Karina found her way out of the castle the same way they got in and found a seat in the court yard. /if she could never return home then she had nothing to ask because she had nothing to look forward to or wonder about. She didn't know what was next for her and what she would do once this was all over but she didn't want to find those answers out from a stupid mirror. She figured she would forget the past and move forward onto new adventures. She would probably end up drifting for the foreseeable future because she had no where to go. Karina hoped that none of the others would bring up what she said in there because it wasn't something she was fond of talking about. "Forget the past and move forward, there are better things out there than that dumpy town you came form." She told herself out loud.
"If you won't take it then I will give it to someone else. I have nothing to ask the mirror, lets leave it at that okay?" Karina was getting annoyed with Luna now. She didn't need her question, she didn't want her question. Why did Luna keep trying to force it on her. Karina turned and started walking towards the chamber doors. "I will wait for you guys outside."
"The only question I could come up with to ask was if I would ever be allowed back home, but I know the answer already. I am a disgrace to my family and our culture. On top of that I stole a ship and ran away. Where I come from that is a serious offense. I can never return home.... So no, I don't have anything to ask, go ahead take my question. I don't care." Karina explained to Luna.
Karina made up her mind "I don't need a question." She stated. "The only thing I have to ask I already know the answer to. Luna you can have my question if you want." She said. Her voice had a slightly sad undertone to it but nothing overly noticeable. Her tone turned harsher as she turned back to Luna. "Don't mistake this for me liking you, because I still don't. I just have nothing to ask and Krowley has already asked two questions."
First of all Canada is technically bigger then the States is. And second Canada is more a peace seeking country. We don't want wars, it doesn't matter if we can win them or not. We prefer to keep it peaceful. Besides we don't have much of an army for that reason. And we are plenty far advanced without having a war to get that way. Because of how we chose to do things we have better trade relations with Britain which benefits us. Who cares if our history is dull. Personally I am happy there wasn't as many wars as in the States. I am proud of that fact. And we Canadians have a decent relationship with France because instead of trying to drive them out of our country we gave them a entire province and let them keep their ways. There was still a bit of a rebellion and fight but nothing to major. Quebec doesn't really consider itself a part of Canada because of it's different culture, but they are. We Canadian remain in the good books of a lot of countries because of our peace seeki9ng nature, while the states are despised by many places and a lot of it has to do with them being a super power in the second world war. If getting along with other nations and being peaceful means having a boring history I will gladly take that trade off.
I had that happen to me. Didn't need surgery but they did have to put a hole in my thumb nail to let the blood escape and the nail did end up falling off. Very unpleasant experience
So what if we didn't declare our independence. How does it make a difference? Seriously I doubt things would be any different if we had. Besides we didn't have to have a war to get to where we are now. We saved thousands of lives by doing it this way and remain more of a peace seeking country. That is a good thing/ It is part of North America but when most people refer to Americans they refer to people from the United States of America, not people from North, South, or Central America because they could all then be classified as Americans and that is a far to wide of an area. I am Canadian not American. And I am very argumentative.
first off: second: We gained indepence from Britain in time. We didn't fight for it we earned it. We have almost nothing to do with them anymore. The only thing we have is someone in our Parliament to represent the queen but they don't do anything so yeah. We are independent.
We can do what we want. I don't care what you Americans think.
Thanksgiving already passed for me.
I play it for the story. I also like the game play. But to me the story is the most important part of an rpg. If it doesn't have a good story I won't play it even if it has good game play and visual effects.
-Light- "So that is the strongest man in the area eh?" Light stated. "What is his name, do you know?" He asked as he gripped his deathnote tighter. If there was someone around stronger then him, he must get rid of him. It wouldn't be a problem though, it seems that this guy didn't know they were there meaning it was easy to kill him without a fight. On the other hand it might be good to get more people on his side. Once he had enough people on his side he could finally rule this world.
"Put me down Kupo." Mog said to Mikey. Mog paused for a second before turning to Lightning. "Something is wrong Kupo. I am getting a strange feeling. I don't know what it is Kupo. Something to do with the goddess." Mog said."The goddess? Cosmos? Has something happened to Cosmos?" Tifa asked Mog worried. "I don't know Kupo." Mog replied Noel looked at the new group of people. "Hi, I'm Noel" he introduced himself. "And that hot head over there is Snow." "Hey there." Snow waved at them. "You guys in need of a hero?" "Shut up already!" Tifa and Noel said at the same time. "Okay, okay I get the picture." -Light- "Someone who looks like that, eh? Alright I will keep my eyes open." Light said as he glanced over at the person who used to look like him but now looked like someone else. "What is with that power of yours anyway, it is interesting? Oh and what should I call you?" He asked.
Snow- What no. You can't tie me up. Noel- I have the rope, Lightning want to hold him down? Me- Do it.
"Yeah but Lightning is here so I am sure we will figure it out. We can trust her." Noel replied to Noctis as he looked over at Lightning. "Cosmos should be able to help direct us in what we have to do here and hopefully how to get home. That is why we have to go see her." Tifa was talking to anyone who didn't know about Cosmos at this point to let them know all she remembered from her cycles in the war. "No of course I haven't forgotten, a hero never forgets." Snow stated. "I was out making sure that the world and our town was safe for you. I wouldn't want anything happening to you. I don't think I would survive another long journey with your sister." He joked. -Light- Light smirked. "Sounds good to me." He said as he made his way towards the river. Now all he had to do was get his hands on this guys deathnote, then he would have two. He would give it to someone he deemed trust worth. Someone like Misa that he knew he could control. Whatever this thing was that looked like him wasn't something he was willing to trust. But he would be good to have around for the time being. And depending on how thing turn out he may or may not keep it around. Light was trying to decide if it would turn on him when the time came for him to rule over his perfect world or not.
"I am not after just criminals, I am after anyone who dares stand in my way. I have a feeling there are no real criminals in this world, just those who will join me and those who will oppose me. I have met some of those who will oppose me already and have gotten there names, I am just waiting for the perfect time to write their names in my deathnote." Light explained. "But yes your right, we should be moving on, collecting more names so they can be written in my deathnote when the time comes." Light stood and started to walk away. "Just where do you suggest we go?"
Light turned and looked at this figure of himself. His eye was first drawn to the death note, the fact that this thing looked like him didn't bother him in the slightest. "You have one too? But do you know the limits of the notebook, what you can and can't do with it?" He asked, he didn't wait for an answer before continuing. "I do, and I plan to make this a perfect world. I will rule this world and everyone will know the name Kira. I just need to figure out who to kill and when so I don't draw too much suspicion to myself." He turned and look himself in the eyes. "Are you with me?" -L- "Yeah, sure." He responded. The number remained at 12 for the moment. There was a good possibility that this man was bad, but at the same time he didn't do anything to make himself seem bad. L decided he was going to keep a close eye on this man.
Snow- Hey what did I do? I haven't said a word sis.
Karina looked at the others in silence. At the moment she had no questions to ask. The only one that came to mind were, what those blue things were that attacked the girl. At the same time she didn't care enough about them to waste her one question on it. All she knew was that she could take those guys out and that was all that mattered. So she decided to think and let everyone else go first, perhaps she wouldn't use her question, maybe she would let someone else take it. Or maybe she would use it to see if she was ever allowed home again. She didn't know at the moment.
"Oh yeah, a hero never loses or backs down!" Snow said in confidence. He turned to Tifa and Noctis. "Hey there, you know my sister Light?" "Hi, nice to meet you." Noel said as he offered his hand to Noctis. " So where are we anyways? Does anyone know. And who is Cosmos?" Noel questioned. "Hi. Any ways Cosmos is the goddess of harmony, we should find her and maybe she can tell us exactly where we are. It seems to me like this is a war of the gods but it seems different than the ones in the past. So I am not sure." Tifa answered Noel as she completely ignored Snows presence. -L- "The way that you state that you are a good guy makes me doubt it. Not many people introduce themselves by stating they are good." L observed. He started running numbers in his head he came up with a 12 percent chance that this guy was bad. Depending on his reaction that number may go up or down.
