Spirox War

Zage stiffened as she was pulled close. She was playing off his attraction to her but now a shiver went down her spine as he whispered in her ear. At this point she was done with the mind games, she just wanted out of there. One of the men wanted to eat her and the other one was more creepy then she ever expected. If she could suck it up and deal with the creepiness it would work best but she started to wonder if she could. Damion finally let go to help his brother but not before uttering a threat. If she where to run he would catch up to her. Zage had no doubt about this, he had already done it once, a second time wouldn't be hard. Zage retreated into the shadows a bit out of the way of the upcoming battle. Slowly she let her back slide down the wall she was against and sat taking a big breath. She was attempting to figure out how she got into that big of a mess. Either way at this point it looked like the only way to walk out of this with her life was to go with the brothers without question.

Xaria began to tire of simply walking and instead sat down on a park bench near the edge of the spirox region. Her mind was filled with questions on what was going to happen next and how her new job would go. Doku seemed liked a nice enough person but she was quick to kick her out of the store earlier. Xaria couldn't help but wonder why, the store should have still been open, it was still early in the day and it seemed it had just opened. But more prominently where questions on her own life and whether or not her comment about moving around would cause Doku to start looking into her background or not. She really hoped not but she wouldn't blame Doku for doing so. After all most people would want to know who they have working for them is a good person or could be trusted or not. Xaria was that but not in others eyes and she couldn't blame them for that.

Zage silently did on she was told. She walked in the direction she was forced without resistance. The one holding her had seemed to have taken a liking to her, so in theory she wasn't in danger. That was if she followed along with what they wanted her to do. She followed along and perhaps she could get something out of this besides her life. Allies, she would gain someone to fight for her. Suddenly she felt the pressure on her back lift and the hand covering her mouth shift to hold her, tight. "What is it?" She asked innocently. Damion's grip was rather tight and started to hurt. "Loosen up sweetie, your grip hurts." She pouted. The brother didn't seem to care much for her but that didn't matter much, she had one of them on her side now.

As Xaria walked she considered going back to Dymani but it was a little late in the day for a trip back, besides she had just returned from there, whether she actually wanted to or not, she just got back. There had to be something she could do around here, an odd job for extra cash, or something. She wasn't ready to go back to her dark lonely home yet. As she walked around she would make the occasional thing levitate or move. She was actually enjoying this new found control over her powers, but that didn't change the fact that she didn't want them. Being here and not in the human area meant she could get away with using her powers a little more as long as she didn't cause trouble, which she wasn't. Although she did begin to get lonely just wandering around playing with her powers and not doing anything else.

Dawn was noticeably faster when it came to attacking and dodging the attacks of her brother, but Dmitri was more skilled. Time and time again Dawn would try to jab at her brother only to be met with him blocking. He wouldn't even try to move out of her way nor did he attack back, he was toying with her. "Dmitri it isn't much of a fight when the other person isn't fighting only blocking. Come on, at least try."

Dmitri smirked. "Just remember, you asked for it." He warned. His stance changed, Dmitri moved his feet closer together and brought his wooden sword down beside him instead of in front of him. One could see in his eyes that he was becoming a lot more focused. "I won't hold back just because you are my sister." He informed her. Despite being ready to attack he didn't make the first move, he waited for Dawn to run towards him one again ready to jab him. From the position he was in most would think that he wasn't ready to defend, but that wasn't true, Dmitri had a trick or two up his sleeves. Knowing his sisters speed and tactics from many friendly duels with her, he planned out his moves. He waited till right before she would strike and disarm her. As she got closer he began to raise his arm but hesitated a slight but didn't move till her sword was inches away from his chest. He swiftly brought his arm up hitting her sword up and back with his own before. He then continued to counter by using the butt end of his sword to hit his sister in the chest.

Dmitri's sudden deflection of Dawns attack made her arm fly up in a weird way causing pain in her should. She was too focused on this pain to realize and stop his counter. Dawn fell to her knees with one arm clenching her stomach. When he said he wouldn't hold back, he wasn't kidding since he put a lot more force into both of the blows then he knew he needed to in order to beat her. Dawns wooden sword lay five feet behind her, and she wasn't really in much of shape to continue fighting. She looked up at her brother standing over her.
"Okay I give, you win." She said. You could hear in her voice that she was in a bit of pain. Dawn got up, picked up her sword and began to walk towards the house.
"Where do you think you are going? It isn't over yet. A fight doesn't end till someone delivers a fatal blow; neither of mine where and you couldn't land a hit on me." Dmitri approached Dawn and put the end of his sword to the back of her neck. "You aren't going to let me kill you this easily now are you? You would be shaming the Asphel family name." He removed the sword from the back of her neck and stood prepared to fight once again.

Dawn shook her head. He had got her there. Their family was never one to back down from a fight unless they had been dealt a fatal blow, even in a friendly duel. Dawn was forced to wield her sword in her left hand instead of her right as she prepared to continue the duel. Her reflexes weren't nearly as good with her left hand but she would find a way to fight him till the very end. All she needed was to break his defenses once, all her blows where aimed to be fatal.

Louvel had to admit that he was enjoying fighting alongside his sister. Even though she was filled with the power of darkness he was okay with that. As they fought side by side It was clear her motives where not evil, nor did she seem to be forced to do this, it was her choice she was doing what she wanted. Even though she allied herself with those he was against he was proud of her, she was becoming her own person.

Xepphiras glanced over at Louvel. He had a small smile spread across his face. Even without emotions in her mind she was glad to see he was okay with this. No longer holding the grudge that he had when they started fighting. Xepphiras even in her tired state had to prove what she was made of. As the two of them fought she would try to outdo Louvel here and there to show him what she had learned by following R.

"Fourteen years...." Karina said quietly having a hard time believing that after all that time she had come back to life. In the back of her mind she still questioned what if anything Hades had in store, it almost scared her. A person like that didn't just bring someone to life for the hell of it not expecting anything in return. But she put that thought aside to focus on her kids. "You say Eon became a nobody?" Karina said without the slightest sign of concern. "We will see him again, I know we will." As she comforted the kids she glanced over and noticed she actually knocked Beuce too the ground. Karina smirked as she looked over at Beuce. "I guess I don't remember my own strength." She said in a sly tone meant to irritate Beuce for old times sake. It wasn't the first time she punched Beuce and it wouldn't be the last. Karina pet dawns hair as she looked at Anta. "You haven't tried any funny business with my daughter have you?" She had a serious but not scary look on her face. She knew he wouldn't but it was her job as his aunt to give him a hard time.

Eric stood behind Dusk and put his hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry Dusk." He said simply not knowing what else to say. It had just now occured to him that Karina was concerned about these kids being involved in a war, but little did she know they weren't the only ones. "Karina..." Eric said not wanting to interrupt the reunion. "I am sorry to bring this up now but the war isn't over and these aren't the only kids involved. There is at least one more young girl that we need to help." Eric looked over at the reality marble. "She is fighting there... Perhaps we need to help."

Karina nodded understanding she had more obligations here then her kids. "I need to help. Keep each other safe and I will be back." Karina glanced at Nanata not trusting her. "You come with us!" She ordered. Karina wouldn't leave her kids with the possibility of danger. Karina kissed Dawns head as she made her let go so she could start heading towards the reality marble.

Dawn skipped cheerfully home from school. Today had been a good day and she was decently happy. Not even the darkness of the creatures who hid in the shadows could bring her down. Besides now of recently she had been given the power to fight back against them with a special weapon. She didn't use it much however since it would mean her changing the style of fighting she was used to. It was too bulky to use her normal strategy, a fencing strategy. She usually stuck with her long slender sword that she kept at home most of the time. She rarely took it out with her because she never saw the point... well until recently. She had brought it out with her for protection against the heartless a few times recently but refused to fight other people with it. She never wanted to bring anyone else to harm.

Dawn slowed down as she saw her house in the distance, a figure stood at the door, her brother. Dawn loved her brother like anyone would love family but she also had a distinct fear of him at the same time. He always wanted to prove his power which meant he would fight and sometimes try to kill anyone or anything he sees as strong. Either way it was her brother and she ha to put up with him.

"Aww come on where are all those guys that follow you like lost puppies today? I am bored I want another challenge
!" Dmitri said, not in a whiny voice but almost a cynical one. He had a smirk across his face. He knew his sister was rather pretty and smart, that attracted a lot of the local boys. Dmitri took advantage of this and as soon as one stepped foot on their property told them they had to duel him for rights to see his sister. That being said Dawn was never able to get a boyfriend.

"No one dares come near you anymore Dmitri. We all know your power by now." Dawn replied calmly as she walked past her brother and set her
belongings down inside the house.
"Fine then, you fight me. Show me what you have learned recently." Dmitri retorted.
"Whatever." Dawn replied as she walked out back and grabbed a long slender wooden sword. The one her brother chose was slightly bigger and heavier. And so they started their duel. Both with very different fighting styles. Dawns focusing on speed and accuracy. Meanwhile Dmitri's approach was more about planning each swing and hitting hard.

"I don't care to fight her and if she is someone of importance I will not take blame for hurting slash killing her. I want to finish the tassk I was assigned and get out of here. That is it." Karrina explained. She didn't trust this woman so she wouldn't think of her as having any authority over her, but at the same time if it turned out she did and master yen side heard of them fighting her... well Karina didn't want to think of the possibilities that might happen. That is why she wouldn't fight. That is why she was trying so hard just to get away from the woman and not be too forceful. She had a feeling after the last visit to Land of Departure she may already e on thin ice due to the whole event with Ananta, she didn't want to make this worse for herself.

Spirox War

Zage had thought she had escaped when suddenly a man landed behind her covering her mouth at the same time a cold blade touched her neck, but not one of steel, of a different substance... bone? Was that even possible. Either way she had been seen and caught. For the first time in a long time she actually feared for her life as the man threatened her. She walked somewhat reluctantly but not too much that it might cause problems. As they reached the ally she saw the other man, also with his arm sharpened. And as she feared he wanted to eat her as well, but the one holding her for some reason seemed less keen on the idea. She could always play off it, she pushed her chest out to make it look bigger. She put a pouty face on as she hoped this would give the guys take pity on her and let her go.

Xaria nodded and left the shop in silence. She would return to the shop in the morning, not because she wanted the handouts but the fact she had nothing better to do with her day. Once farther away from the shop she stopped and took the potion. It wasn't long before her mind started to clear up and she felt... good. Her mind wasn't fogged and she could think clearly. It had been a while since she had been able to think clear and not worry about her powers or something going wrong. When she used her powers something always went wrong. She didn't know what she was doing with them nor did she care to learn to use them. She didn't want them. She wished that she could just make them go away, that her parents would release the cure, but for now this was the next best thing. Xaria decided to try something. Slowly her feet started to leave the ground as she began to levitate and control her movement. Though she had control it took a lot of concentration and she didn't maintain this for long before continuing to walk.

Xepphiras stopped curing when R picked himself up off the ground. He claimed his fate was decided. She didn't want to accept that, but before she could protest R continued talking. His words where one that gave her purpose in life, a reason to be there but they came with a sad realization. R would no longer be there to save or help her. She had to do things on her own. The only one she trusted and she knew for a fact he would be the one she would have to go on without. R then turned to Xero and they began to charge an attack. She knew what they had to do now. Her along with anyone else had to protect R. She looked around to spot the one she told was her brother. It would take more then her own strength to defend them. ""Louvel!" She called out. "You have to help me defend them!"

"Why would I do that?!" Louvel snapped back still feeling rejected by his sister. She wanted nothing to do with him, why was she calling for him now? "They are both my enemy, why do I want to help them?" Louvel was as naive as ever, though not afraid of the dark he didn't want to encourage it either and he believed that by associating himself with it, that was exactly what he would do.

Xepphiras scowled. "You will help cause if you don't then we will all die in here. They are trying to put an end to this and need protection. I can't do it alone." Finally Louvel had agreed to help and the two of them one filled with light and one filled with dark stood side by side fighting for one goal. And for some reason Xepphiras knew this wouldn't be the last time.

As Karina walked, she was suddenly pulled through a dark corridor. Standing in front of her was a girl who looked familiar but not the same to one she knew before. "Dead girls aren't supposed to fight..." Karina had a monotone voice when she responded. "Good thing I don't plan to fight anyone right now. But it was true that a dead girl had no right to be there. She didn't even know why she was there. Karina then turned away to the three kids on the ground, one in witch looked familiar. A smile crossed Karina's face as she approached the boy. "Anta is that you? You have grown so much." Her eyes then shifted around to where they where and what was going on. "What are you doing here?" She asked harshly before turning to Beuce and punching him. "You are involved in this aren't you? Bring three children into war. Shame on you." She said. Finally her eyes rested on her brother in which she ran up and hugged. "Eric you are here? But how? You have grown up so much." Her voice once again became soft. Karina turned from her brother in time to see two kids nearly tackle her. "Is it really you!? Are you... are you... mom!?" Karina froze in shock as her eyes too started to fill with tears that she held back. The last thing she remembered before she died was having a son... then a daughter, was this really them? Her mind was full of questions and confusion but she could tell these kids weren't confused, she was their mother. She hugged both of the kids and stood back seeing how big they where. "You two... what is your names? How old are you now? Where is your dad?" Karina began to get anxious after meeting her kids for the first time.

Eric rolled his eyes at Beuces comment, he knew from all that happened his claim wasn't true. He also knew his sister. He knew she would never go for one like that. Though it wasn't surprising that he wished to be Karina's husband, although she had a bad temper she was quite beautiful he had to admit. When the kids all started to get up and look at something he turned to see a black haired young woman. Not much had changed since she had ran away from home. Eric was in too much shock to move until Karina hugged him. He wrapped his arms around her and comforted her. "So do you. I came here looking for you but was told you died...." His voice trailed off for a second. "I don't understand what is going on but I am glad to see you again sis."

As Karina tried to walk away but as she did a purple glow formed around her and the path in front of her disappeared. Karina was confused and concerned, but a few seconds later she appeared in front of a cabin. It was a run down place. She didn't know how she got there all she knew was the woman in black was involved. Karina was about to start walking again when the others along with the woman also appeared at the cabin. Once again the woman demanded they stay and once again Karina ignored her... request, sure lets call it that. Karina didn't even say anything this time she had enough with the talking. Instead Karina summoned her keyblade and tossed it into the air summoning her keyblade glider. Perhaps if she flew away the magic wouldn't so easily grab her. As Karina began to fly away she turned around and gave the woman the finger. Because talking, who needs it? She then turned back to her flying hoping to get back to the woods.

Oh my gosh I loved that game. I really liked the inventor max worked for in dark cloud 2, he was fun. I liked the concept of being able to build a town again in the first game. It really made it unique
