Light and Noctis are currently in the field talking to Tifa and L about what is going on. Light isn't sure that this is another cycle, Tifa is worried about what is going on, and why they are there. L is being calm and reasonable and saying they they should actually do something if they want to get anywhere or finding anything out. Noctis hasn't spoke in a while. That is what is happening there in short form, I don't really know about any of your other characters.
Karina considered offering to stay behind to protect the girl but she knew that no one would trust her there alone, and she refused to be stuck there with Luna. The other guy she didn't really know what she thought about him but he was too quiet and she didn't really want to be stuck with him either. Krowley obviously led this team so he wouldn't stay behind to protect the girl. After going through her options in her head she decided to just go with what they were doing and stay quiet. She was not exactly sure what they were going to do but she would just play along with it. As they walked she decided to remain at the back of the group as to not be disturbed. She liked the quiet and was much into socializing with the others, especially Luna.
"Better advice then I could give." He laughed for a moment. "But yeah sounds good, lets head out. Everyone ready to go then?" He asked the other two. "Or do you guys have other suggestions on what we should do next? I am game for anything as long as it doesn't involve fighting." He didn't know how many other options they had right now but thought it would be good to give the others a chance to speak before they started to go anywhere, that way if they got lost, no one could blame it on him for just going along with the first suggestion that came up.
"My name is Light Yagami, it is nice to meet you Jiraiya." Light extended his hand towards Jairaiya for a hand shake."So, does anyone have any ideas on what we should do now since we are all lost?" Despite Lights intelligence he was a bit lost to do. He had never been in a situation like this before. All he knew was that he needed to find out the names of as many people as possible before he moved away from his own group and onto his own path. He barely knew these people but he had a feeling that if/when it came time to judge them, they would all go into his death note. He didn't know where he got this notion from but he didn't question it either. He had to trust his instincts on this one. He would follow the group for now and see how things play out before making a definite plan on what to do about them.

"I honestly have no idea what could have happened here, but if some one did "take care of them" as you put it; I don't really want to stick around to find out what. I don't know about you guys but I don't really fight that much." Light replied to the girls question. It was easy enough to find out who did what and write the persons name in the death note, it was trying to hide the fact he had it for the others that was hard. He looked around at the others, from what he could tell they all knew how to fight, or at least defend themselves. Meanwhile he was hopeless in that area without the death note. He decided to hang around for now, but if a fight did come up he might quietly slip away.
"Well if not another cycle then what? Why were we all called here? What is our purpose?" Tifa was frustrated, she slowly raised her voice as she talked. "We will never find out sitting around here will we?" L spoke in as calm a voice as he always did. He showed no sign of panic or worry. "Who asked you? And how in the world are you so calm?" Tifa snapped at him. With that she calmed down and stood there quietly eyes darting from face to face, waiting for someone else to speak up.
"I don't really want to leave, I think I will stay here a little longer." L replied. He yet to move from his position on the rock. He stared at the faces of everyone. "If my logic is correct, witch it always is, I would say we all came here from different worlds or dimensions. Why we were brought here I have yet to figure out, but there has to be a reason." L thought out loud. "Hey Light, do you think this might be like another cycle of war? If so, why does the land look so different then any other times? And why are there all these different people here?" She asked, not really expecting her to have an answer.
"Good point." Tifa stated "But it currently sits at two against one, so I wouldn't try anything if I were you. Listen to me, if you are good then it might be to your benefit to try to befriend us instead of making an enemy of us." Tifa glanced at Lightning looking for her to back her up. If this man were truly against them then he would have already drawn his weapon, but then again that didn't mean she trusted him either. "If you two are done your squabbling, why don't you focus on the bigger questions like where are we, and how do we get back home. I am working on a important investigation and don't want to waste my time here." L interjected. "But then again you guys don't listen to me, so why should I stick around to help you. Maybe I will leave and find a way home myself."
"We are all lost here, eh?" Light responded. "What is this, some kind of sick joke? Did someone think it would be fun to watch us while we are all lost and confused?" Light was unimpressed by the circumstances they were in. "I bet this was L's doing, trying to make me reveal that I am Kira" He thought. Xion interrupted his thoughts when she pointed out the two other men. "Good idea. Lets go talk to them. Oh, by the way, i never caught your guys's names. I am Light Yagami."
-The field- After being sucked into a wormhole while working on the Kira investigation, L found himself in a large open field. Near by there was a small group of people talking. L sat on a rock in ear shot of the people who were talking. Well he didn't exactly sit on the rock, he was more in a crouch position that he always sat in.He heard the male in the group introduce himself, giving his full name. "You should be more careful to who you give your name to. That is all he needs to kill, a name and a face." He warned them as he played with his lower lip. You two could have been killed right there. Tifa turned her head to look at the man who started to speak. She had no clue who he was and didn't really want to ask. She wanted to finish her conversation with Noctis first. "Anyway Noctis how do we know that we shouldn't kill you right here?" -the Village- Light wandered around a small village, his death note hidden under his coat. There was no sign of any people as of yet, and no sign of L. It came to a relief to him to not have L following him like usual. As he turned a corner he saw two people, a young man, and a girl standing there. "Maybe I should talk to them, earn their trust in order to get some information. I doubt they have any clue about the death note meaning that they will have no trouble telling me their names. I can eliminate them if they get in my way. This will be all to easy." He thought as he approached them "Hi, I am lost, do either of you know where we are. It must sound a bit crazy but I was sucked up and brought here by a strange wormhole." He spoke with a light hearted voice, no one of a killers, but one of a young innocent college student. To them that would be all he was.

"I will be fine Light." Tifa responded to Lightnings warning, "I may have changed but I didn't become weak." She turned back to the man that called himself Noctis. "Let me guess, a wormhole appeared and sucked you through, and that is how you ended up here, am I right." She asked him. She had confidence in her voice as she talked. She wasn't scared of this man even though Lightning didn't seem to trust him. She would keep her guard up just in case anyway though,
