He/She shouldn't be angry with you because you're sick; it isn't exactly something you can control. =/
Kairi entered the living room once again, seeing immediately that Sora was in the same position she had left him in. She approached him silently, the painkillers in one hand and the glass of water in the other. The redhead stopped next to him and quietly reached forward with the hand that was formed in a fist to hold the pills. She tapped Sora on the shoulder lightly with one finger before pulling back, her eyes on him.
Oh, ewwie. I'm sorry, hun. =/
Kairi left the living room and went down the hallway, turning when she reached the bathroom. She opened the medicine cabinet and grabbed some painkillers, but she didn't grab a glass of water right away. From previous experiences, she knew Sora never used it to help him with the pills. However, she thought it would be courteous to grab one anyway, so she did, right before she headed back for the living room.
Hello there. You were back earlier than I expected. xD
Kairi caught movement out of the corner of her eye, which distracted her from her thoughts. She turned her head to look at Sora more and saw his position, realizing that he had just as hard of a night as she did yesterday. She opened her mouth to say something, but then closed it. What was she supposed to say? The girl bit her lip, deciding that everything would probably be easier if Sora wasn't in pain. "Um... Stay here," Kairi said softly, pushing herself up from the couch and starting to exit the living room.
See ya later!
Kairi continued to sit there, trying to think of something to say. She searched her mind for any questions she had come up with ever since he left, and since he came back. But there were so many... She just needed to pick one, but she didn't want to start things off on the wrong foot; she couldn't handle another problem.
How much longer is that?? xD
Kairi took in a breath and then exhaled, knowing that Sora's presence was calming her down. She was still shaken up from everything she had found out yesterday, but he was at least making it a little easier for her. She was grateful for that, even if she didn't know how to express that right now.
Yup. See you later. =)
Thank you, Kairi thought, not being able to speak at that moment. The fact that Sora was there for her after all she had done to him--betraying him and putting him in a position to protect her once again--made Kairi feel a little better. His presence just did that to her, always.
Okie dokie, that's fine. I need to take a nap; really tired. xD
Kairi wasn't sure what to say from there, at a loss for words. What she had spoken triggered many memories to appear in her mind, starting from the two lonely weeks apart from Sora and then to yesterday, when he saved her again. She had no idea where to begin, or even what to say to make her thoughts sound logical; she was a trainwreck.
That's true. We have two more scenarios to get through, I believe.
Kairi fiddled with her fingers, her focus on them as she swallowed. She couldn't ignore this question, and she wanted to answer truthfully. "I do, but..." she managed, but her thoughts stopped her. The words that were on the tip of her tongue caused a chain of memories in her mind, stopping her. "...I don't know where to start." Kairi composed herself enough to finish, her words nothing but the truth. She was incredibly lost and crushed; she knew this wasn't going to be easy.
Mhm. But unfortunately, I'm coming up empty. =/
Kairi saw Sora respond out of the corner of her eye, and she was glad that he wasn't leaving. He might not have known it then, but she felt safer when he was around; she always had. A few months away at least hadn't changed that.
Supernatural - Daughtry
xDD I'm trying to look up Final Fantasy summons and stuff to help me with the King. A Minotaur sounded cool, but I think I want something more epic.
