I completely agree with those quotes.

Another thing I'd like to point out is the platonic life-style that I mentioned earlier. Some Christians don't know/believe this, but the fact is we are still in the age of Plato to this day. Everyone views things on evidence rather than, the said "blind faith" in something. Very few philosophers in this day-and-age have started to go beyond the things that Socrates and Plato have created and thought of. Because during their time the things they thought of were beyond this world and are the basis of what shapes 95% of Christianity. In truth, Christians are almost pagans in some ways because of the philosophies they follow. lol (please no one flame me for that <_<)

lol twisted in the head? Do you think they chose to be gay? They are born with that thought, not provoked to believe it.
You are a fool for neglecting homosexual's so blindly. They are not twisted, nor brave. They are human and normal. At least to them, they are normal.
    Define weird plz. lol
No. You have your science and mechanics wrong completely. They are born gay, in some very rare cases some people provoke it because they are curious about their sexuality. I have naturally gay friends and some newly gay friends. Learn your subjects, please. I'm not trying to be mean but wow. You gotta rethink your logic a little.
    LOL. Keep telling yourself that.

EDIT: For the record, Sanda. He isn't ignorant. Just unknowing.

    That is all? That's ALL?

Don't ever plan on coming back here again unless you're ready to handle things maturely.

Rationally and verbally attacking people is wrong. Especially here.

Be glad you aren't permanently banned from the intel. forum.

The_King. I'm at the end of the rope with you.

If you don't stop this kind of thing:
    I will suspend you.

Grow up and stop being ignorant. This is debate, not "I win, you lose. Go die".

    Thank you.

Well then I guess God's and Jesus' attempts to convince you to be a good Christian and love your fellow man regardless of his sins has failed.

ON TOPIC: I'd say Hitler wouldn't go to heaven.

    Pundintry, indeed.

And I'll thank you for not being a belligerent, smart-mouthed member. This is the debate forum. Allow yourself to prove your belief's (as that is the purpose) through 'logical' and 'polite' means.

If you continue smart mouthing like that you will be warned. Debating, arguing and attacking are three completely different things. Learn what they are please.

Back on topic, if you guys would.

Uh yes. It was. This is not a "is it real or not" thread. It's a "discuss your opinions and MATURELY show consideration" kind of thread. I'm pretty sure you lack those important values.

lol. Clearly you didn't grasp the concept I laid out for you.

uh, no. lol wtf. I'm actually have the utmost respect for people who give me respect. I'll respect you first, if you don't respect back, you get a harsh argument. One that obviously you, would misinterpret.

    Lol define "personal issues" please.

Do you even know what bigot means?

It's someone who is intolerant of another persons point of view.

Did I ever say Christianity was bull**** in my post? No. Did I say it a load of ****? No. I may think it is but I don't ravage around saying it is.

You are the bigot if anything, completely shunning MY point of view by calling ME the bigot.

Please note this is not a relevant post so don't respond to it. Just let it soak in.

Recently I've been talking to my mom who's a HUGE philosophy major and she was talking about this certain topic.

Christians, while major disapproving of Darwinism and Evolution, have many fears. They are in fact, philosophically the exact same thing as Evolution and Darwin. A person who thrives to drive forward in search of something greater (in this case, the allegory "truth"). This in fact scares most Christians, driving them to try as much as they can to disapprove evolution. By using rational and physical evidence, many scientists and evolutionists can prove MANY, MANY things about the earth that are believed to be true. However, this also applies to Christians. They drive forward, in great search of truth and salvation, also using rational and logical proof to show that God exists.

Often times I hear Christians say "WE'RE HERE TO SAVE YOU AND PROVE TO YOU GOD EXISTS" (exaggerated). First of all, you're no better than any Atheist in existance. Using 'proof' to make you seem correct. As if you have proof? God is a figure of knowledge, prosperity and wisdom. In no way can a person DESCRIBE God. For all you know, he's towers high. A familiar example of this is Pigs. What if pigs had a pig god? Would that pig be huge or small? No one would know because they'd have to wait and find out AFTER.DEATH. There's a difference between acting like you know, knowing, and telling people the truth.

Now. Atheists, too, are in the wrong. Both sides of these groups have the exact same problem. Like I said, they use 'proof' and 'evidence' to show they are right. While Evolution seems to be right with it's proof that is actually physical, there's no reason to shun the possibility of God's existence, as many of you know. Jesus was said to be a human, but looking at the real evidence one can easily say he never lived. This 'evidence' is what makes atheists look just like Christians. They proclaim they are constantly correct when in fact they have no clue what they are talking about.

Moving onto another topic, faith. Faith is not "I believe so I am saved". No. That is not it. Christianity does not have to demand evidence of God if it has faith. Believing, knowing and having faith are COMPLETELY different. Having faith is the ability to cast your life in danger and even to possible death, knowing that you think you're correct (in your opinion). Faith does not require evidence, you Christians. Stop proving God's existence. If you're loyal to God and want to show him you care, don't praise, don't worship, don't offer. Just live. The thing is, is that you can't believe in yourself that you are 100% correct, be a good Christian and don't argue.

Again, Atheists argue with Christians on the debate of "IT'S NOT REAL". A true Christian, IMO, would never argue with the power of the lord. Instead he would say "I don't want to argue. I don't know what is out there, I'm not dead. I just have faith and believe that there is something."

    Let the discussion begin!

Well you're Christianity is a belief. I don't believe in it, so why do I follow something I don't believe in?

It's not fair to human beings. I was not insulting you. I was not insulting anyone. if you don't like the way I said something PM me, don't yell at people on the forum. This is intelligent, not roll around and use capital letters while trying to think you're smarter than me by forcing your letters down my throat.

Read the sticky in this section. All view points apply. Don't misinterpret the way I post by automatically assuming I'm shunning you.

    Calm down, man. =/

I wasn't insulting anyone. This is the debate corner. Can't I come to a disagreement and ask others for explanations?

EDIT: And for the record, I am not a bigot. I actually do have faith.
