I always fall asleep at my grandparents'. It's so boring there. xDD
Kairi lowered her eyes, bringing up a hand and wiping away the trails from her tears. "I'm sorry," she finally apologized. She let her hand rest lightly on Sora's chest again, though she was hesitant about it. "I... I was just so lonely. He was there and things just..." Kairi wasn't really sure how to continue, so she let herself trail off. She didn't want to make excuses, but it was the truth.
Well why not?
Kairi lifted her eyes to Sora at his words, wonder in her eyes. "How can you say that?" she asked. "I know I should feel this way...especially after what I did to you." She hurt him; she could see that much the other day, and there was a hint of it in his eyes. Kairi didn't think there was any reason for him to stay here and hold her like this, not after what she did.
The nap was the best part. xDD
Kairi opened her eyes when she felt Sora move, but she kept her gaze locked on his shirt. "Why are you being so nice?" she asked, feeling silly for asking the question, but it was something she needed answered. It seemed odd that he was treating her so well after what she put him through.
Well, I woke up at 10 and ate breakfast, then fell back asleep at noon and slept until 4. (But I must say, it was one of the best naps I've ever...
"...Sora?" Kairi spoke, her voice soft in the quiet room. She sniffled lightly, but otherwise didn't move. Regardless of how she was feeling on the inside, she was comfortable in Sora's arms. It was a contradiction to what she previously thought, but it wasn't something she could really help.
Yeah... Anyway, how was your day?
Kairi desperately wanted to apologize, knowing that Sora at least deserved that much from her after all she had done. But she didn't want to ruin the moment by saying something that could turn ugly. What if he didn't accept her apology? Kairi wasn't sure what she would do then, but she would understand. Turning your back on somebody you loved was a terrible thing to do; she didn't deserve any of the treatment she was getting.
Hi there. Sorry I'm late; went to the doctor and it took an hour to get my prescription. Dx
Kairi sniffled quietly, no longer sobbing; tears only fell silently down her cheeks. She wished she could take it back. She felt terrible for what she did to Sora. Look, Kairi. He's here, holding you as you cry. How could you turn your back on somebody like that? She honestly didn't know, but she did remember how lonely she had been. Nathaniel had been there, and that was that.
Kairi felt Sora pull her closer and somewhere inside her there was warmth, but she didn't realize it, too deep in her sorrows. She sniffled, the girl burying her head more into Sora's shoulder. She wanted to just forget everything, forget the last four months. If that could happen, things would be normal again; her and Sora would be okay, and Nathaniel wouldn't have even existed to her. However, Kairi knew that couldn't happen; it never would.

Buh bye! =)
Kairi noticed that her sobs were becoming less frequent as the minutes went by, and she was glad. She still hurt inside, but she knew that crying wasn't going to help take all the pain away; it would just relieve her temporarily until she cried again. She kept her eyes closed as she took in a shaky breath, trying to relax in Sora's comforting embrace.

Okay, cool. :3
Kairi knew it was her fault, that she and Sora weren't like this anymore. She had fallen into the arms of another boy and betrayed Sora's trust and faith because she was lonely, and she was desperate for someone to hold her and make things better. Being in Sora's arms felt like home, but it was sad that she didn't think it was safe territory anymore; things had changed between them, in a few different ways.
