I was so quiet; I felt like a ninja. xDD
Roxas held Namine closer to him as he sighed softly, the effects of his accusation hitting him hard now. He didn't want to feel that way, but it was inevitable; he'd made the mistake of thinking the girl he loved with all he had didn't feel the same, all because of something that happened a few years ago. It was in the past, so why couldn't he leave it there?
I'll do my best. xP I think she actually hid it from me, but I found it anyway. And when she rang the doorbell because she doesn't have a key, I...
"Don't say that," Roxas replied softly, squeezing Namine. "You have every right to be upset with me. I was wrong." He didn't like her thinking she shouldn't be reacting this way, because it was the right way to do so. He suspected her of not loving him for who he was, but for he was a part of. That was an assumption he should have never made.
Of course, that requires me to multitask. xP Oh, and I almost got caught by my sister about 20 minutes ago. xD
Roxas exhaled a soft breath and stared at the bar stool behind Namine as he held her gently. He tightened his embrace slightly, just holding her. There was nothing being said, so he didn't say anything.
Well, I do have to clean the house, so that buys me some time. xD
Roxas wrapped his arms around Namine naturally, though he wasn't sure why she hugged him. Yeah, he appreciated the embrace, but it didn't fully answer his question. That was what he wanted, but he had been pretty selfish lately; this was what Namine wanted right now, so he was going to push his own preferences aside.
I guess I can stall, since my bf just got home. xD
Roxas frowned slightly, his eyes softer at the look on Namine's face. "What can I do?" he asked. If an apology wasn't enough, which he knew it wasn't, he wanted to know what else he could do to make it up to her. Her happiness mattered, even if he didn't show that's what he thought sometimes.
Aww, that would've been bad. =( Me too. xD
Roxas tilted his head to the side slightly and lifted his free hand, setting it lightly on Namine's shoulder. "Hey. I love you...very much," he told her, honesty heavy in his voice. "I was wrong. I never should've doubted you." He should've known better, but his darker way of thinking sometimes got in the way.
Sheesh. I'm sorry! My internet totally acted up on my desktop, so now I'm on my sis's computer. Dx But anyway, I'm gonna try to get out of it....
Roxas nodded and then looked up. "I will," he promised, seeing the look on Namine's face. He realized she was truly upset, and he didn't like to be the cause of that.
Yeah. So now I got till 1:15. xD
"Sorry..." Roxas finally apologized, glancing down at the floor. "I was just a little unsure." But now he knew, and that was enough. It had been one thing he and Namine had never really talked about, and he actually felt silly for even considering the possibility now.
Roxas blinked, but didn't move as he gazed at Namine. So she saw everything? Then why was she so sad when he came back and he wasn't the way he was when he left? He rubbed his hand over his head again, still leaning against the counter. He didn't want to get into that, not when he just found out that Namine actually loved him.
So I just got about another hour of time. xD YAY.
Roxas looked up at Namine then, wonder in his eyes. "Did you see beyond the new personality?" he asked then. She must have known what DiZ did to him before he entered Twilight Town; she regularly visited him. He couldn't forget that.
"Even if I came from the Organization that...controlled you?" Roxas said, glancing at Namine before his eyes fell back to the floor. That fact alone should have scared her away; or at least, he thought so. He wasn't sure why it hadn't a long time ago.
