Xarkness was wandering down the streets of Traverse Town. Xarkness: I must harvest it. I must become powerful enough to complete it. I must see the eternal dawn of eternal dusk. I must do this. Darkness is all and I am the embodiment of darkness. I am what I am because I chose to serve the light once. Now the light serves me. Th light serves darkness. Meanwhile: Sephiroth rises into the air and sends Dark Orbs into the tornado of flames. The flames consume them and Cloud dashes out of the flames. Cloud teleports above Cloud and sends a beam of light at Sephiroth who sends it into the tornado of flames with his sword.

Sephiroth stands up after a few moments to think. "Where am I? Is this what I must do to accomplish my fate? Is this a punishment for sins or is it my reward for following in Mother's path? I shall finish it. I have to finish it.
