Roxas lowered his sight to Namine when she moved, his blue eyes falling on what he could see of her face. She seemed better, expression-wise. That was good, but he had a feeling that she could be shaken up for the next few days. He would be with her, though. Roxas couldn't imagine being away from her after all that happened earlier today.
You know, thinking about it now, Bella was actually kinda...annoying. xD In the books, but in the movies she's not that bad; I actually like...
Roxas caught movement out of the corner of his eye, and he turned his head slightly when he heard the soft sniffling sound. His eyes fell on Namine's loyal companion, who seemed interested in his master's condition. Roxas kept his hold on her, regardless, not really wanting to let go yet.

Roxas's smile dimmed as silence engulfed the room again, and he allowed his eyes to open. He stared forward, his eyes directed to a window to the side of the couch. He looked outside as he felt his pain come back again, though not as powerfully. The pills were kicking in, he assumed. And he was sure that Namine's presence was helping as well.
Yup. :3 But I happen to think he's not only a creeper as well, but obsessive and too protective. Give the girl a dang break! Sheesh! xD
Roxas's pain subsided for the moment, allowing him to smile a little. "Of course," he said softly. He wouldn't have it any other way; Namine was the angel, he was just the guardian. It was how it was meant to be.

Roxas let the silence settle in, the boy keeping his eyes closed as his arms stayed wrapped around the girl he loved. But that was when he realized there was nothing to really distract him. He felt his pain come back, and he held back any sounds of pain for Namine's sake. She was suffering enough; she didn't need to worry about him either.
Lol. xD But seriously, Jacob was so much better for her! So sweet; that's why I like him so much. :3
Roxas felt protective of Namine as he held her in his arms. It wasn't a new feeling, because he had always been protective of her. While he was away, though, he believed that some of it had gone away, simply because he wasn't by her side. But because of that, he was even more protective of her now, and he knew it was going to stay that way.
I know! Especially when you have your own personal heater right there for the winter time. :3
Roxas smiled slightly, closing his eyes. "I know," he said softly. His hand stopped running along Namine's back as he held her closer to him, though he thought it was impossible. "And you're my Light." He believed that made them even, at least in his eyes.

Roxas continued to rub Namine's back, silently comforting her as he held her. She was alright, she was safe. Jeff wasn't going to be messing with her anymore; he had a feeling his last impression on the jock was enough to convince him to stay away.

Roxas continued to hold Namine, lightly rubbing her back with one of his hands. He wished he could take back today, simply because Namine wouldn't be so terrified. He wanted the best for her, and what happened today definitely wasn't it, even if Jeff would stay away from her for now on.
