For most of the carriage ride Zephyr had been looking out of the carriage window watching everything go pass them. Which is why when the scenery started to take turn for the more creepy, he both noticed it and didn't like the ominous feeling that it gave. Arriving at the market place, Zephyr got out of the carriage and looked around. The looks they got and the people talking in their hands was something he was used to personally, but another looked showed that they were more focused on Thea. "Could be that they weren't expecting someone so young to come and help them." That may have been what he said, but the lack of anyone her age cause a different reason to come to mind. The courtesying girl surprised Zephyr slightly. "Yeah, that's us. I'm Zephyr. Where is your mayor by the way?"
With the banging on the door growing with each passing second, Chrono didn't hesitate to get aboard the lifeboat. "We already said we aren't leaving anyone behind, don't think your exempt from that!" Chrono called out to Take. He'd managed to catch a glimpse of the orb Take had run off after, but was more concerned with what he planned on doing with it. Master Choma had said that it was what the pirates wanted and if that were true, what would he gain from taking it himself. A bargaining chip? Hopefully that wasn't the case.
"She can handle herself." Zephyr said as Thea maneuvered her flames through her finger. "Besides that' why we're going with her, to make sure nothing happens." Gavin's concerns were understandable and it wasn't like he wanted to throw her into harms way despite how nonchalant he may have sounded, but they couldn't baby her. Thea was still a member of their guild. If it were to come down it, they would simply back her up. Zephyr watched the crumbs fall to the ground after Thea scarfed down the muffin. "I take it you're ready now then?"
Chrono was glad that Jim had pushed the two into the maintenance tunnel. More so Illiana cause he was tempted to do the same himself. He followed down after them after Jim had the explosion was clear motive for him to actually start running away from the captains quarters. The tunnels had lead them right to their destination, the life boats, and waiting them were the others. "We can catch up later after we're on the life boat." Chrono said, glancing behind him at the door they had just gone through.
Outside of Aria's outburst, it hadn't been too noisy while they ate. There was the occasional noise here and there, but nothing major. Thus when things got noticeable louder on the upper deck, curiosity was the first thing that Chrono felt. Nodding and following behind Aria, things got both louder and rowdier the closer that they got to the deck. It was easy to spot once it was in sight, the black skull and crossbone flag that waved in place of the original flag. "Not good." The pirates on the top deck and in the path of the captains quarters. The exact direction in which Aria had gone. Chrono could understand why she had gone that way, but at the very least he'd wish ran. Being in a hurry wouldn't help if they still got caught in the process of heading there. After making sure that there wasn't anyone looking in thier immediate direction, Chrono dashed off after Aria.
"Huh? Oh, yeah. Yeah I'm fine." Zephyr said. Despite knowing that Gavin had take a seat next to him, he wasn't expecting anyone to directly address him. So he was a bit surprised, but was able to compose himself when the piece of paper was passed over to him. He looked over the paper and quickly noticed that what was written on being the same as the mission he had his eyes on. Convenient for him as he knew Midarah wouldn't be too fond of him trying to take the mission on by himself. "Sure, I don't mind tagging along." The loud yellings of a little girl was as easily heard as it was spotting Thea waving some paper in the air. It had to have been a job that she wanted wanted to do. "I'll be right back." He told Gavin, then getting up and striding over towards Thea. "Mind if I tag along." Zephyr said to the little girl.
Zephyr nodded at Conrad's response as he watched his friend walk away. While he had noticed Gavin sitting next to him, Zephyr didn't do much beside offer him a quick wave to show that he had acknowledge him before turning away and looking down at the bracelet he wore on his left wrist. According to his sister it was a gift to him from his father who had worn something similar like this. Said similarities lied within the winged sword emblem that also hide his guild mark. Zephyr knew nothing about it or what it was supposed to mean. Asking about it had only given him the answer that it had been in his family for years. Considering how little he truly knew about his ancestors and all that, not at all a helpful answer. At the very least it made a nice good luck charm for him and luck was something that Zephyr desperately needed at times. If only you'd stuck around to tell me about this yourself dad.
In his tired state Chrono had managed to find himself in the kitchen as a result of his walk. Suffice to say that he wasn't expecting to smell anything being cooked nor how familiar it was. Scrambled eggs and they were already prepped and there was even a spot for him even set. Part of him honestly thought this was a dream, despite clearly seeing both Aria and Illiana at the table eating. "This is an oddly pleasant surprise." He didn't mean anything negative by that statement and perhaps he wouldn't have to defend himself. Regardless of that, he took himself a seat at the napkin that had his name and started eating the eggs.
Chrono had slept oddly throughout the night. While he had managed to actually get some sleep, there were a lot of things still on his mind and hindered him from reaching a complete state of sleep. Meaning that when he woke up, it was with a yawn to signal that he was still tired. Hearing the 'ow' Chrono looked just in time to see Take chasing after Jim. An odd start to the morning for sure, but he was too tired to worry about it too much. Gradually making his way off the bed and getting dressed, he went for a quick walk to hopefully wake himself up further.
Chrono had been relatively silent while listening to what Master Choma and the others were saying. They only knew two of the princesses, one of which had already been taken. Plus it wasn't like there were any distinguishing features that Princess of heart had that would make finding them easier. Knowing that they had a pure heart of light didn't do much when they couldn't actually check that to his knowledge. Chrono made note of them names that Aria had said were connected to the Light Chaser and at the mentioning of this 'Koa', a smash was heard behind them. Seeing as it was Illiana was the one who had caused it and how quickly she was to leave the conversation prior to Aria chasing after her. It reminded him of how her acted when he had asked about her sibling. Maybe this Koa guy is connected to her sibling somehow. It sounded reasonable enough with the little info he managed to get Illiana to say earlier.

"Yo." Zephyr simply said as he lifted his hand up for a quick wave towards Lakoda. During the small lesson she had given Thea, Zephyr had gotten himself a piece of toast before returning to their general area. He had in fact taken a look at some of the current jobs that were posted and there was really one of that truly interested him. "The enchanted flute job had my interest." Perhaps he should look at it once again given that his first look had just been to get general idea of what they were. There easily could've been some details that he missed in the process of doing that. An urgent mission, involving the sick no less. That truly didn't sound like a good combination. "I might stick with my first choice." He said said after taking another bite out of his toast. Maira had let out a chuckle of her own when Midarah responded. "It's hard not to know how you tend to overwork yourself." Adjusting herself, Maira glanced down towards the other members of the guild, then turned her attention back to Midarah. "I slept perfectly fine actually." They were soon joined by Gavin, who Maira waved at as her form of greeting. "Perhaps you try asking some of the others before you try Everette. I know he likes to help and all, but an S-Class is still an S-Class." To her it seemed like a bit of an shift in balance to have an S-Class tag along for certain missions. Naturally there were exceptions to this and when said exceptions arose, she would certainly no hesitate to assist.
Two choices were presented before them, one being a much safer alternative and would've easily granted him a longer life. The other however would be much more perilous and could result in his death however, the reward of this one though was much better than its counterpart. With said reward in mind, it was quite easy for him to make his decision. So easy in fact that he really didn't need to think on it. "At the risk of sounding like a broken record, there's still some holes in my memory that I'd like to be filled and I know for a fact that Ria has some say in that and I'm not leaving this place until he's dead and those holes are filled. So let's get this over with." Chrono said.
Following behind Weaselton, Kel had gotten annoyed by the raspberry that was blown their way. Catching him would be a huge relief at this point. When they did catch up to him, he had been stopped by a polar bear in a suit. Certainly not something that Kel had expected to see at all that was for certain. Once more the names 'Nick and Judy' were thrown out, which prompted Kel to ask. "Um, mind telling us more about your 'daddy' or at the very least let us tag along to his office?" He had a vague idea on who the mob were, really he was just comparing them to some of the gangs he's heard about back home, but given their attire he wasn't sure how well this would go.
"Alright, how much sleep did you get?" A soft voice asked as Maira took a seat in the chair near their guild master. In a rare turn of events she wasn't wearing her white armor and instead was dressed in her long shirt and shorts. Usually she wore this when speaking with just Midarah or whenever she didn't feel like equipping on her armor. Yes, something that could be do at the simple flick of a wrist was something that she at times didn't feel like doing.
Zephyr had gotten an early start to his morning, but he had spent it still in his room for the most of it. "1...2...3" The reason being was cause of his morning workouts that were less of a ritual and more of a 'he'd do it when he actually remembered to do so.' This was about everyone other week to some extent. Sometimes it was twice a week if he really remembered to do so. "10...11...12" These exercises typically varied from the basic push ups, sit up and some basic combat techniques. Basic being hand to hand as there wasn't enough space for him to practice with his sword nor did he really want to do anything with his magic in this enclosed space. "38...39...40." Today the workout was push ups and he had finished his set. Naturally being sweaty as a result of this, he did what any sane person would do and went to shower. Now that he was clean and had managed to do his morning training, Zephyr headed down to the guild hall just in time to hear the piano being played. Reaching the ground floor had allowed him to see that it was Lakoda playing. Zephyr joined in on the clapping as he approached the group that had formed around the girl. From the looks of it, a lesson was about to take place for the young Thea. He took himself a seat where he would still be able to hear and watch without being a potential interruption to them.
When they had reached the area that the fork in the path, Chrono walked directly over to the painting and took a closer look at them. Armor, opposing sides and a keyblade. Perhaps this was what happened to most of the keyblade wielders when they were more prominent. Each painting was given a fair amount of attention aside from the last one, that was given the most attention from him. "Hey Mora, what can you tell us about this?" Using this thumb, he motioned towards the last painting.
Master Choma being back was a relief as he had hoped that it would be followed by some form of good news. That wasn't the case unfortunately. If the masters or any other wielders were in hiding, then were they is worse shape than they were. That was assuming that anything worse hadn't happened to them. It wasn't a pleasant thing to think about, them being the only ones active enough to have a chance at doing something to stop all this. A slim chance at best, but a chance nonetheless. "I don't think we should hide." Chrono said, pausing long enough to look at Aria's bracelet. "Nor should we leave anyone behind. If the Light Chaser really does have tabs on you, then what's stopping him from showing up now to take Aria. The fact that he hasn't means that he must be waiting for something or the right moment. Then let's use that to our advantage, use this time to get strong enough so that we can deal with this." Taking in a breath, Chrono concluded with. "Besides, I'm not going into hiding until I know where my sister is and that she's safe."
Chrono sighed in relief when the Demon Tower had broke apart before them. He was more so glad that his very risky plan had actually worked out and not gotten them harmed in the process. "Yeah, let's not." It was easy for him to agree to the idea on not doing this ever again. The others seemed to be okay as well given that their lifeboat was still afloat and he'd heard Jim's victory cry. Now they just needed to get back onto the ship before anyone noticed that the lifeboats were gone.
Username: CrackedMoksha Name: Maira Kaiser Age: 24 Appearance: !Oro! Personality: She's rational and tolerant. Of course she's also selfless, objective and intuitive, but in smaller doses and they're often spoiled by habits of being a bit of an air head as well. Her curiosity though, this is what she's most popular for. There are many times when friends count on this and her resourcefulness in times of need. Nobody's perfect of course and Katie has plenty of character faults too. Her curiosity has sometime gotten the better of her, fortunately this is usually while back at the guild hall. Fortunately her tolerance usually softens the worst of it. Brief History: At the age of 14, Maira had started working as a bounty hunter as a way to make some extra cash. She had taken on a few minor jobs and had a pretty successful track record thanks to her magic. The next job that she had taken was an odd one 'Investigate the guild master of Divine Rose and find out the secret to her power' Jobs such as these were not commonplace, but with a reward like that was being offer there would be no complaints from her. Maira took this job and set out to learn about the guild master. The end results were, well, not at all what she or anyone else would expect. First off she didn't see anything that really made her a threat and second her curiosity got the better of her here, leading Maira sticking around for longer than she had planned. Still she was technically on the job and it wasn't like anyone else could claim it since she took the flyer with her when she left.
