Karina was glad that no one had said anything so far. Her face was slowly becoming less red, but Karina couldn't turn and look back Eon and Vincent. "Please don't tell anyone of this..." She whispered totally embarrassed at her reaction to Vincent. She looked at Kross then away again hoping he wasn't snickering or anything, but she wouldn't put it past him. She wouldn't blame him if he wanted to go tell everyone in the land of departure about her little freak out. She hadn't been particularly nice to him so far.

Karina jumped as Vincent had started talking. She thought he was out at this point? Karina slowly slid away from Vincent as she looked up at him. As soon as she did her face turned bright red. She was just going on about how they where both monsters and such and he would have heard that. "I... um I am, uh... What I mean to say... I am, eh ... I'm sorry." Karina was stumbling over her words not able to talk properly. As much as she tried to form a sentence all her mind could think about was Vincent's tall thin stature, and long black hair that contrasted his pale skin so nicely. Vincent then continued to talk and Eon reply. Karina wanted to say something and contribute to the conversation but she couldn't bring herself to say anything of significance. "Y-yeah what he said." She stammered as she stood up. How could she have gone from severely depressed to giddy and a loss for words just like that? Karina had honestly never experienced the feeling of liking someone like this. It was new to her. Her face was really hot and red as he hands shook. Karina was trying so hard to hide it but it wasn't working.

Zylen could tell the sounds from his left changed. He couldn't quite tell what changed was the problem. Perhaps the cat girl changed her form again; that would certainly effect sounds she made. Not being able to see at the moment he tried to listen for where the cat girl went, but considering she was in the air, there was no sounds to be heard from her. There was sound from Doku on the other hand, using her cellphone to call for help no doubt. He raced towards her in order to prevent bringing anyone else into this. He was only told to kill two people. Thos where his targets and he didn't want to deal with more. He didn't want to have to fight or injure anyone else. He was a few meters away from where he started when he heard a thump behind him. Out of sheer luck he had moved out of the way of an attack from the cat. He was able to confirm now that it had transformed once again. Now Zylen was stuck in a hard place. Was he to go after the girl who was less of an immediate threat but calling for help, or after the cat? He had chosen the one with the phone. He leaped towards her in an attempt to knock the phone out of her hands, but little did he know the message was sent. As long as the phone was away from the girl it might be safe for him to open his eyes again soon, as they stopped burning as much.

Zage was fast asleep when she heard screaming outside. Zage grabbed her sword and stood up to go see what was up. Most people would hide away in there house hearing the obvious danger, but she couldn't help but think it might be her fault. Zage may not have the best way of going about things but she did have moral about certain stuff. For example this. She could only assume the hands of madness were the ones attacking outside and that would be because she ran away from them. Zage would not sit there and let other people take the fall for her actions. Zage ran outside towards where the screams where coming from, this time sword in hand. But when she got to the source of the screams she came to a halt, unable to move or thing. She had not expected to see what she did. A mutant she was tearing people apart. Her grip on her sword tightened but besides that she was frozen.

"Loyalty...?" Karina said quietly to herself. To be honest she was not all that familiar with the concept of loyalty making people family. She had never really been that close to anyone before. Karina only then realized how selfish she was being. A few times now Eon had brought up his parents deaths, but instead of trying to help him she would simply argue with him against whether or not she was useful. Karina pulled the jacket tight around her. "Sorry." She said softly as a tear slipped down her cheek. Her lip quivered and it seemed like she was going to cry but at the same time s light smile could be seen. "I'm sorry." She repeated again not knowing what was coming over her.

Karina was steps away from breaking down. Everything that had been going on lately here and in Land of Departure was getting to Karina, confusing her. She didn't know what to think anymore. "Eon..." Her voice began to crack. "...I-I just don't know anymore. For the last seventeen years all I have been told by both my family and peers is how useless and stupid I am. That I don't belong anywhere and shouldn't have been born. By this point I start to believe it. It's all I know...." Karina was sitting next to Vincent, her legs curled up to her chest. Karina then looked over at Vincent. "So what now?" She asked

"No matter what either of you say, you aren't going to change my mind. I know me better then any of you ever will." Karina stood up straight. As she did one of her sleeves fell to the ground revealing severely scared arms. These weren't self harming scars either. They where older scars from a past she didn't like to talk about. Karina walked up to Vincent trying to cover her arm. "It looks like we are one in the same." She said to the monster knowing that he spoke of a dark past. He had a reason for fighting them and Karina knew not all was what it seemed with him. She was glad the fight had ended. Besides she didn't know how much more she could have taken. The hits hurt but at the rate the battle was going it became more and more obvious she wouldn't die from it, instead just leave her severely injured. That was not what she wanted.

"It made a mistake then. I am not destined for anything great. My father was right." Karina was still very grim. She didn't believe what people where saying. Her confidence level was below zero. When it came to good things about her, she didn't think they where true, but anything negative she would believe in a heartbeat. Karina charged forward noticing that Eon was getting weak. He was only trying to protect her even though she didn't want it. Now he was hurt. Karina attacked Vincent once again then stepped in front of Eon to take a hit. This time not because she thought she deserved it, well she did but she did it because she wanted to protect Eon.

Xepphiras attempted to pick herself up. As she did she heard someone wheeze, looking over she realized that it was Kaya. Xepphiras rushed over to her too late to do anything about what was happening. Kaya had already died by the time Xepphiras reached her. "Kaya! Kaya! Wake up!" She shook the limp body. "Don't leave me!" She begged. There was no response. Xepphiras set Kaya back on the ground and stared at her now bloodied hands and began to gag slightly. The sight made her stomach turn. Just then she heard a cry from Omega, bringing her mind back to that battle. Xepphiras looked from Kaya to R then to Omega and Louvel who was still attempting to fight it, not noticing what had happened. Xepphiras stood up, though her hands where shaking she summoned her keyblade. "We have to finish this." Her voice was not one of confidence or leadership, but it was decisive. There was no going back on what she had said. Once again Xepphiras charged into battle attacking the giant monster that Kingdom hearts had released.

Louvel was in his own world fighting, he did not here or see what was going on behind him. Every time he got knocked to the ground he would simply get back up and continue going no matter how much pain he was in. Louvel was somewhat intelligent though, he often would cure himself to help him keep going and pushing forward, trying to prevent himself from getting to the point he was on his last leg and desperate.

Karina charged in full throttle. She was impressed that the young girl that they came to help earlier was still going to fight, especially after noticing what she just went through. Karina could only guess that the girl that was killed was someone close to this one. "Ananta... I am trusting you." She muttered obviously concerned of her children who where taking shelter in the cave. Karina gave Eric a slight nod, happy that he was helping out with the small heartless, he was thinking ahead. But Karina had her sights set on the big one. That was the one she was going to destroy.

"Stop!" Karina cried out, her voice strained and upset. "If I die it won't be because of you so don't even think that." She had stopped walking and simply stood facing away from everyone and the battle at hand. Karinas fists where white as she clenched them. Suddenly Karina's voice became low and quiet. "Amends...." She said softly. "You are trying to make amends aren't you? At least you have that as a goal in life, as depressing as it is..." She muttered. "I don't even have that..." Karina's keyblade had now appeared back in her hands, not out of her own will but its will. Karina didn't feel worthy to have it at this time but instead of letting it disappear or throwing it on the ground she through it at Vincent. The twirling blade slashed him across the chest before falling to the ground. As soon as it hit the ground it appeared back in Karina's clenched fists. "Why did you chose me?" She asked her keyblade knowing she was not going to receive an answer.

"I don't serve you." Zylens answer was short and simple. He was not afraid to admit that he simply did as he was told by Damnation. He was a pawn and didn't mind, at least it gave him a purpose. While most bad guys might have made more threats or share their plans, Zylen did not. He was a quiet boy, he didn't like to talk much. Instead he began to dig his talons in more but as he did a bright light was shined in his face. Zylen let go and backed away hissing slightly. "Damn you girl!" He yelled out as he covered his face. The bright like in contrast to the darkness around him burnt his eyes. "You will pay for that." He said removing his hands from his face. His eyes where slightly red but he closed them again. He would have to rely on his hearing now to get him through this. He refused to return to damnation a failer if he could help it.

Karina got the wind knocked out of her as she hit the ground from Eons tackle. She then felt the warmth of Eon still holding onto her, hugging her. "Why?!" Karina yelled out. "Why am I important. You hardly know me! My past is not in the past it still lives to haunt me! I can't expect you to know or understand. I can't just move forward and pretend it didn't happen! Life doesn't work that way, you are just to young and naive to know. You think life is all sunshine lolipops and rainbows, but guys what it is not!" Karina was nearly in tears but she didn't let herself cry as she pushed Eon off of her and stood up. "I don't want to live! Don't you get it? I just didn't want to die at the hands of my father." Karina finished as she started to walk away. She had dropped her keyblade on the the ground and left it behind. "You are going to have to finish this fight without me. That or let him kill me. You can not follow me and leave Kross here." It was almost like a dark cloud followed Karina as she walked. Her mood let off an almost dark aura.

"Important?" Karina muttered. "You are mistaken. I am of no importance. Not to you, not to anyone. It is just a delusion, stop kidding yourself. But I guess you are just a kid after all, you wouldn't know better." Karina said grimly. She then watched Eon get in her way and take the hit. This would be followed by one more, not one from Vincent but from Karina as this time she didn't stop herself from smacking Eon. "You idiot." She said under her breath as she attacked Vincent to once again push him back away from Eon and give herself room to position herself so she would take the hit. She made she there was enough room between her and Eon that the next hit that Vincent delivered there was no way of him being quick enough to get in between. Karina knew she had done damage to Vincent. Despite not hitting him much, her strength made her hit harder then she intended.

Dawn did not even notice the heartless behind her until after Anta had taken the hit for her. "Oh my goodness are you okay?" She said surprised that Anta would have taken the hit for her. She was thankful that Anta did that, she didn't think that Anta liked her, much less enough to take the hit for her. Dawn sent a blast of ice at the heartless, but it turned out to do nothing. It was time for her to rely souly on her physical strength and speed to get her through the fight.

Dawn looked over to see a young boy yelling at them 'hello.'
"Um if you excuse us we kinda need to fight. Care to help." She said with a small smile as she turned back to the heartless and continued to fight them. Dawns speed was unmatched by most. It made up for her not being able to use her magic in this situation. She could keep up fine.

Dmitri was upset to the extreme with Dain so he didn't bother having anything to do with either of them. He was off in his own world fighting. The only place he was in complete peace within his own mind. Despite fighting being opposite from peace. Dmitri's mind was distracted hence settled by it. One after another the heartless turned into puffs of smoke around him and not once did he ever turn back to see what Dain and India was doing.

"No, no we are not. This is my life to do what I please with. You don't get to control it!" Karina yelled at Eon before turning to Vincent once more. She used her keyblade to attack a couple times in order to get Vincent back away from the others. Karina then returned to her defensive position taking a couple hits from Vincent. Karina simply shook it off and kept going. It didn't bother her all that much. She could take some pain. She always did with her father, this wasn't that different.

Zylen landed directly between Doku and her cat friend. "Look, orders are orders. He wants you to dead so that is what I will do.. Kill you... Both of you." Zylen had no sound of remorse. He didn't care what the girl had to say. He had to kill her so that is what he would do. Zylen reached out and grabbed Doku by the neck. He pushed his talons into her neck, not hard enough to pierce skin but hard enough to keep her from moving. Zylen pointed his finger of his other hand at Serena's face. "I will get to you when I an done with this one." This not a threat but a promise, he didn't plan on not finishing this job.

Xaria gave a small wave over her shoulder as she walked into the darkness by herself. Generally she didn't feel too much in danger walking home in the dark despite not living in a very nice neighbor hood, but tonight she was scared. All the things she was told about the mafia made her feel like she could be a target for them. Especially if anyone one there would find out who her family was. Then the mafia would really like her. This thought scared Xaria and caused her to pick up speed as she ran to the safety of her home. Perhaps once the sun came up in the morning she would feel better and ready for work.
