Any reason behind it, or was it just because?
Ah...okay.
...this is starting to look an awful lot like Gundam Seed... Okay, first off, genetic manipulation: There are a lot of pros and cons to this innovating and advancing technology, but the one thing that needs to be realized, even if this quote has been used to death: With great power comes great responsibility. I'm not just talking about the possibility of changing your kid's characteristics, I'm also talking about how it affects the rest of the world. Yes, chances are we will get to a point where we will be able to help our kids by making sure they don't receive diseases like multiple sclerosis, etc., but by that time the rest of the world and the careers that follow will also be adapted to it. Think about this for a minute: We reach that point in the future where we can identify the chances of receiving certain diseases and cancer, through a map of the genome, and we find out we've got something like, say, cancer. Would we still qualify for the same things a person without it would? Would we still be able to receive health insurance? Think about it. The insurance company, by this time, would have access to all the client's medical records, and by choice, could decline, in order to save money. As far as genetic manipulation should go, it should only be used to for medical purposes. To go to anything else, for beautification or for because you think it's the best way to get what you want out of your child...I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't be happy with who they are.
Just curious: What posessed you to ask if I was seeing someone?
Eep!...maybe I'm better off not knowing.
Dare I ask?
Huh...okay. No, I'm not seeing anyone. Kind have bad luck when it comes to women.
Umm...no...why do you ask??
Say what????
Yeah, same as me.
So so. School's keeping me busy, and I finally got a break.
Man, why's everyone changing their names lately??
Ah, pasta...I usually eat instant ramen, meself. :3
Fellow Burn Notice fan! How are you?
With the way the show is going so far, I don't think we need to worry about that any time soon. Besides, we must find out who burned Michael!!
Again, agreed! lol, I keep imagining that, close to the third or fourth season finale, we find out Michael's father is alive, and his reaction.
It is for me, too, but at the same time, you cannot deny how well the actors fit into the character profiles! We've got another one!
Well, yeah! Who couldn't love a hypochondriac mother...who always hassles you...especially when she refuses to see the dad as abusive...actually, now that I think about it...
Except this guy's got a better wit...and stranger family... ROFL! HIS MOTHER AND BROTHER!
Seriously! I don't know what inspiration the writers get, but I hope it doesn't stop for a long time! I love how they use actual, real spy techniques in their shows. Everytime they use one I recognize, I get excited!
