Guys, I need your help. The majority of the tumblr Teen Wolf fandom is planning on boycotting the show tonight. I'm not totally clear as to why. Something about how the cast members read excerpts of fanfiction at comic-con. (And they did so in a very non-mocking way.) But this is the same cast that has to endure death threats and racist comments. Certain cast members have gotten death threats because their characters get in the way of their precious ships. And I know Tyler Posey has to endure a lot of racist comments. I'm asking you to tune into Teen Wolf tonight in a hour's time( 9pm Central) and help both the cast members and the behind the scenes people who make the show possible. Even if you don't plan on watching it, just tune a tv, any tv in your home, to MTV. And tell your friends to do the same. EDIT: You can also watch on MTV.com or just have it open in a tab. I'd hate to see this show cut short because of something blown out of proportion. Say what you will about Jeff Davis but the other people involved with this show do not deserve to lose their jobs over something as petty as this. EDIT: This is the majority of the reasoning behind the blackout. Cast members at Q&A panels have every right to refuse to answer a question. They have every right to refuse to even acknowledge a question. I know I wouldn't want to answer a question about shipping when there are things I'd rather answer. I know Posey's standpoint on shipping is pretty much: 'If you're watching for shipping, you probably are watching for the wrong reason.' It's like making a cake and just eating the icing off of said cake. You are ignoring the plot and the characters and waiting for something to happen that could not happen. I'm planning on watching tonight because this whole thing has been blown out of proportion. It's absolutely ridiculous and amounts to 'Wah, they didn't answer my question. I'm not happy anymore!'
It's just a lot of stress on all of us. We try and get her help and she refuses. But now it's to the point that social services is going to get involved. But she's her own person and more than capable of getting up and about on her own. She has everything she needs in that house. She gets food during the week and we try to bring her food on the weekends. [ The meatloaf I brought her was still there this morning. Had to throw it out. ] But if she can't or won't get up to get to the bathroom. It's not a good situation. The EMTs agreed with that much. I cannot live there if she's smoking. It's not good for my health even if she doesn't give a rat's ass about herself anymore. She's always been difficult for as long as I can recall. She'll call me at work wanting me to leave to bring her a soda or something. And I tell her I can't because I'm at work and I cannot leave my job. So then she gets real snide with me and hangs up. Like she's trying to guilt me into trying.
I've reached the point where I either want to scream or cry or a mixture of both. An elderly relative of mine desperately needs some sort of medical care that I cannot provide. The ambulance was just over there. They cannot take her against her will and she refused. So they're going to call social services and report this and we also need to call social services. I agree she needs some sort of care. And she just thinks that we're going to run over when she calls. But we all work. We can't run over there to help her to the bathroom at 4 in the morning. Something needs to be done. And Dad won't make any sort of decision regarding his mother. I don't know if she's trying to die or if she's just being stubborn and lazy. Probably both.
And if I recall correctly, it was only an option for him.

I did not say anything about violence in the section of my post you quoted here. All I said was that my 5 year old Niece is watching shows that teach her things. And that the same can be applied to older kids. Now you're just being rude and taking my words out of context. 13 year old boys were the target audience for TRON: Uprising. One of the reasons it was moved to a different time slot and then pulled entirely was that young adult women in their twenties were watching it. Which is hypocritical considering a cartoon marketed toward young girls and then watched by adult men in their twenties is praised. I didn't say it was a fact. But if you insist. It is my OPINION that television and media as a whole is on the decline.
Amaury, sit down. Cartoons are a way for children to learn how stuff works and how they should behave in a given setting. A way for children and teenagers to interact with one another. The cartoons my Niece, who is 5 watches, teaches her stuff like sharing and being nice/helpful to others. They can teach kids to stand up to bullies and to ask for help. I can remember watching shows as a tween and teenager and learning things. Sure, not all cartoons and tv shows have unspoken lessons but a lot of them did. Networks like Disney and Nick have thrown these out the window in favor of random humor to attract 13 year old boys. Part of this is the reason shows like TRON: Uprising and Young Justice got cancelled. The other part is that girls started watching and you can't market to girls. Televison as a whole has been in a state of decline.

Peter has always been confusing. And I like that about his character. He keeps you guessing as to his actions. Is he good? Is he bad? Is he looking out for his best interests? And seeing his Beta form for the first time. It seems cute to me because the fangs were getting in the way of Ian's words. So something that's supposed to be monstrous just ends up being cute. I want to know just what the heck Parrish is that he ended up on the deadpool. I've been saying that he's a unicorn or something. But he said he was 'drawn' to Beacon Hills. And we know that after the sacrifices to the Nemeton, Deaton said that a lot of the supernatural would be drawn to the area. So he has to be something supernatural. A unicorn. Logically, I don't think that Peter and Kate are working together. The woman burned almost entire family alive and put him in a coma for 6 years. I suppose she's technically his beta since it was his claws that turned her. But since family is so important to Peter(according to Ian), he wouldn't team up with her. Unless once he deems her useless, he'll kill her again. But I just can't see it.
Oh no had to deal with that last season. Besides, Ian has said that Peter's going to be around in Season 5 still. Kind of worried about Derek though.
So I just saw the Teen Wolf Mid-Season trailer for Season 4. ...A stupid Mtv show should not be able to toy with my emotions like this.

I like dvds because I can play them in my laptop. That way I can watch something on my computer and my parents can watch what they want on the tv. [ I have a tv in my room but I like to play at being sociable. ] Didn't they do a kid friendly version of Blurred Lines? ...Like how even does that work? It's frightening even if I can't figure out how it works. I'd get rid of the 'If it doesn't scan, it's free!' line. Because seriously, hearing it too much takes any charm out of it. Can I just get rid of problem/rude costumers?

Well of course it can kill you. You can get poisoned just by handling the stuff without gloves. Not that you would want to in the first place, given the laundry list of symptoms the poisoning causes.
