Chapter One

Sora, Riku, and Kairi were on Destiny Islands reading the letter King Mickey had sent them. It read:
"Riku and Kairi there is need of you with me as soon as possible in Disney Castle, and to you, Sora, hope you are well."
Sora read these words and asked "Why would he not want me there?" Riku after some time said "Who knows? The King thinks strangely at times though it makes him all the more wise." Kairi then added "It's probably nothing, Sora. Don't worry. "I guess you are right," Sora said.

Kairi stares at Sora and Riku. Kairi's eyes start to shine.

"Why don't you two go rest for tommorow Riku and I have to go to the king tommorow. " "I guess we should. Are you coming, Riku?" "I'll be there in a while." "Okay see you in a while."

Sora starts to go but turns back to say "Are you coming?" but sees Kairi and Riku kissing.

Riku says, "We are alone...." Kairi starts a reply but looks up and sees Sora. She quickly pushes Riku away. Kairi has a slight blush on her face. "Sora..." Sora is lost for words but says, "Are you coming, Riku?" his voice and stare almost openly hostile. Riku is also lost for words but manages to say, "Yes right behind you..."

Chapter Two

Sora was in his bed in his house on Destiny Islands.

Sora could never sleep peacefully again, though he had had that problem for what seemed like forever. When he had saw Riku and Kairi alone than memory had left a dent in his heart that made him wish he could rip out his eyes, though even if he did he knew he would never forget what he had seen. When he had talked to Riku he had had the urge to kill Riku, though this urge was not new, though it was new for the urge to be on a friend... Ever since he had been turned into a Heartless and back into a human by Kairi he had had the urge, it had made a shadow flame that fed the furnace of darkness that had replaced his heart. When he first turned into a Heartless and back into a human the shadow flame had been small. Though when he turned into Anti Form it had got stronger, even now whenever he turned into Anti Form he could feel it growing stronger. It had also got stronger when he and Riku were alone in the Realm of Darkness. When he was out there and seen Riku and Kairi alone though, he had almost lost complete control of it. At night the shadow flame would burn away all the shields of calmness he had set infront of his heart and mind, then it whisperd to him. The things it would whisper to him...It whisperd of endless sorrow and loss, it whisperd of what he had lost and what he was to lose. It whisperd that: "No matter how hard you try they will die. Eventually Stars burn out, and water runs dry."
