Now unlike Teliana, Zephyr wasn't all that knowledgeable on Witch Hunter, so he wasn't all that certain as to why she said that they would be in trouble. Well other than them being in cages. That was kinda a give away that they were here for tea and crumpets or whatever you want to call it. Hearing Bryce mention the skeleton using mage caught his interest, but he kept this to himself. Just what did they want with him? Then Teliana spoke, also mentioning the skeleton mage. She too apparently knew something about him and was willing to give up that information for his release. Zephyr wanted to know more about the mage too, but he didn't want anyone sacrifices themselves for him to get said information. The next sequence of events happens in a bit of a blur for Zephyr. One of the men that had arrived along with Milosh had walked into the cage that he was in and placed a pair of shackles on him. It didn't take long for him to feel the shackles limiting his magical ability to the point where he couldn't use them the way he wanted to. This certainly would make things problematic for him if not for a certain thing. Teliana had caused an explosion that had cause the perfect diversion. Part of him hated the fact that once again someone was risking their own lives for his own sake, but he wouldn't be able to return the favor if they both got caught. So he ran. Ran as far and as fast as he could. Kruez didn't even know that Tatiana had looked towards him during Vyle's freak out. Partly because of his lack of attention towards the whole this as well as it wasn't long before he simply just walked out and started wandering about. It'd taken long enough (and totally isn't Mok's fault) for him to get bored and thus started to do what he did best. Walk around til he found something til he found something else of interest. He'd taken a few steps away from where he left where he saw something out of the corner of his eyes. That something was Tatiana being dragged into an alley. This sight cause him to sigh. Part of him really wished that it was Derrick instead of her. That way he could at least pretend that he didn't see anything and keep to himself. Hell if Tatiana could actually handle things on her own he probably would do the same. But alas she couldn't, thus our current situation. "Ah fuck it." Having said that, he headed into the alley. "So a buff guy, a defenseless girl and a dark alley, I'm guessing you lack originality then." Sweallow was in the middle of looking through some notes when he heard his guest speak. He pressed his hand down on the page he had stopped on and turned his attention towards her. "Think nothing of it, I just did what I felt was right at the time." Despite being a Doppler, Sweallow thought differently from the more trouble causing dopplers. For example he'd chosen to study in the field of medicine so that he'd be able to help other should the situation arise, much like he running into the woman he was currently speaking with. "You don't need to pay me back, but I would like to know your name."
Zephyr had remained silent as they walked towards Lu's home. The silence wasn't out of trying to figure out just what was going on, but instead it was simply because he had nothing to say at the moment. Now for when they had arrived out her house, the first thing that came to mind was "Well then, not expecting this." Sure Lu did say that her family could shift like Johanna, but Zephyr had expected them to look human, not a mixture of human and animal. After the siblings had introduced themselves, Antonio spoke about taking them back to civilization in order to find out more about them. Now their being against the idea aside, couldn't one do the same thing while leaving them where they were? "Maybe we should give them some time to think about it before setting off, besides there's still the original reason we came here."
Veilen didn't move an inch as Veera poked him in the cheek with her sword. Fortunately she didn't break the skin when she did, but it still was a bit of an annoyance to feel it pressing against him. Veilen gently rubbed his cheek when he heard Veera mention something about a riot. He'd just gotten here a solid two posts again and there was a riot going on, just what had happened prior to his getting here. "Riot? What riot?" Veilen asked, following behind Veera.
Blue Flame Armament Clarent
Zephyr remained silent as sun's rays started to reach his face. Having spent a night had calmed him down somewhat. He was still annoyed at the situation he was in, but he wasn't gung ho about beating someone ass. Granted that could change depending on how the day went. Taking into account that he had been kidnapped and stuffed into a cage, it was still entirely possible that he'd punch someone in the face before the day was out. "Who are you?" Not expecting there to be anyone else around him, Zephyr turned his head to the side and saw the other person. "Zephyr and I don't know why we're here." He wasn't told a whole lot as to why there were here and thus had nothing to share. Which sucks given that there was little way of knowing what this was was leading to. One time skip to the next day later and Sweallow had successfully managed to bring Terra back to his residence and treat her stab wounds. With his skills in medical treatment (that totally wasn't BS'd) he's been able to treat her with ease. Now she rested n the guest cot. Kruez continued to follow behind Tatiana and Derrick, not much else for him to do.
Spoiler: Presenting another Zephyr banner, this time with a different image (Credit goes to X E R O for the image) Fortunately it didn't take as much effort to convince Lu not to attack them with her spear, nor her crocodiles. When she answered his questioned, stating that the only ones on this island were her friends and family, Zephyr glanced at the crocodiles. "So are those your friends then?" he was tempted to ask if they were her family, but that seemed a bit stereotypical to him. And then came the animals that she was apparently raised by. Alright then, quite the family she has then. Zephyr followed Lu's finger up towards the mountain. "I assume being up there offers some form of protection." Zephyr taking, taking a sheer guess at that. Veilen used Aerial
The stars were out in the night sky as Sieg sat on the edge on one of the many buildings that made part of the city. The lack of clouds made this a perfect night for the warlock to do his usually bit of star gazing. Other than that he wasn't really doing much to note. Most night when he was bored he would just star at the skies until he decided to leave. The building he'd chosen to sit on overlooked Pandemonium, a place in which he usually wasn't interested in what had happened there. This night would prove to be different though. There was quite the scene going on at Pandemonium right now. Sieg may not have known the full details about it, or any details about ti for that matter, but from the looks of things something had occurred here. Whatever that something was it had caught his interest and given him something else to observe for the time being. The first thing that he decided to observe were the too people who happened to be standing outside. Maybe that would say or do something that would give him some more insight. (More may be edited later, depends on if I remember or not)
It wasn't all that surprising that the trip to Oxenfurt was quiet as hell, since it wasn't exactly the most chatty group that was doing the traveling. A vampire had appeared at some point, but Kreuz didn't really pay much attention to what was being said between him and Derrick. All he got was that he was looking for some mage named Solomon, beyond that that didn't matter to him. Arriving in Oxenfurt, Kruez did the one thing that he could think of doing while Derrick looked for whoever it was that he was trying to find and that was buy something to drink. So the mage walked up to the bar and did just that. Needless to say (much to MoK's enjoyment) Zephyr was in a fowl mood. Not because he was left alone in the alley after Terra had fled, but at the fact that there was absolutely nothing he could've done to stop it. Zephyr hated being unable to do anything, being helpless. It was too close to how he felt back home where just about everyone was shunning him. Byakko soon vanished and he was the last person in the alley. "Dammit, still can't do shit." It was clear that he was beating himself up pretty harshly over this. Zephyr had taken a few steps out of the alley when he heard someone's voice. Well he wasn't in the mood to be dealing with other people, so he ignored the voice and continued walking in the opposite direction. Having felt something going around his neck, Zephyr was going to show whoever it was why it was a bad idea to mess with him while he's pissed, but some sort of cloth was placed over his nose and mouth. One surprised breath was all it took for him to start to feel weak, followed by his vision blurring. Soon afterward after went black for the young mage as he collapsed. When he came too he found himself in a cage, ankles chained to the ground with someone else on the other side of the cage. Well this certainly wasn't helping with his mood. "I take it you're the one who put me here." Zephyr said with some clear hostility in his voice. Still walking through WhiteOrchid, cause I'm pretty sure that's where i had placed him, Sweallow walked along the streets minding his own business. Least until a growing pool of blood and the source of said pool. An injured woman laid in the middle of the streets, bleeding out. It certainly was good for her that he had found her, though he didn't really have any means to treat to her wounds right now. He probably had something back at his home, but he needed to get her there before he could use them. Judging form the amount she was losing blood, there wasn't much time for him to waste. Moving as fast and as carefully as he could, Sweallow picked up the bleeding mage and carried her off to his home for treatment.
"That's fine by me." Gale followed behind Tessa as they moved to rejoin the others, there they saw *insert the appropriate number of titans here* roaming the bottom area. Well depending on just how many titans where there (which depends on how large the appropriate number of people are) this could be a difficult thing to do alone. Sure was a good thing that there was a fair number of them who could handle themselves. Oh, before I forget, Gale went to wherever Tessa had landed cause he did say that she could stick close to him.
For the carriage ride towards their destination and for the start of the fight against the giant spiders Lumen was asleep in the carriage. Nothing surprising, least for him anyway. He could fall asleep just about anywhere if he felt like it, least as long as there wasn't anything to interrupt him at least. That being said, sounds of battle going on outside the carriage counted as an interruption. The sounds of battle succeeded in waking the sleeping Lumen, who drowsily walked out the door wondering where all the noise was coming from. Needless to say, he was surprised to see the giant spiders that were around them. Well Conrad anyway, the others seemed to have a solid one spider surrounded. He drew his long sword and stepped fully out the carriage. With the power of his arcane magic, he fired an attack towards one of the spiders attacking Conrad. It had been awhile since Reitan's had to put in more than just a little bit of effort into a fight and to be honest he was enjoying himself. Part of the reason he acted the way he did was because he's hasn't had a real challenge in a fight, which makes sense since he was currently fighting a demi-god and it'd be a damn shame for the demi-gods if he could fight one them without putting in much effort. With his weapon currently being stuck in the ground and a lance heading for him again, Reitan did the one thing that he could think to do. That was to let go of his lance so that he could avoid the spear. Having avoided the spear, Reitan prepared for a counter attack, but he heard someone call out to him "Aster, Reitan, get aboard! Onamakritos, Zahariel, give them cover! David, once Ien is on board you do the same!" Give who cover? That became clear when he saw David toss Ien into the shuttle that had appeared. Oh, alright then. Reitan then took hold of his lance and pulled it from the ground. "See ya, nameless Demi-god." (Note, Mok is unaware whether or not Kalak actually said his name or not so I'm just going to assume he didn't). Having recovered his lance, Reitan headed towards shuttle and then boarded it.
Zephyr summons Kamaitachi
I'm still interested.
Well in a way, the wish for someone to run into him and help hide around town was granted. Though, the person he had bumped into now had her sword pointed towards him. That of course, not being a part of the plan. Not to mention the disgruntled sounds of people chasing behind her also caught his attention. Things certainly had taken an interesting turn, that much was for certain. "Of course it was an accident, I'm still trying to get use to this place." Veilen responded, holding his hand up in the air in a sign of non aggression.
Gale had heard Flame's instructions loud and clear and responded with a nod to show that he head agreed with them. Now as for Tessa who had appeared to have calmed down a bit, she had apologized for hugging him. "Don't worry about it." No harm was done and she really could use the comforting after having to carry the now late king's body back to the now queen. Some of the others around them had started to follow behind Flame, so Gale looked to Tessa and asked. "Shall we catch up with the others?" Following behind Flame and the others, Chrono was pretty surprised to a centaur on top of the wall. Actually he was surprised to see a centaur in general, his being on the wall only added more to the surprise. Once he had gotten over the surprise, he saw that Flame had gone into the city to start titan killing. Well it looked like their time for resting had come to an end, thus Chrono followed behind her into the city.
As expected, the orbs were deflected and the demi god continued to charge towards him. While he did add some more lances for him to deal with, this was still within his expectations. More or less anyway. Though the position of the three lances was a different lances. His current plan would take care of the two to his left and right. The one above was a different matter. His plane wouldn't counter that so he would have to dodge thought while continuing his plan. It was going to be close, but he could do it. Now it was at this point that MoK had realize that he didn't noticed a key part of Al's post. Kalak had deflected Reitan's spear. Welp, instead of editing his post, we're just going to roll with it. Moment after his lance had been deflected, Reitan took this chance to spin around in a circle, forming another cyclone around him as well as quickly stepping away from the lance that was above him. He may have been fast enough to do all that, but he wasn't fast enough to fully avoid the lance as it grazed his ankle. The pain was minor, but there. The cover of the cyclone had granted him enough time to engulf his lance in flames and lunge the flame coated lance towards the Demi god.
So uh yeah, Veilen continued to wander aimlessly through his new surroundings. What would really help right now if he were to bump into someone that he guide him around the city and at least tell him about his new locations. Yeah, that really would be helpful. For now though he continued to walk around.
As they headed down the alley, Zephyr could feel occasional pains in his chest due to Willow's attacks on Byakko. Though her attacks wouldn't be enough to bring the tiger down, it certainly hindered it until he arrived. At which point he granted the tiger a little bit of magic energy to heal the wounds and bring it back to full strength. Now for the other issue at hand. There was an assassin in front of them and some creepy necromancer behind him. "No can do, I did say that I can handle myself when needed." Assisting him his point, Byakko swiftly appeared at his side and let out a mighty roar towards Solomon. The lightning from Terra's magic had struck down some of the skeletons that had formed around them, but not all of them (Least that was what we're going with). That was where Byakko's own lightning came in and struck down any skeletons that hadn't be ended by Terra's magic. Electricty continued to surge through Byakko fur as it ready for another attack when needed.
Recovering from being knocked out by the tree monster, Zephyr awoke to finding an odd situation taking place. Johanna and co had fallen down into a crocodile pit and were now confronted with some jungle chick with a spear. With Alessia and Ander being the first two to speak up, Zephyr soon had a flashback to when they were on the train dealing with Kageyama and how he basically was the peacemaker in that situation. Welp, looks like he might be doing that again. "Can we not antagonize the lady with the spear?" Zephyr started, turning his attention towards Nidalee/Jungle Spear Chick. He then proceeded to sigh before starting an explanation. "As they said, we're peacefully exploring this island when we ran into some sort of tree monster. Now a question for you, other than your crocodile friends, what is on this island?"
Despite being caught off guard by Tessa hugging him, Gale held no objections to the action. Instead, he gently wrapped his arms around the crying girl, allowing her to get out her feelings. Words were still lost to him in this situation, but the difference in this case was that he could at least be there for Tessa in this case. And that was exactly what he did.
