Kairi's eyes stayed on Sora, and she silently nodded. "...Alright. I promise I won't ask you anything about your mission," she said softly. Kairi did trust Sora; that's why she was taking his word for it. If he thought she shouldn't know, it was probably within her best interest to listen to him.
Yeah, not really. xD On the bright side, I got some sun today. xP
Kairi didn't say anything, not sure what she could come up with as a response. If things were that serious, she wasn't sure what was best for her. If Sora was trying to protect her, would keeping these things from her really do that? Or would it just be worse for her in the long run?
Trying to breathe through a stuffed nose and understand why my left eye is watering so bad. xDD
Kairi's hand stopped in the middle of Sora's back, the girl staring at him. "Sora, you're starting to scare me," she confessed quietly. Even more than she already was. She had been scared before, when she heard what was happening at Roxas's. Now she wasn't sure what to think about any of this.

When Kairi met Sora's gaze, she could tell instantly that he was indeed very serious. His tone of voice also gave her that impression. She nodded wordlessly, aware that there was no way for her to try and get Sora to talk about it. If it was that bad, she didn't really want to hear it.

Kairi didn't like what she was hearing, but she supposed it was inevitable. At least Riku had been there for Sora, when nobody else could have been. Not her, not Roxas or Namine... Kairi continued running her hand over Sora's back, not saying a word.
Kairi glanced at Sora when he spoke, but her eyes followed her hand once more as she rubbed his back. She didn't say anything, feeling that she shouldn't. However, her thoughts were triggered. I'm sorry it was forced on you, whether it was Roxas who did it, or me in the long run. I'm sorry...

Kairi took her eyes off Sora's face, instead watching her hand travel up and down over the fabric of his shirt. This was obviously very hard for him, and she could understand why. However, she knew she could never fully know what he was feeling, even if he did share the story with Roxas, and accidentally with her as well.

Kairi continued the motion in silence, not saying anything. She wasn't sure what she needed to say, if anything was to be said at all. What Sora told Roxas had been terrifying to hear, but if he wanted to talk to her about it, she would listen. Kairi loved Sora and wanted to help him overcome whatever pain he was feeling.
Well, I'm not sure how long we'll be out once the parade starts. So I'd imagine...7-ish. Somewhere around there.

Kairi let her eyes linger on Sora, despite the fact he wasn't looking back. And then after a moment, she set a hand on his back. It was a natural thing for her to do when someone she cared for was in a tight spot, even if she was surprised she did it now. Kairi just wanted things to be right again; they had gotten messy far too quickly.
I was thinking pretty soon. xD I actually have a life tomorrow.
