Alrighty. Well I have to go, see ya!
Roxas looked up at Namine and automatically reached up, taking the glass and pills from her hands. "Thanks," he said then. He popped the pills in his mouth and brought the glass of water to his lips, forcing them down. He hoped they worked quickly.
9 my time probably.
Roxas nodded slightly, following her with his eyes before letting them fall on Ty, who was still sleeping on his feet. The blond sighed softly, wishing that things were a little better. Through his adrenaline and rage, he hadn't felt any pain. He kind of wished he was like that, just so all of this hurt would disappear. But Namine wouldn't like that, so he didn't think about it a second longer.
Ah, okay. Well, hmm... Is there any way you can be back on tonight and we can possibly continue this then? My boyfriend is very, very persistent. Dx
Roxas exhaled in relief when the pain lessened for a moment, the boy's shoulders slumping a little. "Just some painkillers," he said, thinking of how much he just wanted the pain to go away. It was annoying and aggravating, and it hurt. Bad.
xD That's right. I forgot you were leaving. How long you gonna be gone?
Another round of pain engulfed Roxas's body, making his grasp on Namine's hand tighten as he tensed up and closed his eyes. He decided that he was sick of this pain; he needed some medicine. A lot of it. Stupid Jeff. Roxas wished he could have beaten the jock worse, hoping he was feeling just as much pain as the blond was right now.
That's good. =) The reason why I'm asking is so maybe we could catch each other later on tonight; my boyfriend and another guy friend of mine are...
Roxas nodded faintly, though he still disagreed. He wished he could have been there for her the last few hours, instead of being unconscious. True, he had passed out from exhaustion and his pain mixed together, which had been brutal. But he remembered wishing he could return back to the emptiness of the darkness, just for a while longer. If he had done that, Namine would have had to suffer alone longer, and he didn't want that.
Aww, man. Sorry to hear that. =/
Roxas squeezed Namine's hand at the thought, exhaling slowly. "Sorry. I didn't mean to pass out," he said before tensing slightly from his back pain. It was unfortunate that he left her alone for a few hours after that whole thing happened. He wished he could have stayed conscious long enough to try and comfort her.
So are you going to that sleepover or whatever?
Roxas felt movement next to him, out of the corner of his eye seeing it as well. He rubbed his forehead for a second before letting his hand rest on his lap. "I guess I should've...expected that," he said, having to pause midsentence because of one of his injuries. Namine... She'd nearly died. He wasn't quite alright at the thought either.
"...Are you okay?" Roxas asked after a small silence, and his pain went away for a second to allow him to speak. Seriously, he had the worst headache, but it felt like more than something so simple. And his back hurt and was stiff, and he still tasted blood in his mouth. He couldn't still be bleeding, could he?
"Mm," Roxas managed, fighting his throbbing head pains. He closed his eyes for the moment, his head turning to face forward again. A few hours? Had Namine sat with him the whole time?
Unfortunately. xP
Roxas slowly brought his free hand to his forehead as he looked at Namine. "How long was I out for?" he asked groggily, remembering that he had passed out on her. He felt bad for having that happen, but his exhaustion had taken a toll on him and forced him into it; his body couldn't handle the strain on top of all the pain.
xDD Whoopsie!
Roxas's sight fell on the floor first, where he saw a familiar golden retriever sleeping near his feet. But then he recognized the warmth against his hand, and he turned his head to see Namine. He stifled a wince against the pain, blinking in the silence as he gazed at her. He squeezed her hand without thought. "Namine?" When he heard himself speak, he wasn't surprised to find his voice a little raspy and weak. He still felt exhausted, even after he fainted.
