Be grateful. I have to see a doctor. =(
Roxas leaned forward slightly, eager to hear Namine's opinion. "So... What do you think?" he asked, waiting for her reaction. She ate it; he was happy about that at least, since she didn't spit it out. That was always good.
Back in like, January. It only lasted like, 5 minutes though. This one lasted much, much longer, and was a lot scarier. =/
Roxas felt his smile widen at Namine's laughter, his thoughts on the incident fading away. "But, I think I redeemed myself tonight," he said, motioning toward her plate. "See for yourself." He'd tried a small bite in the kitchen to make sure it was done, and he was pretty satisfied. It was Namine's opinion that mattered most, though; this was for her, after all.
Haha, thanks for that. I agree! xD
Roxas's eyes widened slightly at the mention, but he proceeded to blush as he chuckled in nervousness. "Yeah, I remember. Sora kept laughing at me," he acknowledged. The brunet had found amusement in the accident, especially when Roxas worked to control the smoke in his kitchen. Eventually, though, everything calmed down and he had to throw the ham out. But at least nobody was hurt, and nothing in his kitchen was ruined...completely.
Tons, but I'm still a little shaky. Once I eat dinner I think I'll feel a little better. But I am going to bed early tonight, because that may be...
Roxas straightened a little, glancing down at the food in front of him and then back up at the girl across from him. "Um... I hope you like the spaghetti," he said, trying at conversation. "Kairi lent me a recipe. You know how, um, unlucky I am when it comes to cooking." He gave in to the urge to run his hand through his hair, smiling nervously. He was trying to act cool and collected, but it felt like a first date all over again. Roxas wasn't really good at these kinds of things, but by Namine's reaction he thought he was doing a pretty good job.
I don't really know. I woke up and couldn't breathe, and then I felt sick to my stomach and like I was going to pass out. So my dad had to talk me...
Roxas felt his smile grow a little more, recognizing Namine's shyness almost immediately. His head remained tilted to the side because of his new curiosity, instead of his lingering admiration from across the table. "Thanks," he said then, fighting the urge to scratch the back of his head. He wasn't sure what to say... It felt like the beginning of their relationship all over again.
I'm recovering from a panic attack I had really early this morning; I've been sleeping all day. xD
After a small period of silence, Roxas found himself smiling a little. And he was sure it was for more than one reason. His eyes took in Namine's appearance for the millionth time within the last five minutes. "You look beautiful," he complimented her softly, his head leaning to the side a small bit as his eyes lingered on her.
Sorry about not getting on earlier. Some things happened today...and I'm a little messed up right now. =/
Once Namine sat down, Roxas moved to his chair across from her. He looked across the table at her, having positioned the candles just right so that he could see her face despite the centerpiece. He couldn't really take his eyes off her; she looked so beautiful.
Roxas chuckled as he started leading Namine to her seat. "Kairi's a pretty good accomplice," he said with a smile, separating himself from his girlfriend as he moved to pull out her chair for her. He motioned to it with his hand slightly. "After you," he said with the gesture, looking at Namine with bright blue eyes. Tonight was going well so far, and he was going to make sure it would stay that way.
Nighty night!
"Yup," Roxas said with a small nod. His smile spread into a triumphant grin, the boy thinking of how well things turned out. Kairi had done a good job at keeping Namine busy throughout the afternoon. It all had worked out successfully.

Sooo. See you later on...today? xDD
Roxas turned his head to look at the girl on his arm, a kind smile on his face. "Surprise," he told her gently. He studied her expression, and decided that it was a good one. She responded well to everything else; he knew that even Namine, who didn't like surprises, would enjoy this.
