Yeah, that's usually how resale works. I mean, if there's enough of a market for it, people will buy anything. The seller's goal is to turn a profit. The customer's goal is to fill some void. Where are you that gas is always $3.00 a gallon? I'm pretty sure there are some places up here that are pretty darn close to $5 a gallon.
This is basically my reaction and I work retail. Look, economy 101, it's supply and demand. If there's not a whole lot of a supply, there's going to be a lot of demand. If there's a lot of a supply, there's going to be not so much demand. Speaking ideally of course. This is what usually makes designer clothing so expensive. As there's a limited quantity available. Your mass produced t-shirts on the other hand aren't going to cost so much. So if a video game has been out of print for a long time and there's enough of a nostalgia factor attached to it, people will shell out cash for it. Or like Atlas said, if the gas prices go up, there's a reason for it. Conflict in the middle east is usually the big one.
Re: Justin Bieber He's a twat. Let's not bring him up again. Re: Being a Magical Girl "fanatic" Nope. I like the Superheroes. Re: MLP I was a fan of the original series and I'd probably be okay with the current incarnation. However, a certain subsect of its fans have...kind of ruined any interest I would have had in it. Bronies. Re: Final Jeopardy ...Kids these days.
Anime is what most people think of when they hear the words 'Magical Girl' but the entire genre was influenced by an American sitcom from the '60s. To quote TVTropes: Now you're ready for Final Jeopardy.
You had me up until you mentioned ponies. And I don't role play on this website.
Nah don't feel weird. Only thing keeping me from indulging in nostalgia is that the games won't function on my Macbook and my PC hasn't been properly maintained in years. And I play Nancy Drew games.
But I don't want to meet hot singles in my area.
Ah. Alright. Might have felt a teensy bit of concern that you just tossed out the window. Cigarette smoke usually makes me feel sick to my stomach. That combined with the smell of cheap booze and human sweat is a complete no go. And most of the reason I hardly go to concerts anymore.
Invest in a respirator or a gas mask. I doubt it would look that out of place at a concert with what you're describing.
Yep You never leave the scene of an accident. Or at least stay in the vicinity of the scene.
Started watching Ultimate Spiderman because I am in need of some amusement. I've been awake since 7 this morning(central). And it is only by the grace of painkillers and the distraction of laundry that I am not going on a homicidal rampage. Also copious amounts of chocolate.

...So people standing up for a cause they believe in is immature? So Rosa Parks was immature for not giving up her seat on the bus? So women are immature to standing up to clothing giants that print demeaning slogans on their t-shirts? So Greenpeace is immature for standing up to conglomerations for deforestation?
Oh really? http://listverse.com/2011/09/03/10-famous-boycotts/ http://www.toptenz.net/top-ten-boycotts.php http://www.ushistory.org/us/54b.asp ( Rosa Parks and the Montgomery Bus Boycott which led to de-segregation ) http://www.ethicalconsumer.org/boycotts/successfulboycotts.aspx Boycotts, when done properly, can do great things.
