Lol. Well then I see why you don't like naps as much. xD
Roxas nodded and watched Namine for a few seconds before turning his attention back to the couch. He knew that he wanted Namine close by, but he also knew that it was best for him to lie down right now, and not stay sitting up. The boy rubbed his neck as he looked down at the couch cushions and couch pillows, contemplating.
I love naps. xD
Roxas let go of Namine completely and sat back for a minute, debating on what he wanted to do. He wanted Namine close to him, but at the same time he really just wanted to lie down. He'd passed out sitting up, and when he woke up his neck had been pretty stiff. On top of all his pain, he didn't need a sore neck again either.
I wish I could stall by getting a power nap. That can't happen, unfortunately. I have to get to work. xDD
Roxas felt Namine move, and he opened his eyes and looked down at her, instantly catching sight of her small smile. He nodded slightly, a faint smile of his own making an appearance for the moment. He loosened his hold on the girl before slowly bringing his arms back.
Anyway, I have to get to multitasking. Dx
"...Not really," Roxas answered, being honest. When he moved to comfort Namine earlier, his back had screamed in protest, and even though the pain was fading, it still wasn't as comfortable as he would have liked. He did want to either sit in a different position or lie down, but there was one thing he wanted to keep the same. "But...I still want you next to me."
We're gonna be exhausted. x3
Roxas kept his eyes closed, exhaling softly. "I think these pills are working," he told Namine, not only referring to the pain beginning to disappear. "I feel a little sleepy now, too." It was either the medicine or his own exhaustion, or possibly a combination. Whatever it was, he was getting tired, and sleep was probably the only remedy for that.
Lol. I got ten hours, and I'm exhausted. I have to be up until 3 tonight, too. xP
"Good." Roxas was actually relieved at that answer, even if it didn't necessarily mean she was great. He was just happy Namine had calmed down and let him help her the best he could; it let him know that she still trusted him, which was always good to see. As long as she was feeling better, then he was doing alright as well.
My throat hurts. We're awesome, huh? xDD
"...How're you feeling?" Roxas asked. For the past few minutes he'd been worrying about himself, but now he was curious as to how Namine was. They'd been holding each other for a while, and she wasn't crying anymore. He assumed that was good.
Oh, goodness. I am soo tired. xD
Roxas closed his eyes again, both at his tiredness and the pain. It was definitely lessening, but at the same time, the pills made him want to sleep. But he didn't want to leave Namine up alone again.
xDD Right. Okie dokie. See ya later!
Roxas felt a little better. He was holding Namine, which definitely eased some of his troubles, and the pills were actually taking away the pain. Unfortunately, the relief was only temporary. He felt slightly drowsy, tired from today's events and thinking that maybe the pills had the same side-effect. However, he held onto Namine, not wanting to let go.
Creepy, right? Yeah, hated that. At least he ended up happy in the end, you know? I was about to say the same. I have a big day tomorrow...or...
Roxas's eyes lingered on Namine for a bit longer before he looked over at Ty. He hadn't noticed when the dog woke up, but it was probably when he moved to comfort Namine; Ty had been lying on his feet, after all. Roxas secured his embrace a little more around Namine, letting his cheek lean lightly against the top of her head.
