So I read some notes about Ian Bohen's panel at AlphaCon and I am a very happy camper. Don't mind me, I'm just overly excited. Peter confirmed for shirtless in Season 4 Ian apologized for his hair in season 1 Peter is not going to be in the title sequence [ Malia, his daughter, is though ] More Hale interaction Going to meet Malia's mother Ian is confused about ages in TW because apparently his character is 25 when he's 37-38 in reality. [ To be fair, Jeff Davis has said that 'ages aren't important'. Because werewolves age differently than humans. ] "Why do you even like Peter? He's terrible." [ Because you play him that good, Bobo ] Ian did not like his wardrobe in season 1 [ No v-neck shirts ] Ian loves Tyrian Lannister possibility of making Peter more sympathetic [ I love love love my villains to be sympathetic. ] Peter is going to try to get Alpha Status back [ No surprise. It's been his drive since he lost it. ] More sassy interaction between Peter and Lydia potential love interest for Peter [ blaaaah ] We'll know more about Peter's healing after the fire [ Which is something I'm interested in ] Kate confirmed for Were Jaguar [Peter, you're messed up.] Ian when asked about malia being mentally 8: ‘that’s stuff we are like ‘let’s not talk about that’ Jackson is too old to be Peter's son [ I'm still banking on Deputy 'He's a Unicorn' Parrish ] 'I'd like to play a good character'
I don't really deal with display only items being that I work in the grocery sector. However, people sometimes display appalling reading comprehension skills. Usually when dealing with coupons. and I don't know how many people do not understand 'assorted/selected varieties' means that not every single variety is on sale. If I were not working on 2 stories at the moment, I would write a book.
I didn't get a birthday thread either. I probably wouldn't have enjoyed the attention. But I did get some well wishes in the Lounge thread. That was good enough. Also Happy Birthday. Eat some cake for me.
Ruining a 20 year old's night.
Today at work I ruined a 20 year old's night by carding him when he tried to purchase alcohol. I can check that off my list.
As someone who had a mild form of epilepsy and know someone who has seizures, I know they're a real thing. And I know any sort of disorder is going to be met by ignorance by the majority of the population. 'Oh that's something bad. We don't like talking about bad things.' That was told to me by my grade school guidance counselor when I mentioned I was being bullied for my seizures. [ I had to go to the office at a certain time in the day to take meds. I had absence seizures that made it look like I was daydreaming. I still got in trouble for being 'distracted'. ] I'm trying to make up for past behavior on this site. I had issues I was going through. Still have issues really at the different end of the spectrum. Back when, I was overly aggressive to the point my username scared people. Now I'm worried about upsetting people to the point I come off as shy. Time can change people is what I'm saying. I didn't need to be banned to know I needed to take a step back until I calmed down. And I'm not saying I think less of a person because they saw that as the best option.
I am aware of the Slenderman mythos and generally prefer to stay away from them. It's not that I don't find them insanely creative because they are. I applaud whoever came up with them. However, it's not my cup of tea. I want to applaud the Admin of the Creepypasta Wiki though. Because he's right with how we treat those with mental illnesses. We've come a long way from abandoning them on doorsteps to asylums and icepick lobotomies but we've got a long way to go if we're still shunning these individuals. And he's also right in saying that it wasn't the character/literature that should be the focus of this. Creepypasta presents everything as 100% fiction. It's a bit like the Colombine shooting and the media blaming everything from the music they listened to to the way the shooters dressed rather than the core of the issue. Though I can agree that parents should know what their children are doing online. Especially when they're this young. Blocking certain sites is an option. Though I question if most parents know sites like the Creepypasta Wiki even exist.
Nice to see that you're going places.
I read the thread and now I'm going to leave.
Oh geez, that's the one.
I can sympathize. Gran fell and broke her hip. Was in the hospital for 3 days for a partial replacement and then in a nursing home for rehabilitation and therapy for about 2-3 months. She was okay for about...6 months and now she's starting mixing pills and stuff that's making her fall all the time. She's on prescriptions and one is pretty much a controlled substance. And on top of that, she's taking allergy medications and motion sickness pills. Stuff she should not be doing. The other day, she fell in her kitchen to break off the cabinet door. We, the family, think she's working up to getting back into the hospital/nursing home so she can have the attention she wants that she thinks we aren't giving her. If that happens, I doubt they're going to let her come home this time.
The old dragonfly's incarnation in the reboot, yes. For some reason, someone had the brilliant notion to make the dragonfly talk.
This is nothing. This isn't a thread about foot ch-- I can't even finish that sentence. Suffice to say that there have been worse.
He was purple first. I remember calling him a grape at some point.
I didn't want to come to your lame party anyway.
