Angelina's hand stopped over one of many scratches in the trees. She had thought she heard something behind her, a voice. It had made her jump when she first heard it. For someone who spent her time cheating and tricking people she was rather jumpy. She never outright stole anything but she got most everything for free. She used her power to change into different people, as that person she would talk her way into getting things. She usually transformed into someone with power hence her current form. Although she doubted her current form would do anything for her in the new town she was going to, she would have to change forms once she got there to something more appropriate for the town. Angelina slowly turned around to look at where the voice was coming from A young man stood behind her, but she could tell he was more then that, not sure exactly what he was but more. Should this be someone she feared? No, she didn't fear much but she should be cautious of it. Before she had time to do anything she saw another thing move. This one was definitely not human. More like a glowing light then anything else. She didn't know what to think of it. It seemed as though they hadn't noticed her yet which was good, she didn't need trouble at the moment. Angelina turned back around and quietly started to walk away, when she was a few more feet away from then she began to jog which turned into a sprint. But the high heals she was wearing was making it difficult so she simply kicked them off while she was running. She was not running out of fear, simply because she didn't want trouble and she thought that if they noticed her that there might be trouble. And Angelina wasn't one for fighting, she preferred trickery and stealth over any form of fighting.
Karina halted at the sound of Krowley's voice. She didn't turn around though, just stood there to think. Am I really just falling straight into a trap set out for us? Am I just being irrational right now, doing this only because I was told to do something else? And what about the people in there, how many will die from my decision?" All these questions came from three words that Krowley said. "He's baiting you." These three simple words made Karina's mind fill with the thoughts she suppressed when she acted on impulse. And these impulsive moves is what tended to get her in trouble cause she never truly thought over her actions. She acted on emotions, emotions that tended to be dark and un-trusting. Her brothers warning echoed through her head. "If you keep going on like this you will get yourself killed. I can't let that happen to you!" Karinas brother yelled at her as he followed her into the woods one late night. It was a mere week before she had left her world to help at the land of departure. "These emotions are going to get you into trouble one day. I beg of you let them go, I want to see the cheerful eager young girl that was my little sister not this." "That girl is gone." Karina said in a monotone voice as she pulled away from her brother and ran off into the woods. Karina focused back in on Krowleys talking part way through his little speech. She just caught his statistics on something. Something about a fifty- fifty chance. People could die from this choice here and now. Could she live knowing that? She didn't think she could. Karina slowly turned around, her eye diverted from the rest of the group, too embarrassed to make eye contact with anyone at the moment. "Y-your right..." She mumbled. She cleared her throat then spoke again louder. "I am not willing to take that chance. The odds are not on either sides favour which makes it all that worse." Karina glanced at Kel for a second before listening to the end of Krowley's speech. "Vanitas. You better watch your back. I am coming for you. Not now but soon I will be there to bring you to your knees." Karina whispered. But the last comment got her thinking again. She thought she was doing what she was doing for the right reasons. Vanitas was an evil man, he had kidnapped a young woman, he had to pay didn't he? He had done wrong to other worlds too and this one. He needed to be put to a stop. But was she doing it for the sake of the people living here or because her pride was wounded when she failed her mission thanks to him and his friends. She wanted to save the people didn't she? Would that not be done by eliminating the immediate threat then going back to deal with the stronger but less immediate threat that waited for them after? Karina had made up her mind. "He's right." She said to Kel. She then turned to see that Krowley was already leaving. He was a good 20 feet ahead of her now so she would have to sprint to catch up, but that wasn't a big deal. A little extra work out never hurt anyone. She wasn't going to be left behind on this mission or allow herself to drag down her team. With Keyblade in hand she sprinted off to catch up to Krowley hoping that Kel would follow. No one should be left behind either. He was on her team, regardless whether she knew him or not, whether she liked him or not, he was a team mate at the moment. If there was anything she had learned so far from the time she had spent away from home is that you always should rely on your team, they need you like you need them. Judgement could wait for a later time, a fight was a fight. There are no friends just allies. People you could trust, and she knew these fellow keyblade wielders where people she could trust to have her back in battle no matter what. Even if she hated them they still seemed to be willing to help her in combat. A concept that seemed so foreign to someone who had no friends or allies on'y family or enemies.
