let's take this into consideration of Sora and Roxas. Roxas whom fought Axel was surrounded with a wall of flames no where to run and he couldn't and wouldn't jump over them for the heat would be so intense that one would fall and be ash. With Axel's dangerous weapons and his violent personaility, Roxas or Sora *in COM* would of never stood a chance. Let's also take into consideration, that Axel had the ground that Roxas stood on practically on fire, for Roxas was standing on hot embers and if that were not enough, Axel was disappearing in and out of the flames causing more damage. In reality if one stood on hot embers the soles of your shoes would melt and you would eventaully be set ablaze and then turned into ash. Another deadly element is water. Can you imagine the force of what water could cause to the human body? And that is said without discussing the temperature of the water. With such pure intensity Sora would of never stood a chance by Demyx's attacks. Demyx clearly summoned his element without playing his sitar since he was calling forth for his weapon that had not appeared yet.The clones of the water that Demyx manipulated with his sitar were bodies of pure energy that did cause Sora damage, but because there were so many of them, they could of easily formed into one body and could cause him to drown. Once water gets into your lungs, it is the most agonizing tedious and frightening experience for it feels like you are slowly dying. *Yes I have almost drowned before and can relate* Not only does Demyx have the water clones attack, but he also comes at Sora with onslaught of force from his water jets propeling him across the screen to his mighty streams of water bursting up from the ground, it makes you wonder how could Sora surive all that? And to scientifically explain that, the water for it to cause those occurances, the temperature with standard pressure would have to be at 100celsius or 212 ferenheit thus becoming a vapor or a gas. With that much heat and pressure an individual's organs would be crushed with such force causing ruptures and fatal blows and the temperature would cause all the layers of the skin tissue to instantly at first peel, and then literally fall off. It would be as having your hand or your body in boiling water. Just the vapors of the steam would instantly knock you out and let's not imagine it being sprayed at you with the pressure of a fire hose or worse. To make matters worse, his bubbles that burst over Sora's head are enough to knock him out for the excessive forth of the magnitude of the pressure of the skull would crack and cause severe head injury or death. What makes his element deadly besides all of those attacks, are the intensity that he uses his sitar to control the tempo of the music that controls the water and the use of the weapon of itself swinging it around like a bo and lunging at Sora like a sword. Combine all of those different attacks, you have instant death with no chance of survival.
J.D.129, no not at the time, but she will get them before the conventions of next year start. They have to be light weight for it will be physically exhausating carrying them all day long. Thank you for all your views and opinions for they all do support facts and specualate the unknown. The reason why I figured out that Demyx has this "true darker side" is because of the mention and clues of the game's message of nobodies and the heart by Master Yin. Master Yin said to Sora that nobodies don't have hearts threfore can't react from feelings. He also mentioned for him not to be fooled by them for it a ruse. Sora was playing right into Demyx's game for he was being tricked by his friendly outgoing personaility, but it was his friends mainly Goofy that reminded him of Master Yin's warning that made Sora realize Demyx was deceiving him. Demyx tries one more time trying to bring doubt and confusion to Sora by saying that he and the organization did have hearts and not to be angry about that they do. *Summary of the quote which was actually, "Oh we do to have hearts. Don't be mad." Donald tells him they can't be tricked and with that said Demyx closes his eyes almost in defeat wishing there was another way by his clear body expression and turns abruptly around, his whole demeanor changing revealing his true colors. For his eyes have changed narrowing to slits when before they never have to my knowledge. That clearly is a huge give away that he was forced to fight and is most likely the reason why he is strong, is in the organization and had hatred for Roxas at the moment commanding the traitor to be silent. Perhaps his somebody was bipolar and had ADD *attention defecit disorder* which could explain Demyx having two sides of one body and one mind, both powerful, dangerous, yet naive and understanding.
Demyx searched the ship and thought of where he could be. He had to be some where on the ship, but how could the musician go unnoticed of seeing his friend without Saix or Xemnas knowing he left the area where the prisoners were. Making up his mind, Demyx ran to one of the cabins and swung the door open, and closed it behind him. "Axel," he ran over to him and accidently knocked him out of the hamock, I have got to tell you about what is going on," he frantically spoke catching his breath. "You're the only one I can trust," he helped Axel off the floor and dusted him off. "Sorry about that," taking a step forward he made sure the no one was near the door before he told his friend everything that has happened to him. "You won't believe this. I found some treasure on the island and I didn't know that it was Xemnas's. I used my powers to get it here unnoticed, but Saix found it and I think the boss knows that I took it. Saix knows though and he told me that the treasure turns adults into young teenagers and young adults and teens into young children. I was forced to join him otherwise he would of used the treasure to make me act like a kid, but I know that's mutiny and I'm scared that the captain will find out everything I've done. What am I going to do?" his breathing was heavy and he wanted to cry. "I need your help buddy."
Cloud shook his head making sure all the kinks were out of his neck. "No I wasn't going anywhere. I had just fought Sephiroth and I thought I could defeat him once and for all, but I failed again," with his motorcycle upright, a feeling of dread washed over him like a wave upon the shore. "I knew it was to good to be true," he walked away brooding and full of hatred. "I'll get him. One day we'll settle it." Cloud crossed his arms and flinched from the pain that he still felt from his battle earlier. Demyx felt more at ease now that Axel had lowered his flame. His element often clashed with the other and so did their tempers. Axel was fire, his tendacies were rash and explosive yet there was some beauty behind the flames and how their patterns danced, burning anything in their sight. Demyx's water compared in comparsion for it could also be deadly, yet wonderous and full of life. The elements could constantly clash and it didn't matter whose was stronger for what determined the victor of the battle was how the fighters fought using their special techniques and cognitive stragedies. Without a doubt, Demyx knew Axel was the strongest and best fighter for the flurry of dancing flames savored every moment until the battle was won. What was the point of fighting someone who always won? The musician sighed nodding his head so Axel would leave him alone about fighting. "He just wants to humilate me and rub it in my face, but he'll be surprised for I won't go down that easy," he made up his mind to himself. "Axel, we'll fight, but don't try to kill me like you did last time. I wasn't of any use to the boss that week," he warned his friend.
(OOC: I was so tense today and I was actually told to have an alcoholic drink and that it would help me relax so I had a black russian that turned into a white russian. It was really good.) Demyx eyed Saix who was next to him, but on the right and above. He cringed at the snide remark Saix snapped at Axel. "What is his problem? Why is he so rude to Axel all the time?" He became lost in his thoughts and did not notice the other members were still waiting for Xemnas to reveal his plan. He looked to his left and rose his eyebrow that Marluxia was not present and normally he would never miss any meetings. "Where is he?" Drumming his fingers and feeling like his patience was running out, he began to swing his legs hoping that action would send some message that he was bored and could hardly wait to get out of there. Remembering what Xemnas said, he rose his left hand in the air hestiantly feeling sure of what he was going to ask to be a foolish question. His sudden movement caused all the members who were present to look at him that made him close his eyes slightly and want to disappear out of the room. Why was he always the last to know anything especially if it was vital to the organization? Keeping his arm up for what seemed to be the longest thirty seconds in history, fatigue crept in that caused him to lower his arm and place it back on his armrest. "No I don't remember?"Could you explain what is going on again?" he shuddered a bit in his seat. Demyx waited patiently for his response while starring at the other members once again as he wondered what they were possibly thinking. His main concern was what Larxene was conjuring up in her head. With that fateful memory of his attack to her fresh in his mind, he began to shiver and hugged himself in order to keep warm. How he wished that he never confronted her followed by a physical assault? "But she deserved it," he kept saying to himself in his mind. "At least she knows that I can fight back." His gaze studied her posture that sparked his interest for by appearance she looked harmless and one would never guess that she was one of the most venomous, and cruelest nobobies imaginable. "Why is she so cruel and how could she not enjoy the harm I caused her? I thought she liked pain. What am I not getting?" Lost in his thoughts about her, it became more clear that he had to talk to her before she exposed his secret. Thinking quickly he tried to get her attention by using hand gestures that weren't to noticeable. He swung his hand into the air and pointed in her direction, bringing back his hand to the back of his head. These motives were going to harder than he thought.
I'll be Demyx please.
Demyx wondered where Axel was and he still needed to talk to him about everything that has happened to him. He ran up to the upper level of the ship in search for Axel. Xemnas is going to have to wait. "Axel where are you?"
I can't stand snobs what so ever. They are the most fetish, fake, immature, paranoid and down right rudest individuals you could ever meet. Girls are the worst in that category especially with their annoying laughs if you could call it that. They think the world is coming to an end when *girls* break a nail and they wouldn't know what a real problem was if it hit them smack in the face.
I might not be on tonight since it is Halloween, but I'm going to send you something in a private message.
Yeah I'm still dressed as him. You see it's only 5pm where I'm at so it's not even dark yet, but it is getting there.
(OOC: Thank you.) Demyx approached Xemnas who was at the Alter of Naught watching hearts. "There he goes again," he sighed. "I wonder if he knows I'm even here? I bet he does," he thought to himself
Here is a image of me cosplayed as Demyx from Comic Con. I'm also dressed as him for Halloween. My sister is dressed up as Axel.
(OOC: Ok on my end, to sum it up Kairi and Cid are in the brig cause they were caught by Axel and Sora tries to rescue her, but fails so he heads back to the island. Xemnas tries to fool Kairi into thinking he's not evil, but Kair doesn't trust him. Demyx went over to the island in search for treasure, discovered it and with the use of his powers *water clones* carried it back to the ship underneath the water unnoticed and under the ship. Xemnas found out about his hidden treasure, but didn't know who took it. He has an idea though and ordered Demyx to feed Kairi and Cid after being called in to his quaters. The two prisoners are hiding behind boxes in the brig so not to be noticed. Demyx brings the food to them and encounters Saix who says the treasure can turn adults into young teenagers and teenagers into kids and knows that he took it. Demyx is skeptical at first and agrees to join him so now he listens to both of them hoping Xemnas doesn't find out. Riku is on the island in search of his friends not knowing where they went.) Demyx took a step back and almost bit his bottom lip. He knew he would be a dead man if the captain were to discover that he took the treasure and that he was now listening to Saix who wanted to overthrow him. "My life just got worse," he gripped his head with his hands and closed his eyes feeling sorry for himself.
Yeah thanks for asking.
I don't think the hair color really matters which is why I chose neither.
