Kairi jumped slightly at the touch, though she wasn't sure why. She looked at Sora's hand and then at his face, not moving her hand from his forehead. By his grunt she could tell he wasn't in peace anymore, which was a shame. She would wish peace on anybody right now, because she wanted it too.
It was pretty whacky of me, I know. xDD
Kairi focused on Sora's expression, blinking her tears away for the time being. He seemed to be coming out of it. She could tell not only by his movement, but by his expression; while he was sleeping, there had been no emotion on his face, but now it seemed like he was experiencing pain. She kept the damp rag against Sora's head, having to adjust it a little when he moved.
xDD Yeah, kinda freaked me out for a second.
Kairi sighed softly, but didn't move. She guessed that was one of the reasons it was so easy for her to welcome Nathaniel into her life; she had been lonely and upset. Of course, she ended up the way she started, but worse. This time, she was completely heartbroken and shattered, by somebody who had been deceiving her all along. She felt tears spring up in her eyes once more, but she fought them off. Kairi didn't want to cry anymore, even if it was inevitable.
For a second I thought you said "Goodbye". I was like, wait what?!! O.o xDD
Kairi held the rag to Sora's head, her hand forcing his bangs up slightly. They tickled her skin, though, which was odd to her. It was a foreign feeling, something she hadn't felt for a long time. It was just one of the things that she neglected to think about over the past four months that had to deal with Sora. It had been painful to think about him over that time.

Kairi finally stopped crying after sitting on the floor for an hour, and when she got up, she peeked into the living room to find Sora passed out, literally, on the couch. It was where she found herself now, sitting on the floor beside his head as she held a damp rag to his forehead. It had taken a little bit of effort, but she had managed to get him to lie down across the length of her couch. She'd gotten up numerous times to make the rag wet again, since Sora had been passed out for a solid two hours now. Kairi continued to sit there, rubbing at her puffy red eyes as she looked at him, knowing he had gone through so much because of her. Taking care of him was the least she could do.

But Kairi knew that crying wouldn't do anything to help her. It would help her deal with her emotions, maybe, but it wouldn't take the pain of her reality away. It was a sad thought to have, which only made her more emotional, but it was life. Her life, which had been shattered just like her heart because of him.

Kairi sniffled quietly, trying not think at all. It only brought her pain, whether she thought of how cruel she had been treated and fooled or if her memories haunted her. It was torture; she didn't want to deal with it anymore.

Roxas pulled the phone from his ear and shut it, just sitting there. Things about Nathan, or Nathaniel, were worse than they all thought. He knew he needed to talk to Namine and fill her in. She was probably worried sick about Kairi. Kairi cried silently into her arms, but she noted that it was what also surrounded her--silence. Sora wasn't speaking anymore. She was partially happy about it, because then she wouldn't have to hear him and Roxas talk about her or Nathaniel any longer. It was painful to even think his name, after all he had done to her. Kairi wasn't sure if she would ever recover from this.
