I was wondering when you were gonna say something. xDD That's cool. But my boyfriend might try to steal me away, which I don't want. Again,...
Kairi watched Roxas until he left the room, and then she looked down at the boy she was standing next to. She shrugged at the look in his eyes. She didn't really know either. Roxas walked down the hallway and then stepped into the kitchen, but he stopped a few feet in. "Namine?" he called softly, noticing her position. She didn't look too happy; he could see that instantly.
Kairi tucked some of her hair behind her ear and looked toward the doorway she had just come through. "I think somebody needs you in the kitchen," she said softly. Roxas looked the way Kairi had and then back at her, studying her expression. Clearly, that somebody was Namine, and by the look on Kairi's face, it wasn't good. "Okay," he simply said, pushing himself up from his seat and starting toward the kitchen.
Kairi felt a soft gaze on her and looked up from the floor, her eyes falling on Sora instantly. She offered him a weak smile at the one he gave her, the girl walking over to him and holding out his water bottle for him, but she didn't sit down immediately. Instead, she turned her head to look at the boy sitting in the chair. "Um, Roxas?" she called. Roxas tore his eyes away from the screen, he and Sora having been watching T.V. for a few minutes now. His gaze fell on Kairi, noticing immediately that a certain blonde was missing. "Yeah?" he asked.
Kairi hopped off the barstool and walked through the room silently, moving down the hall and approaching the living room. She was worried about Namine, and the fact that her friend wouldn't open up. That could only mean that something was really bothering her, which worried Kairi. She walked into the living room, holding both water bottles in her hands.
After a brief minute of silence, Kairi turned her eyes back to the waters in front of her, and she remembered that Sora was still waiting for her to deliver his. "Hey, I'm gonna go give Sora his water," she said, grabbing the two waters sitting in front of her. "I'll be right back."
Kairi's head tilted to the side slightly, the girl becoming more concerned. She was sure that her worry was expressed in her eyes. Other than that small motion, she stayed silent.
Yuppitty yup yup. =)
"...Would you rather talk to Roxas?" Kairi asked, glancing over at Namine. Depending on how Namine answered, Kairi would find out if Roxas was the problem. If not, maybe he could help.
That's a good way to look at it. ;3
Kairi bit her lip lightly, turning her attention to the two water bottes sitting in front of her. "Do you not want to talk about it?" she asked. She didn't want to be a pest, so she would see if Namine even wanted to discuss it.
*sigh* I know what you mean, but I can't force myself or it turns out bad. xD
"Or you're not," Kairi disagreed softly, "and you're just being too hard on yourself." Whatever was going on, it obviously had Namine doubting something. The only thing Kairi could assume was that the problem involved Roxas. They were sitting on opposite sides of the room, practically.
Haha. Been there.
Kairi kept her eyes on Namine even when she looked away, her small smile fading away. "So tell me what's up. You seemed uncomfortable in there," she said gently, tilting her head to the side slightly. She was concerned; that was obvious. She just didn't know what was going on. Of course, if Namine didn't want to talk about it, she understood. But she was just showing she cared.
It works, though, right? xD
Kairi shrugged, making a face. "Eh, kinda," she said softly, smiling at her best friend again. "But it's probably easier for me." After all, they were connected in a special way, just like the boys were. It was useful at times, like now.
Well you don't need one until you publish, and a really smart move is to come up with about five chapters before you publish to 1. make sure your...
"You looked like you needed me more," Kairi said to Namine, smiling a little. It wasn't really a time for smiling, but she was just trying to assure her friend that she was there for her, just like Namine had been for her. There seemed to be something going on, and Kairi was a little worried.
Sure you will. =)
