Sapphire attempted to dodge the spell but failed and got hit in the shoulder by it. It was at this moment that Sapphire could no longer control her darkness. Her eye changed to red as she leaped forward and attack Xross again. This time with far more strength then before.

Kaya turned to R as he entered the castle. "She is weaker then I thought when she holds back her darkness like she has been doing. Xross on the other hand is highly skilled, he won't need training. Sapphire will need a lot of training and I think Xross can help with that. She is still just a scared little girl. We need to change that." She explained as she turned back and continued to watch the fight.

"Welcome back." Louvel smiled and offered Spine a hand up. "Your at the mystic tower. The place I have been training. You tried to absorb the power in my keyblade and passed out." Louvel continued to explain. " Lets go find the others. We have a mission to do."

Louvel walked down the path to the keyhole while thinking about what Dilan had told him. He started questioning his own path before realizing that even if that was just where he was told to go, it didn't matter. It was where he wanted to be. On the other hand there was the issue of his sister Sapphire. Could he really leave it to chance whether or not she would chose light on her own? Shouldn't he guide her to the light? Or would that just turn her away from it more. Louvel was confused but he put it out of his mind. He summoned his keyblade, aiming it at the keyhole so a beam of light came out emitting a bright light and locking the keyhole.

Once the light faded he found himself back in the kings study. He was still confused and still holding his keyblade. He looked at spine hoping that he would wake up soon.

Sapphire may not be overly strong but being a thief she was definitely fast. Keeping light on her feet she was able to dodge Xross's attack in time. While still moving out of his way she used her blizzard attack back. Sapphire wasn't one to use magic and wasn't very good with it so her attack was just a basic level one blizzard spell, but she hoped it would do the trick. When she was far enough away from where Xross had sent his magic she stopped and prepared for what ever he would do next.

"Remember Sapphire, the battle is only over when one of you are dead or your opponent decides to show mercy on you. When you think it is safe do not stop." Kaya cautioned her sister as she watched the match progress. She was slightly eager for R to return so she could report on how each of them where doing and see what he would suggest doing for further training and where to start with Sapphire.

OOC: and with that gentlemen, makes my 100th post. Only took me a year and a half but I finally made it to 100. lol

Karina raised her keyblade up to block Kross's attack.She waas forced to take a step back to help brace herself against the attack. She then used both hands tom push his keyblade away from her. She smirked slightly as she took a step forward and went to jab Kross straight on in the stomach.

"Fine lets do this, NOT because I feel like gauging each others skills. I just feel like fighting." Karina clarified as she stepped forward ready to spar. Fighting wasn't necessarily her strong suite, picking fights on the other hand was a different story. And she could never back down from a challenge.

Great story so far Oda. I love your characters and your little introduction to them at the beginning. I can't wait to read more.

Karina got up and followed everyone to watch the practice. She still remained at the back of the group away from peoples judging stares. She quietly watched them train as she thought about her own training she did. She practiced against trees, deep in the woods where no one could see or hear her. She would usually disappear for an hour after school to hide in the woods before heading home. That was a daily occurrence for her back home. Not ideal for training and if she got hurt there would not have been anyone there to help her but she had to do what she had to do.

Karina summoned her keyblade and stared at it blankly then turned her attention back to the training.

Overhearing Luna's comment over how she had to earn her keyblade and train to use it made Karina think she didn't really deserve to be there. She had no form of formal training with it. She didn't even really earn or deserve it. Her keyblade came to her one day in the woods after she ran away from home and got herself in a little trouble with the heartless. Any training she had was self taught when she was able to get away from her home. She bet everyone there had some sort of formal training with a weapon but her. Felling more out of place then before Karina sunk down lower against the wall and observed the match between Luna and one of the new guys.

Karina heard one of the newer members comments and scowled. Luna was obviously upset and didn't want to talk. He had no right to tell her that was rude. She didn't even like Luna but wouldn't go far enough to call her rude for being upset. "There is another one to add to my list." Karina thought as she watched and waited to see how Luna would respond, scowl still plastered on her face.

Lightning drew her sword and hit the mans gunblade away before jumping back herself, flipping the blade part under so it turned into a gun. "Garden?" Lightning questioned not letting her guard down. "No. Now are you a soldier for the Sanctum or are you a L'cie?" Civilians don't usually take up weapons." She did not take her eyes off the man for a minute as she waited for his response.

"I don't know where you are from but I don't think things work that way here." Cloud replied blankly as he drew his sword. He didn't want to fight but would anyway since this kid needed to be taught a lesson. "You won't last long here with that attitude kid." He warned him.

-Vincent- Zanarkin
Vincent observed the group curious what was going on. He stayed in the shadows and watched them. He considered offering them help but didn't think it was a good idea as of right now. He slipped further into the shadows then appeared on the roof and continued to observe.

"Stop this Moonflow I am not ready to fight him." Sapphire stood and didn't attack again trying to catch her breath.

Moonflow didn't give into her sisters pleas, instead she simply responded "If you don't keep attacking and keep your guard up your opponent will just end up killing you." Moonflow nodded at Xross to say keep going.

Sapphire stared at her sister. She was scared and unsure how to handle the situation so she kept pleading. "Moonflow no. I am not strong enough. Listen to me Kaya...." Sapphire caught herself as soon as she said that. She had not called her sister that for years despite that being her real name. After their brother left she wanted to be something more and thought Moonflow would be a better name for that. Over time she convinced everyone to call her M oonflow instead. "Kaya..... please...."

Moonflow was shocked to here her original name. "How long has it been since I heard that name? I changed it when I wanted to become a hero didn't I. Now that I think of it this name is unfitting to me due to the reason I changed. That is right Sapphire. Call me Kaya. I am a different person from who I used to be. I no longer want to be a hero so why should I have a name for one." Moonflow spoke in a bit of a harsh tone. "Now finish the fight. It isn't over till Xross or I say it is. You don't have a say. I am only doing this to help you improve your strength."

Sapphire stood there holding her sword up not prepared to fight. She attacked once again anyways though.

"I am not." Louvel said perfectly aware of his shortcomings. "But my master king mickey, he is. He is far more expirienced and knowledgable then I." He will be the one leading Spine down the correct path" Louvel finished.
