Dawn was slightly surprised that they agreed with the idea of building a raft. She didn't mean for it to be taken seriously. However if that is what the others wanted to do, she would do it. Anta then brought up the idea of swimming. "Um... swimming isn't a good idea.... I can't swim very well." Dawn admitted shyly. She knew enough that if she fell off the raft she wouldn't immediately drown but not enough to swim a great distance.

Dawn watched Anta walk off while they where still deciding exactly what to do. She looked at Mist.
"I know you don't remember stuff, but it seems you have a good idea what we need to do. Why is that?" She asked curious. The girl was a fair amount more vocal on what they needed to do then Dawn had imagined she would be. It wasn't long after that Anta returned stating she found a boat and then helping Dawn up. "Thank you... Anta. And since we don't know where here is, it is hard to say exactly." She said with a smile before looking at the boat. "But wouldn't taking that be stealing? I don't like the idea of stealing. Perhaps we should just build our own." Dawn finished at the risk of sounding far to good. But if they took someone else's boat they may end up stranding someone else here or something like that.

Dmitri was getting irritated with India. Just his tone and the way he went about spurting facts like he was there and knew about their lives bothered Dmitri to no end. Not as much as Dain did but still a lot. "You are wrong with one thing though... Dawn would have been one when the indecent happened. She wouldn't have remembered. She doesn't even remember that she was adopted when she was three..." Dmitri gave a slight chuckle taking joy in the fact India was wrong about something. His chuckle turned into a laugh when Dain was hit by the fire ball and began to freak out trying to put the fire out. But it wasn't long before his laughter became grim once more. India had brought back painful memories and they began to wreck him from the inside out. He wasn't as mentally strong as he lead some people like his sister to believe. He was physically strong but that was it. And there where times like earlier that day he wasn't able to keep his cool and would go a bit over board. One of them getting a bit injured in a battle was nothing knew but he felt bad for hurting her more after, he just wanted to protect her from people they didn't know. Not let her go with them, but to do so was yanking her injured arm hurting her more. At that point it wasn't being over protective it was his aggression coming out. He wasn't always able to keep that in check. "Lets just go!" Dmitri said in a voice that was a mix between anger and sadness. He just wanted to get off this damn tree.

Karina rolled her eyes at Kross as he was talking. He had somewhat of a point but their talking didn't hurt anything either. And how could they NOT see Gastons darkness. He reeked of it. Eon simply agreed with Kross, meanwhile Karina didn't say anything. She simply crossed her arms and kept walking ahead. She wore a scowl across her face that would not be welcoming to anyone that they may pass by.

Damnation had disappeared once more. Thus time he didn't simply appear behind her, no instead he stayed out of sight and laughed. Zage looked around trying to fins where it was coming from, but she saw nothing. A shiver went up her spine once more as Damnation stood behind her once more. This time before she could do anything he had put his hand on the back of her head. He began to talk of her deepest fear that lay deep within her subconscious. One she herself didn't always realize she had. As he was talking suddenly everything went black, then silent. "wh-what's going on?" She stuttered. Zage reached forward to grab onto something to steady her as she tried to walk away and though her hand stopped moving she didn't feel anything there. Zage took a couple steps back before falling to the ground landing on her butt. "Help. What's going on, I can't see!" Zage called out but all she heard back was an echo of her own thoughts. She was trapped alone inside her own mind. Zage couldn't control herself as she started to tremble on the ground. "Someone, answer me. Please." once again the only response she got was an echo of her own mind.

Zylens eyes widened as the paw came down towards his face. He didn't blame the cat for wanting to kill him but he had hoped that his plea would go through to her. But the paw never made contact with his face. Instead it landed beside. The girl said she didn't want to kill like the rest, he had to admire that. For him it wasn't much of an option. It was all he knew how to do. If he didn't kill then he wouldn't be of use to Damnation and be put back into a place of not having a purpose or anything to do with his life. No guidance and he would be all alone once again. He didn't think he could stand returning to that life.

Next the girl who had administered the drug approached him, flipping him over. He was a little more confident that she wouldn't kill him. If she was going to, why take the time and waste the potion to paralyze him. That was his thought pattern until she reached for his neck. He looked away from Doku, mentally preparing himself for what he assumed came next. But instead of great pressure on his neck she gently lifted his mask up to cover his face once again. She too had spared him, but why? She then instructed him to act as though nothing had happened. To tell Damnation he was delusional. Did she really think that Damnation was stupid enough to believe that?

As the girls left and he waited for the drug to wear off Zylen was left to consider his three options. First, he did as she said and try to convince Damnation that he was delusional. Although Zylen had never been good at lying, he didn't think he could possibly convince Damnation of that. Second, he could tell Damnation that everything went well. But if he found out Zylen was lying he could be in great trouble, more then just saying he failed. Finally he could simply head back to the underground, go to his room and stay there until Damnation called for him next. If Damnation asked he would tell him they got away and accept the consequences. Though he wanted to respect the girls wishes since she had saved her, he knew the best action for him was the last once. That was he decided.

When Zylen was finally able to move once again he started heading back. He kept to the shadows on the way back and did his best to remain out of sight until in his room. He would rather not get questioned about what happened just yet. The young man held great respect for Damnation but along with that great fear. He would do whatever possible to avoid the Mutant unless getting instructions for his next job. Even then he rarely came out from the shadows and showed his face.

Zage couldn't believe she had missed. Damnations cold hand against her back made her shiver. Zage spun around once more swinging aimlessly at Damnation. She did have more skill then what she was currently showing but through a mix of being over tired and scared she wasn't in the right mind set to use it properly. She wanted to either make a deal or for him to leave. She didn't want to be toyed with. She just wanted to get out of there, back to her warm safe bed. She had dealt with enough creeps today.

"I'm fine!" Karina said quickly, barely turning her head back to talk to him. She was retreating into her own world of despair once more, but she wouldn't let it show if she could help. She would prefer to keep them all hidden, and to herself, playing the part of the strong one if she could help it. But even Karina knew that it would only last for so long. Even she knew that she would eventually break and that point was approaching quick. She could feel it.

As Karina walked ahead, not trying to lead just not wanting to see anyone, or have anyone see her face, her care free demeanor changed back the the upset worried one. How could she let her guard down, let herself feel for someone, even in the slightest. Vincent was a complete stranger, and just because he was cute she allowed her mind to go blank, and even had a couple outbursts. "I'm so stupid..." She said quietly. She was slowly bringing her defenses back up. Hide her feelings. It was then she heard a voice in the sky. Her fists clenched tight and she refused to look up. It was that idiot. He didn't even know what he was talking about. She simply attempted to ignore the comments and keep going. It was probably all in her mind anyway, but why it was Beuces voice talking to her baffled her.

Zylen couldn't say he was surprised by Neko's counter attack. Monkey see, monkey do... or cat in this instance. Pretty much copying what he did to try to use it against him. He wouldn't let that work though. He just had to stall for a moment longer while he finished formulating his next plan of action. That turned out to be a devastating mistake for him. The other girl, Doku had sneaked up behind him sticking him the a needle. He whipped his head around to look at her, baring his fangs, but before he could do anything he felt his muscles relax. His entire body began to relax and become hard to move. Soon he couldn't move at all. His talons relaxed releasing Neko from his grip. At this point he was defeated. They had a clear opportunity to kill him when he couldn't do anything, and admittedly he was scared. Sure he didn't have much to live for, but he didn't want to die either. "Please..." He did his best to say with the drug at full effect. It was all he could bring himself to say at this time.

The one girl ran off crying leaving simply Zage and Damnation. She was sick of standing their listening to him insult her race. She lifted her sword one more prepared to fight when Damnation seemly disappeared. Or so she thought until she heard his voice behind her. She spun around on her heels to face him. She took a could steps back bringing her sword to her side. Zages eyes went from soft calm nature, to an angry determined one. She leaped forward bringing her sword in an upward diagonal slash at Damnation. "I didn't want to get blood on my hands, but you are asking for it!" She said, her voice filled with hate and rage.

"Huh?" Karina jumped at Eons question not expecting him to speak. Her face turned slightly red not wanting to explain it to Eon. "Nothing, no reason... Maybe when you're older." She replied as she speed up her walking. That was when Vincent moved slightly and his hair and cape swayed beside him. Was he trying to embarrass her more? Karina did her best to keep from showing what she thought of the sight. How could this be happening to her. She never got like this around a guy. Most annoy her to no end. She shook her head and tried to keep going not focusing on Vincent. "That was smart." Karina commented as Vincent reveled an arrow to guide their path. Karina kept walking trying to stay slightly ahead, just enough that none of the guys would see her face.

Karina followed close behind Vincent. She slightly twirled a strand of her long black hair on her index finger as they walked. For once Karina could say her mind was completely blank. She wasn't mopping about the past or thinking about how she wanted to murder someone, she was simply walking without much thought to what was going on. It was rare that she felt that way but she kind of liked it. Although Karina's head couldn't stay in the clouds forever, they did actually have a mission that needed completed.

After giving the instructions Xepphiras went back in to attack when she saw Omega charge up an attack. She slowed down and came to a stop in awe of what was happening. She soon shook it off and got ready to attempt to block or avoid depending on the attack then attack once again. Before she could get very far she sensed someone approaching. She turned to look seeing it was R and as he got there he wrapped her up in his arms. It was then Omega released his attack. A massive shock wave. She could feel the force of it but not as well as some other due to R positioning himself between her and the shock wave to protect her.

The words that R spoke while they where flying through the air where barely audible, but she knew what he was trying to say none the less. Hitting the ground she let out a small cough into R's chest feeling the wind knocked out of her slightly, but she had no concern with her own well being. It was R she was worried about, she had just finished saying she would protect him but then he had to protect her once again. She hated it. It made her feel useless and helpless. But at the same time she knew that if R had not done it her body was too frail to withstand all the damage in and of itself. She had gotten stronger since R first found her but it would take much longer to fix years of malnutrition and various other things that caused her body not to be in top shape.
"R... I was going to protect you for once. I want to try. But I guess I can't." Xeppiras looked up at R to see the dark substance come out of his mouth. She berried her head back in his chest not wanting to see the pain he was in. She could hear another attack begin but felt nothing. She didn't want to look up again so she kept her had in R's chest. To be honest she didn't want to leave the protection of R's arms. She liked the feeling of him holding her. She knew they couldn't sit there forever but for the moment she could.

Eric wasn't prepared for Omega's attack. He was close enough to the cave that he got pushed into it. Eric hit the back wall with great force. He groaned as he lifted her hands up to protect his head from pieces of debris that where flying in the cave towards him. Lucky for him that he landed in the cave. The following attack didn't reach him but he felt the ground shake and feared the possibility of the Cave collapsing due to the force of the beams of light hitting outside of it. As rocks began to fall into the inside of the cave it revealed a hole out the roof. Eric knew he had to take this opportunity. He hopped onto his glider and flew straight up out the gap, but not before grabbing Dawn in attempts to try to save her. He wanted to save everyone but she was in the worst shape at the time and he could only take one.

Louvel was getting more and more tired but not giving up. He was put in charge of the lights and felt like he was failing them thus far. He had to do something to prove his worth to them, so he kept fighting. That was until Omega released his first attack. Louvel was desperate to get away. He had to turn to a desperation move if he wished to survive this next attack. A orb of light radiated from Excalibur and expended until it completely engulfed Louvel. Louvel found himself in a green field, away from the war. He collapsed on the grass in exhaust. He felt bad for running but there was not much he could do. He looked around. "So this is avalon." He muttered as he closed his eyes feeling safe for the moment.

"No!" Karina shouted not realizing what she said till after she said it. Karina covered her mouth in embarrassment. She didn't mean to sound so clingy, but she didn't want to watch Kross walk away with Vincent. "I will go with you. If we are fast enough we can reach them before Gaston anyways. Karina got a shiver as she could almost feel Gastons darkness. All the talk of it disturbed her and she just wanted to get away from it. Although Karina did contain darkness it wasn't the same kind as what she was feeling now. It spawned from a dark past. This one was full of hate and rage. It was clouded judgment and negative emotions. It was a far more evil darkness. Karina tugged Eons shirt. "I think we better follow Vincent's advice and go... We can fight him later." She said quietly to Eon. Karina didn't really care to do anything with the castle but bring Belle back to her father. Her only goal here.

Zylen by this time was able to open his eyes once more and saw the trick she pulled. He didn't see her switch hands but he saw the water on the ground and Doku tuck something close to her chest. Zylen was going to go after her once more as she tried to retreat but he had a bigger problem with the cat lady behind him. Zylen turned around just in time to see her take a swipe. He attempted to jump back out of the way, and it almost worked too, but she caught a bit of his leg. He landed not letting the scratch bother him. He considered using his weapon but then decided that it was more fun to do this by hand. He slowly lowered the cloth hiding his mouth. He jumped forward attempting to dig his claws into Neko and bite her neck with his sharp fang like insizers.

Though Zage's hands where trembling she knew she had to respond or do something. "No!" She said simply. Not a word she was all that familiar with. Zage never could bring herself to say no that often, but what else could she say here. She slowly raised her head ready to fight if she had to. "Your right, no one would really miss me or notice I am gone, but that doesn't mean I won't fight back. I am not helpless like those other woman." She still held her sword in a fighting position but lowered it and decided to try her womanly charms first. "Perhaps we can work out some sort of deal? I would hate for blood to stain my beautiful hands." Zage tilted her head to the side slightly and batted her eyelashes. A cute little smile crossed her face. No matter what the situation it seemed that Zage was still rather talented at pulling out the womanly charms and looking cute.

Karina nodded at Vincents show of appreciation but grinded her teeth at Gastons comment. His condescending attitude towards woman was really getting on her nerves. She wanted to beat some sense into Gaston but had to hold herself back. But it seemed she wasn't the only one who wanted to do so. Eon stood guard with keyblade up. It seemed he was ready for a fight. If he was so was she. "Vincent are you going to help us or do you need to go?" Karina asked hoping it wasn't the second.

Karina smiled as she hopped on the back of Eons keyblade glider. "Been a while since we have fought side by side with each other. I missed it." Karina gave Eon a quick peck on the cheek as they flew towards Omega. Once close enough she positioned herself to fight from the back of Eons glider. With him driving and her attacking it made it easier to get close and attack since the beast was flying.

Xerpphiras kept trying to fight. From the corner of her eye she could see R get up. He didn't seem to be in shape to be doing anything. Leaving the others to attack she turned back to R. "Sit down and relax. This time I protect you!" Xapphiras instructed not needing R to get involved again, or so she believed. Slowly more and more she was getting injured, but she could take it. She was no where near as injured as R. It was her turn to make a difference. She was not close to R but close enough to yell to him and for him to hear her.

Dmitri was aggravated by India trying to be all smart and forcing him to look over the edge of the Colosseum. He was just about to turn around and yell when India began speaking again. He didn't stop to be polite while India was speaking, no that wasn't like him. What stopped him was India's words. He spoke of something he knew little about but got it really accurate. It actually hurt him. How was he to react to such a thing. Dmitri stayed staring out over the edge of the Colosseum in silence for a moment. When he turned around you could see pain in his eyes as he took a deep breath ready to speak, but this time not harshly. "I was six... I couldn't save her from those vial men. I devoted my life to becoming as strong as I could be ever since in order to protect Dawn.... That is not even her real name." Dmitri smiled slightly as he remembered when they had adopted Dawn at the age of three.

Dmitri's memories didn't last long before they were interrupted by Dain handing him a Remedy. Dmitri smashed the remedy with his bare hands before his look of sadness turned to one of anger but he didn't say anything. He couldn't, not this time. He didn't have the energy to fight too much more with Dain. He was an idiot, plain and simple. He would never understand Dmitri and why he did what he did or care to think of others. Dmitri was ready to give up and just walk away when Dain threw another Remedy at him. Dmitri with one swift movement sliced the flask out of mid air in half spilling its contents all over the ground.
"You are going to regret tossing that at me. You are going to need that right away." Dmitri threatened as he shot a fire ball at Dain. He then looked over his shoulder at India. "One question... how did you know Dawn was adopted not just..." Dmitri stopped for a moment shooting another fire ball. "another younger sister of mine."

Dawn fell to the ground tired from all the fighting. She had the speed alright but stamina was another story. She wasn't so good at that. Not sure what to do now she looked to the other two girls. "So uh... what now?" She as she put her hands behind her head and laid back staring at the clear blue sky. "How do you suppose we get back home from here. I am sure Dmitri is worried sick. He always is. He is really protective and sometimes that comes off as anger, but I don't mind." By this point Dawn was almost mumbling as she was talking more to herself then anyone else. She had a habit of doing that sometimes, talking to herself. When her brother would keep her indoors it would get lonely and she ended up talking to herself. But at the same time it was something they should know if either of the girls planned to spend any time with her after this. She didn't want anyone getting scared off after all. Despite the fact that heartless just attacked, Dawn wasn't the slightest bit worried or scared. They could handle more if they had to. Suddenly an idea came to her mind. "I got it!" She said out loud sitting up. "We could build a raft and sail off this island." She said with a slight giggle. "Because that would so work. I am just joking. I got no better idea though."

Dmitri snapped out of his violet fit when India started talking to him in a rather condescending tone.
"Hey!" He shouted before he realized he was fighting nothing and started looking stupid. "I am not. Fu- wait..." Dmitri hesitated and started to think. He then began to count on his fingers before speaking once more. "I am 99% sure I am not crazy... I think.... so screw off!" He yelled before eyeing Dain. "Or else you will share his fate if he says anything about my sister again!" Dmitri was scowling at both of them. He wished that he wasn't stuck here with these two lunatics.

"Why don't you open your ears idiot!" Dmitri said in a rather hash tone to Noir as he walked by the new comer. Despite all Dmitri's yelling he still had caught the fact that India had just said that he thought they where on top of Yggdrasil. He didn't even know why he paid attention or believed what India said. He was just a kid, what would he know? And why in the world would there be a Colosseum on top of a tree? How in the world did that make sense? He obviously wasn't the crazy one. Oh no that was definitely India and Dmitri would make sure he knew it. "I am not the crazy one kid. That definitely is you. How in the world would this place be on top of Yggdrasil? That is not really a practical answer. Look at you thinking you are all smart big shot guy. You only pretend to know what you are talking about when you really don't." Dmitri finished.

Karina could tell by the look on Eons face that he was slightly confused. Just the way she wanted it. If he didn't know what was going on there was nothing to tell others. Eon was far to young to understand the concept of having a crush apparently, it was almost cute, it reminded Karina of how young Eon actually was considering how mature he was for his age. Considering where he came from it didn't really come as a huge shock that he wasn't too familiar with that of all things. He didn't particularly come from the nicest place ever, definitely not one that he would find someone to have a crush on and find out what that was like.

A slight smirk crossed Karina's face as Eon spoke. It was a quick comeback, good. Eon was being almost as much of a smart@$$ as she could be. Perhaps that wasn't as much of a good thing. The Karina looked over at Kross. She could tell he wasn't impressed as he answered Gaston politely. Karina merely rolled her eyes. Rule, social expectations, things like that where never her fancy. She preferred to do things her way, plain and simple.

Karina, being in a worse mood then before. She was angry, depressed, and embarrassed now. This didn't make for a good combination. At least she was thankful Kross said he would keep his mouth shut about her little crush. Karina looked up at Gaston on his horse. "No we haven't. Piss off. You yourself made fun of Maurice for thinking their was a beast, and now that someone else said there was one makes it true. Make up your mind already!" Karina said in a stern voice. "Now why don't know go back to your mopping in the stupid little tavern that you like to go to and leave well enough alone. If there is a monster we are more then capable handling it. You would just be in our way. And yes I am a girl and you might not think I know what I am talking about, but screw you! You are the one that doesn't know what they are talking about. Just go get drunk or something." Karina finished. She attempted to cover any comeback Gaston might have had for her. She knew that no one would be happy with her about her words but at this point she could care less. She had thought that she had heard the last of the egotistical maniac back at the tavern but apparently not. "Come on Vincent. Lets go." She instructed as she began to walk away.
