Roxas waited until a small throb of pain in his head subsided before speaking. "What is this about again? I forget," he said, staring at the screen with slightly narrowed eyes. He was trying to keep himself distracted, if it would work.

Once Namine was next to him again, Roxas let his eyes fall on the screen. The movie already started to play, and that was when he recognized it. He'd come over once or twice when Namine was in the middle of watching it; he'd never actually seen it himself.

Roxas watched Namine silently, not able to take his eyes off her. He almost lost her earlier today, and it made his heart skip at the realization. He was going to fulfill his secret promise to her--to treat her with more respect and affection, and be a better boyfriend. She deserved it more than anything, and she deserved more than he could possibly give her. But he was going to try his best.

"You pick," Roxas said softly, moving his head slightly to follow her with his eyes. He was too occupied by his injuries to think about a movie he wanted to watch. Namine knew what she had and knew what she liked, what he liked, so he would give her the freedom to choose whatever she wished. She deserved that at least, after everything that had been thrown at her.

Roxas peeked an eye open at the suggestion, but blinked and opened both eyes. "Sure," he agreed quietly. A movie wouldn't be so bad; it would probably distract him. That would be good.
My mom's off the computer now, so I'm switchin' over really quick. xD
The pain faded after a long minute, and Roxas's form sank back into the couch as he exhaled a soft breath. The silence around him was both comfortable and uneasy, though he couldn't really explain why. He let it be, not having the energy to really question anything right now.
...Uh, don't know. xDD She's a fast walker.
Roxas let the silence engulf him again as he tried to relax. He could still feel Ty on top of his feet, the dog obviously asleep. He was keeping Roxas's feet warm, regardless. The boy felt a sharp pain in his back another time, and he took in a deep breath through his nose to try to breathe through it. He'd dealt with worse, he was sure. But he was too tired to try and think of an example.

Roxas furrowed his eyebrows slightly at Namine's response, but he closed his eyes nonetheless. "Okay," he replied softly, though he didn't really believe her. Namine hadn't taken the events with Smith well, and Jeff was nearly as bad. He tried to kill her, and she was alright? Roxas wasn't even alright, which was saying something. But then again, things had changed while he was away, and Namine was different in certain aspects as well; maybe this was one of them.
She will flip out if she catches me on hers. Omg. Dx
Roxas leaned his head against the back of the couch, and then slowly turned his head toward Namine. He blinked once, exhaling a soft breath as he tried to relax. However, that was hard after everything that just occurred, and the vibe he was beginning to feel. "You can talk to me if you want," Roxas said then, his voice weak. He silently wondered if the pills would cause him to be drowsy; he wasn't sure if he wanted to sleep again or not.

Roxas managed to gulp down all the water, and when he was finished he leaned forward to set his glass on the coffee table. He winced at the pain in his back when he performed the movement, and he slowly leaned back into the couch again, sighing. "I hope those pills work fast," he thought aloud, voice soft.
