Kairi realized then that they were going back outside, and she tugged at the straps that tied around her waist. "Yup. Let's go," she said, offering a smile toward Namine before turning toward the exit, ready to get on with the rest of her and Roxas's plan.

"Okay." Kairi hoped that Roxas would be ready in time. She had given him a recipe, knowing that he wasn't the best cook in the world, and hoped that he had it under control. But he seemed very calm and cool about it yesterday, when he talked to her about it. She wasn't exactly worried; she could always buy time, somehow.
There are three: City of Bones, City of Ashes, and City of Glass (in that order). There's a fourth one coming out in March. :3 I'm so excited.
Kairi shook her head and smiled softly. "I didn't really find anything," she said. She wasn't completely lying; she was looking mostly for Namine anyway, so she didn't pay attention to her own style. And she didn't have much money on her in the first place.

Kairi stood up straight once Namine came back out, her hands coming to her sides. Okay, phase one complete. Now she just needed to get Namine home, where her special evening awaited her.
You should read The Mortal Instruments series. Combination of action, suspense, and romance. It's epic. :3
Kairi felt her smile soften once Namine went back into her dressing room, the girl happy that things were going according to plan. If Namine hadn't gotten the dress, things would have been unorderly and she would have had to tell Roxas that it wouldn't work so easily. But then again, if Namine hadn't found a dress, Kairi would have had to tell her that something special was going on and that she had to borrow one of the redhead's. But thankfully it didn't come to that; Namine was still clueless, and for the better.
Eh. It depends on what kind of books you read, I guess. That genre is interesting to me, so yeah. xD
"Sounds like a good deal to me," Kairi said then, looking at the dress. It looked lovely, so she definitely thought it would suit tonight's events. Of course, Namine wasn't aware of them. Not yet, anyway.
Evil? Hmm... I guess it could be seen that way. When I first heard of the book, my friend described it as a girl who fell in love with a vampire...
"Mmhm," Kairi hummed in response, nodding. Wait until Roxas sees this! she thought in excitement, knowing there were still some steps left in their plan. "How much is it?" she asked then, though she didn't think it would really matter. The dress was too perfect to pass up.

Kairi looked up from staring at her shoes, her eyes falling on Namine. When they did, they instantly widened and she gasped. "Namine!" she cooed, smiling. "It looks great!" And it did. She wanted to laugh at the thought of Roxas's face when he saw it; he would be stunned.
Breaking Dawn, she went whacko. Seriously. My mom didn't even finish reading it, and she had 8 pages left. xDD
While Namine tried on her dress, Kairi waited outside. She leaned against the wall across from Namine's dressing room, her hands still linked behind her back. The position was comfortable for her, for some reason, and she found herself doing it a lot lately.
My favorite book was Eclipse. :3 So awesome.
Kairi approached the dressing room area and came to a halt, looking back at Namine. She nodded to her, offering a gentle smile. She was sure she would look great in the dress. Hopefully it fit as well, because Namine seemed happy with her choice.
