...'Scuse me, momentarily confused over here. O.o
Nathaniel's frown only deepened at the thought of the Princess. He had lost her to the Keyblade master, her strongest protector. He laughed softly, though without much humor. "There's only one consequence I'm facing, and that's death," Nathaniel said, looking up at Sora. "Isn't that right?" Kairi could hear the conversation faintly, only catching her name and a few other words. She didn't like the sound of it, so she crossed her arms over her dirty coat, letting the cold nip at her skin as she stared at the boy who had tricked her into giving him her heart.
That's an excellent way to put it, my friend. xD
Nathaniel's head hurt badly, his pulse throbbing harshly and causing him pain. He groaned slightly, but otherwise opened his eyes when he heard footsteps. He saw Sora standing above him and the Prince simply frowned. "What?" he spat. He knew that he had lost, and that he was going to die one way or another. He'd failed his father, his kingdom, and he couldn't imagine going back a failure.
I know what you mean. xD There's something about the RP that you can never fully capture in your own piece of writing.
Kairi saw Sora rise to his feet out of the corner of her eye, but she only glanced at him, her eyes going back to the rubble like there was something pulling them there. She was shocked into silence, not sure what to say or if she could say anything at all. It was when she saw something move underneath all of the rubble that she gasped, one of her cold hands covering her mouth at the sight. There was Prince Nathaniel, crawling out from underneath all of the mess. Nathaniel winced, his body protesting all of the movement as he dragged himself out of the pile of debris. He didn't stop until his legs were free, and then he collapsed on the snow that was underneath him now. He knew instantly by the light feeling he got in his head and the pain enveloping his body that he was going to die, unless he managed to somehow heal himself.
Lol. Me too. xD
Kairi stood up straight, turning around to face the area once more. She lowered her arms, seeing that where the building once stood was now a big pile of rubble and covered in grey dust. She coughed slightly, her eyes scanning the area for any sign of the boy-turned-dragon. He was nowhere to be found.
Your ideas always turn out epic. xD
Kairi watched as the building finally came down on the dragon, causing a gust of wind and clouds of dust to fly. She turned her head away, lifting her arms to cover her face as the loud rumble of the building reached her ears. After a few seconds, it faded, and she knew the building was completely down.
...Oh my. O.o
Kairi heard the door burst open and immediately saw Sora. She ran toward him instantly, at the same time looking up at the building that was falling apart. Nathaniel was still in there, she realized, and a part of her panicked. But she knew it was the foolish part of her, the part of her heart that had been tricked into falling for him; he deserved what he was getting, she kept telling herself. Kairi reached Sora and bent down next to him. "Sora," she said worriedly, her voice shaking. She heard a roar and her eyes darted toward the building once more. Nathaniel. Nathaniel's tail whipped to one side as he tried to scramble away from the pain, crashing into one side of the wall. That seemed to trigger the rest. Debris started to fall on him repeatedly, hitting his head and back and forcing him to the ground, helpless to the building that was collapsing on top of him.
I agree 100%. :3
Kairi stood in the middle of the empty street, turning around and looking up at the building when she heard a low rumble. She gasped when she saw a part of the brick building fall off on the side, and she knew instantly what was happening. Nathaniel shook his head and his eyes focused once more, but Sora was no longer where he was last. The Prince's attention no longer was trained on that, however. He heard something from above and looked up, but not before another piece of rubble fell on the back of his already injured neck, causing him to whail in pain once more.
Exactly!!! xDD
Nathaniel noticed that the attacks on his neck stopped after a moment, and he turned his head. He growled at Sora lowly, baring his teeth. But just then something hard fell on the top of his head, snapping his teeth shut and stunning the dragon.
How could I not love this?! xP
Kairi's eyes darted to Sora and then to the window he had broken. She hesitated slightly but ran over to the open spot like he had ordered, another one of Nathaniel's roars only pushing her more. She climbed up on a desk that was positioned right in front of the broken window, looking back one more time before she escaped the crumbling building.
:3 I adore it as well.
Nathaniel didn't know what happened, but he blinked and Sora was gone, and there was a terrible pain in his neck. He cried out in pain, the scream loud leaving his throat. Kairi jumped slightly in fright when Nathaniel started to roar, and she looked down to the ground, only to realize that Sora was no longer there. Confused, she looked back up at the dragon directly ahead of her, knowing that Sora must have done something to get him there so quickly. Kairi heard something crumble above her and as soon as she looked up, something started to fall. She stepped back, squealing slightly as the ceiling from the second floor fell down to where she had been recently standing.
