Oh.My.Goodness. O.O
Roxas lifted his chin and let it rest lightly on the top of Namine's blonde hair, holding her silently as she released her emotions. As much as it hurt to hear her cry, he knew she needed to do it; it would help her in the long run. Plus, she had a reason to cry--plenty of reasons to cry.
Awesome. :3 You gonna go see the movie sometime too? It's gonna be epic. 8D
"Shh," Roxas said, shushing the girl in his arms softly. He kept his arms wrapped around her, keeping her close. She needed comfort right now, and he was giving it to her as much as he could in his situation. She mattered more than he did; Namine always had. Today's events definitely showed him that. "You're safe now..."
So, tomorrow I'm probably going to wake up around noon (as usual). xD Which means that we could be on at normal time these days, but I'm leaving...
Roxas lowered his head slightly, his face closer to Namine's. He heard her sobs, and they broke his heart. "It's okay, Namine. You're safe," he told her gently, running his hand over her hair. He kept her close to him, ignoring his own pain to confront hers. It was obvious to him that she was terrified, and he didn't blame her. He had been scared too. "He isn't going to hurt you anymore. I promise."
This is sad...but cute. :3
Roxas's body was turned toward Namine, and he took in a breath from the pain coursing through him before speaking. "Shh. It's alright," he assured her. "It's alright." He moved his arm that was around her shoulders and rested his hand against the back of her head, holding her tightly to him.
That's true. xD
Roxas heard the second shot and looked back at the screen automatically. He leaned across Namine, despite the fact that his body refused, and grabbed the remote, turning the movie off immediately. The room was suddenly silent and as he set the remote down on the couch next to him, he turned to Namine. Roxas wordlessly scooted closer to her and wrapped one arm around her shoulders, the other going across her front to bring him to her. His body was screaming in protest, but he held back any signs of pain, knowing that Namine needed him right now.
Well who am I kidding? I'm excited for every plan we do. xD
Roxas turned his head toward Namine when he felt her move on the couch, and he furrowed his eyebrows. He glanced back at the screen and then back at her, finally connecting the dots. "Namine?" he said, reaching over and putting a hand on her knee. The gun. It must've scared her.
:3 Even if the plan is small, I'm actually excited for it?
Roxas watched the movie with keen interest, surprised that it was keeping his attention so well. It was humorous and entertaining, but not only because of the football stuff. He found himself actually watching the movie, and his expression was serious as he observed the current scene.
You have, but it's cool. I'm actually having a movie day with some friends later on this week. I'll suggest it. ;D
Roxas let his eyes linger on Namine for a few seconds longer before turning his head back toward the television. He kept it resting against the back of the couch, thinking that was a better choice. He paid attention to the beginning of the film as it started, exhaling softly and trying to forget about his nagging pains.
Well, that's definitely impressive. xD
Roxas felt himself smile despite how he was feeling. "That's good," he said, turning his eyes to Namine. If all else failed, that would keep him interested. However, he doubted it, considering he and Namine usually liked the same movies. If she liked this one, he had a feeling he would as well; it was just the way they were.
Uh-huh. xP Well, I love Sandra Bullock in comedies, so seeing her play a serious role should be interesting. But I've wanted to watch it for a...
Roxas arched an eyebrow slightly at the description. "Football, huh?" If that was involved, he might actually like it. The rest of the movie seemed a lot like a chick-flick to him. He didn't say that out loud, though, not wanting to offend Namine. But it did seem pretty interesting, he had to admit.
