Yeah, I don't think there are any plays for those. This is the part. I have to post the first part up for you to understand the part that is so funny and akward. The akward part starts when Esther screams 'No!' Rose: [with distaste] Chicken hearts. Kate: [as she starts out] And what you have in mind, I can't imagin. [Goes out R.] Rose: Es-you're not going to do anything so silly? Esther (that's me! XD): [coming in front of settee] I certainly am. And you promised too. Ida: [crossing over to Esther, with Rose] You're going to swallow it whole? Esther: I am. Ida: But no one believes in that anymore. Rose: It's the most foolish thing I ever heard of. Esther: [defiantly] Grandpa says its true. When you swallow a chicken heart, you marry the next man you shake hands with. He says that's how great Aunt Martha came to marry great Uncle Herbert. Rose: But suppose someone awful was to show up? Esther: I'd just crawfish out of shaking hands. [Holding up a chicken heart] Here goes- Rose: Es! Esther: I vow solemnly to marry the next man I shake hands with. [Pops heart in mouth and swallows quickly and hard.] Ida: I never saw anything so calm in my life. Esther: It went down like a big capsulke. Rose: I'd never do anything so childish. Esther: You're just afraid that John Shephard wouldn't be the first boy to shake hands with you. Rose: [tossing her head] He'd be the last. Esther: [indicating saucer] I don't see why you're so scared. Rose: [scornfully] I'm not the least bit afraid of anything so nonsensical. [And with that she pops the other heart in her mouth and swallows very hard.] There. Ida: [apprehensively] Now you've done it. Rose: It doesn't mean the least thing. [There's a knock at the door off UL] Esther: Oh gosh! Ida: Better let me answer. It's safer. {crosses out UL and opens the dopr; then pops her head in UL again.] Fred Gregory. Esther: No! [backs away toward DR] [Fred Gregory, a good looking boy, enters UL.] <---- My friend plays this part. xDDD Fred: [holding out his hand] Hello, Miss Boothy. [They shake hadns, and he crosses to Rose] Rose: [her hands behind her back] Hello, Fred-[waving him on toward Esther]-Es was just talking about you. Fred: [holding out his hand to her, delighted] You were? What did you say? Esther: [her hands behind her back] I was not. Fred: [his hand out] Well, Miss Esther?... Esther: No---I cant! Go away, Fred Gregory. Go away, I'm warning you. Fred: [hurt] Why---have I don something wrong? Esther: No but--- Fred: If I have, i'm sorry. Rose: [tautingly, with a smile] Really Es---where are your manners? Fred: [looking down at his outstretched hand] You know, I wouldn't do anything to offend you, and if I have, I apologize. Esther: [quickly] Oh, you haven't done anything wrong, but--- Fred: [hurt] Won't you even shake hands with me? Esther: [weakly, holding out her hand] I guess I can't help it---[Fred shakes her hand firmlym and a smile grows on her face]--but don't say I didn't warn you, [Fred grins at her, too, as they continue to hold hands.] That part was so awkward when we rehearsed it. My friend and I were dying from laughter afterwards. xDD
It's just really funny...and awkward. xD I'll see if I can find the script online, cause I left my script at school.
I have the second most lines in my play. I show up in all 3 acts. I have like almost 200 lines. Oh, and there's this one part...oh gosh...xDDDDD
My friends in school are always random. They're the reasons why I smile so much. =D

Something else we have in common! OUr birthdays take place on big test days! D: I'm going to rent the movie, just to see what was added into/taken out of the movie script. Oh really? Well, if you need any renders or anything, I could give you some. I cut out most of my renders. We only had a week and two days off. D: I'm pretty sure the only days we have off this month is Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend.
