After about yen minutes of standing out in the cold Karina figured she make a wrong turn or something and that she was the only one here. She could have sworn she followed the directions exactly. Either way it was time she got out if the cold till she figured out what was up. Karina approached the door of the Tavern with a slight scowl on her face before opening it and walking in. She was about to sit down and look at the coordinates once again when someone caught her eye. "oh... It's you." She said simply as she approached Kross. To be honest she didn't like being stuck in the same group as him again. She didn't trust him, not after last time they worked together.
You are so lucky. I wish I could go see Skillet live. They are one of my favourite bands.
Louvel couldn't stop the gravitational pull anymore. He allowed himself to continue being pulled into the canyon but not without keeping a close eye on R. It seemed that R was about to chase him down but stopped. Louvel tried to figure out what he was doing, at this point he was far enough back it was hard to see but it seemed like he had just pulled his sister out of the ground. Now how Sapphire got herself into that mess he couldn't fathom, but he didn't put it past her to get herself into weird situations like that. But why was R helping her when he was still planning to fight him? Perhaps there where more layers to R then it seemed. But what was he thinking, R was the enemy, trying to take Kingdom Hearts for himself, Louvel couldn't let himself lose sight of that. He needed to defeat R and obtain the power for the lights, for the good guys. As Louvel hit the edge of the canyon he spread his wings of light. Lucky for him the canyon wasn't a no fly zone. With Excalibur gripped tightly in his right hand, and Oblivion in his left Louvel flew straight towards Xindai. The rate he was approaching Xindai was more quick then most expected but the gravitational pull was on his side with this one. As he neared Xindai he immediately tried to stab him in the stomach. Though his fight with R was not over, Xindai was as much of a threat as R was at the moment and he had to do something about it. Kaya looked back at Valinton, then had to look again, caught off guard by his transformation. She didn't want to let go since she knew what she held onto was safe, but she couldn't hold on forever. She needed to trust Valinton. Kaya closed her eyes tight and took a deep breath as she let go of the rock allowing herself to fly back. All she could think about was how he better catch her. It wasn't that she didn't trust him but this wasn't your standard trust exercise. Within a blink of an eye R was in front of Xepphiras. Xepphiras didn't say anything or even move, R in his transformation looked different, more scary then before. It startled her and frightened her but he spoke in a soft calm voice like he had always done for her telling her not to fear. Xepphiras's heart rate started to drop back to normal as he placed his hand on her head. His touch was warm and soft. A layer of darkness flowed around her then expanded to free her. Once standing at R's side she looked up at him. She couldn't help but ask. "Why help me? You have saved me so many times but why? I can't do anything worth while." Xepphiras almost felt guilty as she felt R's power level drop. He was no longer as powerful and it was because he had to stop and save her. Although as he turned back to normal she was slightly less frightened of him. He was still a scary guy, just not quite as much in her eyes since she kinda knew what he could be like.
Karina was starting to understand what happened in Ananta's world and didn't care to question it much more since she assumed that more questioning would equal longer explanations, that and it would make her look stupid. She hesitated and was about to say something to Ananta to fill the silence when three holographs of worlds appeared in front of them Beuce took no time in choosing one and heading off. Karina took a little more time in her decision. She studied each place. Her eyes settled on a dark looking castle, it caught her interest. She couldn't say for certain why, just something about it drew her there. "Bye." She said quietly to Ananta not knowing any better way to end their conversation. She summoned her keyblade armor before stepping outside and summoning her glider. She hopped on and started off into the sky on the way to the world she had selected. She didn't care to wait for anyone or see who else was coming with her. She would meet them there. And perhaps the others who decided to go to the same world had already got there, they hadn't waited for her last time, there was no reason for her to assume they did this time. Karina let her two feet settle firmly on the ground when she arrived at the world. She was outside and no where near the castle that appeared in the hologram of the world. To her left was a small Tavern, it looked warm and cozy, nothing like what it was outside. She was actually quite cold standing there outside. It wasn't like Karina couldn't take the cold though. She was strong and wouldn't let it bother her. At the same time it might be good to go into the Tavern just to see what is going on in this world and what it was like. Karina took a step towards the door and stopped as she figured she should see who else showed up first.
Whatever team needs an extra. I'm not picky
Karina disembarking for beasts castle if I may
Louvel was admittedly scared. He didn't know how to get away from R and his new form now. But just as R flew over top of him a strong gravity started to pull at Louvel. Instead of fighting it, he accepted it and went with it. It was the quickest way to get away from R at the moment. The fight wasn't done, nor was he going to simply run, but once he started being pulled away it was hard to stop. He would be back however, and R would be able to tell from the determined look in his eyes. Their battle was far from done... or was it? Kaya stepped back away from Valinton and awkwardly chuckled. "Uh sorry... I don't know what came over me just then." She said as she rubbed the back of her neck. Just then all the keys began to shake around them. "What is going on?" She said as she felt herself being pulled. Kaya grabbed onto a rock and held tight. She wasn't going to be pulled away that easily. She wanted to summon her keyblade glider but feared that when it transformed it would be pulled away before she could get on and start it. Kaya knew if she lost her grip the first thing she would do was find the person doing this and stop them. But she wasn't going to let go, not yet. Xepphiras was relieved to finally see someone to help but wasn't happy about the amused look on her face. "I-I don't actually know really. One moment I was trying to help Dusk and the next I was being tugged at into the darkness which quickly turned to ground." She explained as she glanced at One indicating he was the one that was responsible. "Just help get me out of here." She said not wanting to sit like that much longer. She was desperate for a way out. When the gravity started trying to pull everyone towards the Canyon Xepphiras started to wince. She would not be as easily ripped from the ground as the keyblades, she was in too deep, but the force of the gravity pulling on her from the waist up was rather painful as she had no way of stopping the force or moving. "Help me, please!" She cried out as she began to get very anxious.
"But who would... how... If he was the leader where there not others around to prevent those seven from attacking? Guards? The army? Something like that? Why would he be so stupid to let his guard completely down?" Karina slowed down and took a deep breath. Her father did everything in his power to protect the leader of their country. There where always him or high ranking guards around him. It would not be easy to kill there leader. Besides everyone was raised to respect the leader and not question his actions. But then again that was what all girls where taught when it came to the men around them. It was a stupid rule but if followed save a lot of pain. "Actually never mind. Doesn't matter..." Karina decided not to question it. It would make things easier if she just didn't bother, save a lot of time and energy. There was a lot of stuff she didn't understand about other worlds and people in other worlds but she didn't have time to worry about them, she would figure it out as she went. Meanwhile Beuce was still sitting there being annoying as ever. As Karina stroked her hair with her brush once more she flicked it out of her hand and let it fly, hitting Beuce. "Oopsies, it slips." She said with a small smile.
I would suggest private messaging Krowley and just having a conversation with him about it if you do not have Skype. To PM him click on his name and then press start a conversation. By doing this it not only allows you to show him you are serious about joining but is a appropriate place to explain how the rp works or if you have any additional questions or such. This is just my suggestion you can always just wait and see if he replies to your post in here if you are more comfortable with that. If you need help navigating the site or have any additional messages you can leave me a message on my profile and I will try my best to help.
Katrina took out her music to listen to what Ananta had to say. She offered to help her with her hair but Karina decline. "I can do my own hair just fine." after that came an offer to tell her a story to help pass time. "It better not be some sob story of you looking for pity, I don't pity people nor do I expect them to pity me." Karina explained rather harshly. Then came Beuce what was worse then a sob story? A person mocking said story. As much as she hated them she would not mock them, chances were she wouldn't say anything, just leave it be. "Don't you have better things to do? Screw off." Karina said to Beuce with a glare.
Karina slightly glanced over at Ananta but didn't say anything. There wasn't much to say right now. Karina ran her finger around a thorn on the rose stopping at the point. When you grab a rose all you see is its beauty, that is till you reach in the bush to grab its stem and get pricked by one of the thorns. Karina slowly lifted her finger off the thorn as a small drop of blood began to form on her figure. Perhaps most people where like that, they my look white and innocent on the outside, or even black and dark but if you don't pay attention you wouldn't know the thorns that lie behind it. Everyone had them, some more then others, and some let them affect them differently but they where all there. Karina was one that was quick to judge, but now she wondered if she needed to get to know someone better instead of immediately deciding. Karina looked back at Ananta in silence, she had a good reason for not liking her earlier but it seemed that Ananta wasn't being herself since later she came and was actually very nice to her. The whole thing confused Karina a lot. She was never a peoples person, so to sit there and analyze them and her own reaction to them was slightly uncomfortable to her. Karina wiped the drop of blood on her finger onto one of the rose petals, almost as a warning of what was behind the beauty. Karina then set the flower down on the floor in front of her. watching Ananta do her hair made Karina thing it was time she did something with hers, at least give it a good brush out. Karina slowly removed the hair elastics that held her two little pig tales up and let the hair fall forward draping over her shoulder. Karina then grabbed a brush out of her bag and slowly began to try to brush all the knots out of her hair. It was a slow process seeing how tangled her hair had actually gotten. Her hair looked far more messy now that it wasn't put up, at a few spots you could see how knotted parts of her hair where, but Karina was determined to get all the knots out no matter how painful it was. It wasn't like she had anything better to do with her time and she figured she should look slightly presentable. Perhaps if she got it done she wouldn't even put her hair up for the next mission, leave it down and long, maybe.
"Thanks." Karina said as she was lead to a far more familiar place. Ananta turned to leave and Karina stood there for a moment. She figured she would just hang out there is the main living hall until they set off to there next world. Doing what she didn't know but she would figure something out. Seconds after Ananta turned to leave two other girls came by, one tossing Karina a white rose. Karina held it in her hand and stared at its beauty. A simple rose although it had its thorns it was really quite beautiful. Karina walked over to the nearest wall and sat herself against it as she continued to examine the rose more. Her mind began to drift away from the rose and to the fact that yet again, despite her attitude towards people someone else was being nice to her. It seemed to be happening a lot this time around in The Land of Departure. Karina shook it off as she put in her music, something she hadn't done for most of the time here, closed her eyes and just lost herself in the music for a bit.
Karina stood there and simply blinked. The concept of people being nice and supportive towards her was almost foriegn. She didn't know how to respond, especially to Ananta. Karina had thought she hated Ananta, but then Ananta was being nice to her, could she really maintain the hate? Or was it even hate, perhaps it was really just fear? Karina didn't know this entire conversation started to confuse her. She didn't know what to think at the moment. All she could find the words to say at the moment where "Can you help me find my way out of here?" Her voice sounded like it was about to break but Karina stood up tall and got ready to walk away. So many emotions swirling around at the moment but she wouldn't let any out. Not yet, she couldn't.
Shut up Riku, we can always go back in you know. Try again and if you don't disconnect, possibly win
"I-I don't know what I think about it... all my life I was told one thing not allowed to believe different. But that was the same with every girl in our village every time I tried to question it I was punished... It wasn't long before I started excepting what I was told, well for the most part." Karina explained still not making eye contact with Ananta. Karina politely listened to the rest of what Ananta had to say. "Friends..." She quietly repeated attempting to think to the last time she had or even made a true effort to make a friend. "To make friends I have to let people in right?" She questioned having a feeling she wouldn't like the answer. "I-I can't do that... I just can't. I closed myself off from others for a reason.... I can't let them back in." Truth be told she didn't exactly remember the reason she closed herself off, it wasn't entirely because of her father, she knew that but she had locked the memories of the reason deep inside her heart and now couldn't reach them. All she knew was she did what she did for a reason and wasn't ready to undo it. If making friends meant she had to let people in she simply wouldn't make friends. She had already said more then she wanted to to Ananta, but Karina was so desperate for someone to understand her it just kind of slipped out.
Because you disconnected. Geez we counted on you and you abandoned us to die and couldn't even res me when you got back
Karina allowed Ananta to hug her despite her dislike fir her. "Crying gets you no where... You are a grown up, crying is unacceptable even in private. There is never a good excuse to cry,.." Karina said quietly not allowing herself to cry even when she was told it was okay. "That is what my dad always told me, whether I was hurt or upset." Karina said as she stood up. "You just need to pick yourself up and keep going." She finished as she looked down the hall where she thought she should go to get back to the main area.
Karina began to calm down seeing that Ananta obviously had no ill intent towards her at the moment. Karina felt silly almost childish letting herself get worked up over Ananta's presence. Karina wasn't much of a child anymore not at age 17. They where expected to be married by 18, she was a woman, something so silly shouldn't get her worked up. "I-It's fine, it doesn't really hurt." She said wrapping her other hand around it. Karina looked down and bit her lip not knowing what to say or do now. The silence sort of weirded her out but there was nothing for her to say now. As uncomfortable as it was it was better then saying something wrong and getting herself in trouble again. She was scared what might happen if Yen Sid or even Krowley heard about what happened. She didn't want to be punished or sent away due to her actions.
Thomas was being lazy as always. Without his parents there to wake him up Thomas had slept in quite late. He was jolted awake by the sound of sirens that blasted through the city. He leaped out of bed and grabbed a long black coat to put on over top of his pajamas since he felt there was no time to get changed. Zombies where getting in there was no time to lose... well no time to lose except the time it took to do his hair, he had to look sharp for the ladies after all. He grabbed a pair of sun glasses off his dresser before rushing into his parents room to grab his fathers old sniper rifle, the one that he jhad been teaching Thomas to use well. Thomas made his way to the roof of his house. Putting on his sunglasses he looked towards the sun slightly to ensure that the sun reflected off them. "Zombies, prepare for your worst nightmare." He said in his best serious cool guy voice hoping some girl heard and thought him impressive or cute or something. Once he had finished his cool guy bit he began to use the rooftops to make his way towards where the sirens where the loudest. He hoped he could hide on a roof or in a tree and snipe them, that way he stayed out of dangers way... he hoped. He couldn't let those darn zombies ruin his beautiful completion after all.
Karinas first reaction to Ananta touching her head wad to swat the hand away. "Get away from me! Why can't you just leave me be!" Karina flipped out at Ananta. It wasn't that she was scared of Ananta as much as she wasn't up for another fight right now. Karina was still agitated from earlier and couldn't see Ananta wanting to simply just he nice, but her tone of voice said differently. Never the less Katrina was acting off her emotions right now and not thinking it through, that meant age acted almost hostile towards Ananta.
