It's not supposed to be. And how did I know you where going to write a message on my profile?
Louvel stared at the X-blade in pure aw. He was a little upset that he didn't get it, after all that was what he had been training for his entire life wasn't it? But he could understand and respect why R was the one it presented itself to. The man who had brought them together, found out how to forge it, honestly there was no one better to wield if. After all Louvel didn't get off empty handed either, he still had Excalibur. Louvel glanced at his sister, he wanted to talk to her during the entire time after the trial but couldn't bring himself to say anything, only now was he able to speak a word to her. "Be careful out there, okay?" It wasn't much but it was all he could say before turning and stepping through the rip in space that R had created with his x-blade. Omega was momentarily distracted at the fact that his shot was thrown off course and almost hit him and that is when Louvel decided to strike. Flying past R with blinding fast speeds, Excalibur in hand, he attacked Omega. His attacks where quick and precises, once his attacks finished he retreated before Omega could do him much harm. He came back and stood next to R. Looking up at him Louvel only had a few words for the man. "Don't die! I am counting on you to take care of my sister after this since I obviously can't, so don't go getting yourself killed out there, got it?" He instructed R. R seemed to have a connection with Sapphire that Louvel didn't quite get but he knew that she was close to R and trusted R more than she trusted him. The truth hurt, but if that was the way it had to be, so be it. Xepphiras only nodded at her brother before stepping through the rift herself. R had said they where all worthy to wield the weapon and as much as Xepphiras wanted to doubt that, she knew that it wasn't the time for doubts, it was just the time for action. Xepphiras summoned her keyblade to her hand as soon as she was on the other side of the portal. She looked at R and Louvel going against Omega, and then to Xero who seemed to be combating Chaos. Xepphiras decided to go the seemingly more independent way and help Xero instead of always following R around. Xepphiras stood on the ground waiting and watching Xero's attack waiting for the right moment. Just as the black beam came from her scythe Xepphiras made her move creating a flaming dark spear, throwing it at the same time as the back beam so they hit at the same time. What she would do next however she was unsure, so she waited for now.
It took a moment before Karina could finally get herself off the ground but eventually she did it and stood high and strong once again facing the mighty behemoth before them. The behemoth was definitely something you didn't want to get involved with, but they had no chose, they had to hold out against the behemoth a little longer until the mirror was fixed. It was fair to say Karina was hating this entire thing more and more by the second. Everything about it bothered her, how long it took, how many heartless there where, the fact that she had to work with a team, her mood swings, and most of all her changing opinions on people. Karina was content with deciding one thing and sticking to it, she didn't need her mind confused with banter like 'he did this so maybe he deserves another chance' or crap like that, but Karina was having trouble avoiding it at the time. Simple thinking was how Karina worked so when things got confusing... well she didn't find it pleasant. It was an understatement to say Karina was angry at this time. After the outburst with Glen, her ever growing anger for the battle and the fact the behemoth had just flicked her away like she was nothing more than a fly, Karina hated it, she hated everything, they all must die. This anger however, like always lead to reckless actions, the kind that got her hurt time and time again. If only she could quell the anger inside of her. Perhaps Eclipse was right when she said that her brash attitude would be her undoing. Either way this didn't stop her from running in anyways. Really nothing would, it was Karina, she went into battle with the behemoths early on next to no health at all yet she still decided to fight not expecting all the healing she was going to get, so when she was almost full health save the health lost from the weapons being thrown at her she wasn't going to stop. She could do it, she would be fine. She knew she would because she was strong... No that was a lie unless you are only talking physical strength but that didn't matter, she wouldn't let one silly behemoth stop her, they had defeated so much already this was not going to be the one that put an end to her. Karina summoned her glider a scooped up a keyblade from the ground nearby where it fell after Steels attack. "Borrowing this." She simply informed him as she flew into the air. Now she could be flying and fighting. Karina flew straight up to the behemoths horn but before she could attack the behemoth started to form a weapon out of darkness to combat her. Of course it wasn't going to let her get away easy. Karina bit down on her lower lip as she tried to figure out what to do about it. This was the start of a clash between the behemoth and Karina. The behemoth started a sword fight with her, him seeming not to even being trying. Meanwhile Karina was struggling to not lose her balance as she piloted her glider and tried to block and guard attacks. It wasn't long before she was panting. Karina was getting desperate at this point. Karina made one last ditch effort to at least do something to the heartless. Just as it took a swipe at her she jumped from her glider summoning her keyblade to her hand. With both Keyblades she was able to get close enough to the horn to get a few strikes in. Only a few hits however because the behemoth was not dumb, he soon realized what she had done and summoned a concentrated orb of darkness to fly at her knocking her out of the air. Karina couldn't even make a sound, the attack surprised her and caught her at a loss for breath. Karina was pushed to the ground, as she hit her head bounced hitting the ground a second time. The dark orb soon dissipated around Karina leaving the young girl out cold. She was breathing, just not moving, completely passed out. Her keyblade had disappeared already, meanwhile the one she borrowed from Steel landed a couple meters away from her. After everything in the battle that was how she lost, knocked out of commission because of her reckless attitude thinking she could fight it on her own, of course. In all honestly it wasn't all that surprising and as Karina slept she didn't look mad or anything like usual, just... peaceful. Karina was ready to deliver the final blow on the seemingly useless behemoth known as Unibertha, but before she could the one that hadn't done like anything stepped up claiming the heartless as his and calling her a whore... well a kill stealing whore if you wanted to be percise, but it didn't matter the context it still pissed her off. The barrier surge that was originally meant for Unibertha was soon aimed at Glen, but Karina stopped before performing the move realizing something. Karina's fists loosened as she turned to Beuce letting out a slight chuckle of amusement. "I am pretty sure he just called you a girl." Karina didn't know why she found such amusement in it, she just did, perhaps it was just because a joke was finally cracked during this harsh battle and it lightened the mood a bit. "I guess I can see that." With that Karina then turned to Glen who had just finished off the behemoth. She marched straight up to him without hesitation and poked him in the chest. "You! How dare you come in and call me a kill stealing whore! I came over here to fricken help you so we could get out of here and you wouldn't die because you were just standing there and your thanks is calling me a kill stealing whore?! Ugh! You really want me to kill you don't you? I am not afraid to do it, and I doubt I will need my keyblade for it." Karina taunted as she scowled and made a tight fist. Karina quickly used a right hook and punched Glen in the jaw. "Douchbag." Karina grumbled as she turned away from him before getting even more annoyed, and yes that was possible. Now with that taken care of Karina looked around the room. One heartless remained, the big one that she hadn't dared go near until then. Karina took a deep breath before starting striding over towards the big behemoth. At least no one was tied up with other heartless now, but that didn't mean they would do anything. So many people hadn't done anything this battle they wanted to get themselves killed, Glen included. Karina figured either way with the help they had they would be able to bring down the great behemoth without too much trouble. Karina rushed forward to help the others without worry, that was until a sword made of dark energy flew past her head. Karina kept walking trying to keep calm. Then another came. It seemed that the behemoth had seen her coming and starting its attack on her. Why it chose to attack her, she couldn't fathom but either way she would find a way to defeat it. The heartless soon started to shoot dark weapon after dark weapon at her, conjuring each one before throwing it with ease. One after another, after another. It was starting to be hard to dodge. Karina got hit was a few of them. She began to be more and more thankful for the cure from Kel, the cure and aero from Stratos, and the seven cures from Beuce. Without them Karina would surely be out by now. Karina soon picked up the pace and tried her best to dodge the attacks. She had to get close enough to attack, do some help at least, she would do it if it was the last thing she did. She had to be of some help here. The last little bit she used barrier surge to close the distance and deal some damage, she continued to attack until it simply got swatted away. Now on the ground looking up at the behemoth she realize how big it truely was. "W-what had we gotten ourselves into...." Karina muttered while shaking. Karina was relieved to hear Beuce say that he didn't hate her. After all she kinda took over the last hit on the behemoth, over killed it and moved on like it was nothing. In reality it was far more effort than it was worth but that wasn't how the others saw it, they seemed to more see it as her hogging the glory. Karina bit her lower lip as she thought of that. Karina wouldn't let herself get close to people and because of that she was very independent, but still she longed for approval, something she rarely got. Karina almost blushed when Beuce said she was cool, like he actually didn't mind her and wasn't just putting up with her. She held back the red from crossing her face and turned away from Beuce so he hopefully wouldn't notice if any did slip through. Beuce spoke again about finishing off the behemoth, Karina simply nodded as she looked at the behemoth. Beuce was the first to act and all that the behemoth did was lay down. What was this behemoth doing? Was it planning something or was it just that useless that it got tired of standing and being beat on so it laid down and continued to endure the torment. Karina shook her head as she looked at the behemoth, at least they where finally catching a break, that was a relief. With Beuce done attacking and telling her it was her turn Karina rushed at Bertha. Un upper cut style slash was used to push the behemoth in the air followed by Karina leaping up after it. She soon turned and brought her keyblade down on it's head smashing it to the ground. Once back on the ground Karina preformed a six hit combo on it's horn, finishing the entire thing with a poison edge just for good measure. Backing up this time a little more tired having done more than the times before, Karina gazed as the heartless, it barely moved. This was not the end of the battle however, soon the behemoth started moving its unibrow. The two edges came forward and between them a dark ball of fire formed. The behemoth took it's time firing it off, giving Karina plenty of time to move so the behemoth missed it's mark. Instead the dark firaga flew past Karina a Beuce straight at the back of Arma the Kingsmoth. Karina couldn't help but laugh as the giant behemoth let out a roar of anger almost to yell damn it at the young useless behemoth. Oh well sucked to be both of them she guessed. "Well that was certainly something. " Karina said to Beuce with a loss for any other words. This entire fight had been crazy, strange, random, weird, however you wanted to classify it; but she didn't expect to see a behemoth hit is teammate with so much force, especially without encouragement from the wielders. Karina had moved long enough before that Bertha had time to redirect her aim before shooting but still she missed. It was pathetic really. Who had taught this behemoth how to fight? And why was she summoned into war? The poor thing obviously didn't know what she was getting herself into when she came to this battle. Karina wouldn't go easy on the behemoth however, it still deserved everything she was about to give it and more when she was through. Just because she was with the others. Karina realized how shallow and judgmental her thinking was, but what did she care, she was Karina, she judged everything regardless of what or who it was and usually not very nicely. Karina didn't realize how hard she had been biting her lower lip until then, when the taste of blood stung her tongue. She hated the metalic taste of it, it bothered her immensely but the sight of blood not so much. Karina gritted her teeth as she heard another voice. This one more shrill, annoying and... and girly than the last one that had approached her before. The voice of a woman that annoyed her to no end. A voice that came from someone she hated, and here was a hint, it was not Ananta. This voice was one she didn't hate nearly as much as the other woman, though she hated both. Karina heard it as a high pitch almost squeal. Her jaw clenched tight as her grip on her keyblade tightened until her knuckles where white. Karina turned her head only slightly and eyed the girl who was offering to help her... Luna... The girl that attacked her own team back when Karina first joined SOS back in the Dwarf Woodlands. Karina had absolutely no trust for the girl of course she didn't want help from her. Karina turned to the girl fully, rage in her eyes. "I am not the one you should be helping you strung up little B****! If you want to be helpful why don't you go help Stratos. Do you really think I need help with this little thing? Look at that one, and he is trying to take it pretty much alone. This one is easy compared to it! You should be concerning yourself with that thing and other team mates not me. Prioritize, geez girl!" Karina yelled at Luna. Karina loosened her hand and the keyblade disappeared out of her hand. Karina didn't know what to do next, she wasn't thinking clearly. Slowly she approached Luna, grabbing her by the waist. She lifted the girl above her head with her massive strength. It wasn't long before Karina tossed her in the direction of Stratos and the big behemoth. "Four!" Karina yelled as she threw behemoth. "Idiot, you got off easy." Karina mumbled under her breath as Luna flew and hit the behemoth instead of landing near it. Oops. Oh well she deserved it but Karina did hope the behemoth didn't hurt Luna too bad. Now with that stupid B**** taken care of Karina could focus on the unibrowed behemoth that stood in front of her. She could take it on her own, easy. She needed no ones help but at least Karina was indifferent enough towards him that she wouldn't throw him across the room to make him go away. Karina cracked her knuckles before summoning her keyblade back to her. It was time for her to do a little more damage and show Glen up some more even though he wasn't doing anything, was he even there any more? Karina charged forward and started a rapid succession of attacks on the behemoth taking little break between each attack. The sooner this behemoth was taken down the sooner she could take her own advice and helped with the big behemoth. This Behemoth was so dull to fight, it wasn't doing much but that was fine. It was easier to fight the behemoth anyways if it didn't do much, saved Karina from a lot of pain. Rushing forward Karina hit it once more. Karina looked at Beuce to see what he was about to do, she didn't think she was going to fight alone when she sent Luna away, not that she would have allowed her to stay anyways. Karina was no longer at a loss of breath after every time she tried to attack. She was ready to attack right away again but she wanted to see that she was not the only one attacking this thing. Although at this pace she would just keep attacking on her own, but whatever she could do it. Oh knowing this group a lot
Karina once again had to stop to catch her breath, it seemed that her endurance lessened with the greater the injuries. It made sense she just didn't like it. Karina glanced up at her doom counter over her head and sighed. There was time to defeat this thing but she would be cutting it close if she kept having to stop and rest like she was having to. She wouldn't let a stupid number floating above her head beat her though. She would finish the behemoth off first, she would make sure of it. Karina was ready to move forward and attack again... well as ready as she would get, she was not in a very good position to be fighting, but she did what she had to in order to survive, when she felt a hand on her shoulder. Karina looked over to see Beuce had walked up behind her. "So do you hate me too." She asked in an almost sad voice. Staring at him she didn't know how she felt about him anymore. Part of her was happy that her comrade was their to help. He had saved her a couple times in this battle, another part however was annoyed to see him. Before the battle she hated his guts. She didn't know what to think of him now. It was hard, Karina was never good at letting go of the past, but after all he had done for her, did she have much choice? During this time of thinking, Beuce had lifted his keyblade and started casting a spell. A warm feeling filled her as a green glow surrounded her. Though this didn't only happen once but seven consecutive times. The pain in every muscle was almost not even noticeable now. She was a lot more full of life now, energy returning to her body. Karina viewed her pain as a sort of punishment but was thankful it was gone. "Thanks...." She grumbled under her breath. Being appreciative was not a strong suite of Karina's, nor where a lot of things that involved being nice to others. Beuce continued to ask if he could give her a hand with the behemoths. "Do as you wish, but I am going to finish this one off myself." She instructed as she stared straight ahead at the behemoth she had almost finished taking down, the behemoth with so many forms and skill sets it didn't seem to make any sense. With Beuces head removed from her shoulder no longer stopping her from fighting and the doom counter with less than a minute left on it Karina stepped forward to make her move, the one that would hopefully take this behemoth out. Karina charged forward and leaped at the behemoth, but as she did it seemed to have disappeared. Karina landed and looked around for the behemoth. Soon she heard a small ribbit from near her feet, looking down Karina spotted a frog. Karina stepped on it without a thought. She didn't know it but that small frog had been the behemoth. After the disappearance of the behemoth Karina looked around for her next target. She looked at one behemoth that seemed to have a unibrow, then to the other... three.... no there was only one now and it wasn't something she wanted to mess with. Looking upon the behemoth Karina legitimately felt frightened of the thing. The spectrum had been bad enough but she could tell this one was worse. Karina turned back to the one with a unibrow and decided to take it out before it could join that mess of a behemoth. If it did they would all be dead, she knew it. Karina charged at Bertha with a fearsome attack, this time there was no great amount of fatigue t hold her back. The attacks where getting stronger as Karina put more force and focus into them. She would defeat the behemoth so she could move onto Aux. Though trying to kick Aux's butt in the sorry state she was in didn't seem like the best idea when she actually stopped to think about it. When at full health and doing find she tried to stop him from taking Belle and he utterly destroyed all of them, how did she expect to beat him on his own after a battle that nearly killed her a few times now, it was starting to seem less and less likely that she could. That didn't stop Karina from going through and planning on different ways she could brutally murder the man. Murder him for making her fail at her missions, murder him for beating her and her comrades to the ground without any mercy. Murder him for causing all this! She knew that he was working under a higher power but Karina couldn't bring herself to worry about that person, her only worry was Aux and destroying him. A spear launched at Karina's head was what jerked her out of her thoughts. Karina jumped back just in time to narrowly avoid the attack. Next thing Karina knew a number was above her head, counting down. Well this wasn't good, doom counters. Gritting her teeth she knew that she had to make this fast. Soon The behemoth grabbed a different weapon this one a weird looking gun blade to attack Karina with. Dodging the shots where not easy, some made contact but thanks to the wind barrier the damage was minimal. Karina huffed as she tried to go on offense but was forced to stay on defense. After was a hammer. The behemoth attacked with a god damn hammer. To top that off he was casting numerous fire spells at her. That was an interesting combination of attacks for sure. Next weapon that came was a sword, but this was no ordinary swordsmanship. The behemoth had a magic type sword. What the serious hell was with this thing? But seeing it not longer shooting at her with a gun, which is generally too quick to do anything but block and dodge she took the chance to go on offense. Running forward she used her keyblade to defect against the sword which the behemoth carried before continuing forward and up at the behemoths horn. She only struck it once before being forced to deal with the swing of the sword once again at her. Karina sighed as she avoided the attack and landed back on the ground. She waited a moment before racing forward once again. It would have been so much easier if it had just had a spear. Karina glanced up at her doom counter, good she still had time. Karina dashed forward encasing herself in a barrier that blocked the behemoths next attack on her way to attack once more. Her attacks where strong and quick, exactly what they needed to be if she wanted to defeat this thing before she got instantly killed by the behemoth through some sort of strange uncurable magic. The thing had so many different fighting styles it was ridiculous. How could it do so much yet be one behemoth, they weren't even related types of attacks like spectrum which where all elemental. These seemed to be everywhere and she didn't get it. At least there was no air ship around for it to fly. That would just make this behemoth not only ridiculous but over powered considering she wouldn't be able to reach it easily and she wouldn't put it past the thing to be able to shoot missiles or something out of it. At this point the wielders are going to the keyblade graveyard. Please try to get there in your next post and not waste too much more time with side plot and conversations, because I am sure I am not the only one who wants to see this finish soon.
A bright light radiated from the mold as the last piece was placed firmly into the mold. The light spread from the pedestal on to the platform everyone was standing on. From there it kept going engulfing all the platforms around, each persons station of awakening disappeared into this explosion of blinding light. With everything now covered the sound of shattering glass was heard as the platform beneath everyone's feet shattered. If anyone was able to open their eyes they would see little shards of glowing colorful stain glass floating up and disappearing into the dark sky that remained above the light. Despite the fact that the platform they had been standing on disappeared, no one fell. They were almost suspended in the air. Finally the light began to fade and as the denizens of both the light and dark opened their eyes they found themselves back on Crystalis, standing in a circle. One orb of light remained high above everyone. Slowly lowering towards them the light faded and revealed the X-blade. The one weapon that could counter the agents that where on a rampage. The blade was similar to the one that was rumoured to be seen since the keyblade war, but something about this one was different. What it was, was hard to say but just looking at it, you could tell this was no replica, this was the true thing, this was the power needed. The X-blade remained floating directly in front of R, the one who had lead this group, brought them together, and the one that would bring peace to the worlds once more, ending this war for good. ~~~~~Meanwhile in the Worlds Beyond~~~~~ "Are you ready tink? We won't let this thing hurt Wendy right." With a small nod from the fairy the flying boy dressed in green flew at the agent that was attacking the planet. It seemed like without a thought the agent opened it's mouth and let out a roar before releasing a laser to not only kill the boy but to kill the war. Blasting through Peter pan the laser kept going to the center of the world. From the inside out the core of the world heated up and spread out destroying the world from the inside out eventually causing it to explode from the heat and pressure building up inside. With that done Chaos simply moved on. One at a time it would destroy each planet searching for the one that the weak so called hero's where hiding out on. The next planet it arrived to was a desert-est like planet. On the surface was a young man protecting a rather pretty woman. In front of them was a big blue thing. "Don't worry Al I will handle this." The genie rolled up his nonexistent sleeve and sent a small spark of magic at the beast trying to make it disappear. When Chaos stayed, unflinching Genie hung his head. "I'm sorry Al. I guess this is goodbye." "Genie look! It's going away." Al pointed as they looked at the retreating Chaos. "You did it!" Jasmine said with some excitement in her voice. Little did the people of this planet know, it wasn't leaving them alone because of the genies magic, but because it was being summoned elsewhere. Kingdom Hearts could sense the return of the X-blade, it was time for the true battle to start but not without a twist. The giant heart shaped moon superpower released one more thing. The second agent was on it's way down. The second agent, Chaos was not as big as the first one but still plenty threatening, dressed in red with demons wings sprouting from it's back. His torn red outfit contrasted the glowing white moon behind him. Though he resembled a man, he was so much more than that, especially when paired with the powers if Omega. The young wielders had their work cut out for them. Now it was just time for the agents to wait for their arrival. The rest of the worlds could wait to be destroyed until either this unlikely group learn to work together to defeat the two agents and prove that they deserve to live, or they are all dead and the less threatening citizens of the different worlds could be taken out with little resistance. When that was complete the worlds could start new again. The universe would start again from nothing and build into something so much more that this universe could ever hope to be. The keyblade graveyard was the perfect place to decide this because it was where the last era ended and the present one started, and once again it would act as the battle field to decide this.
It is true. It is a very evil place.
Karina didn't have much time to collect her self as she hoped. Up until now the behemoth hadn't done much, it was calm and acted surprisingly enough like a standard behemoth. But Karina was getting it low and health and that was about to change. Letting out a loud roar the behemoth stood onto its hind legs. Of course now they all have the ability to stand on two legs, why did this not surprise her. Next thing that happened was a weapon appeared in it's large hand, a spear looking weapon. Well this would be interesting. Karina jumped back as the behemoth moved closer and tried to throw it's spear down at her. Karina might have still been injured but that didn't mean she couldn't be quick when she wanted to be. She wouldn't let her injuries stop her, no way in hell would she let that be the reason she stopped. Pain had never stopped her from doing something before, nor did the idea of consequences to her actions, no matter what those where, they weren't going to stop her now, not while she needed to be strong to beat all theses behemoths. Forced on the defense Karina was searching for a chance to attack that would guarantee that she did not get hit herself. Generally she didn't care too much but in her condition she only have a few hits before she was out. She couldn't afford to be taken out of the battle so on defense she stayed. That was until someone cast cure on her. Kel's cure made it possible to survive one hit and to move freely without inflicting great pain on herself, this one calmed her aching limbs slightly more but not completely as well as provide some endurance. The aero that was cast on top of the cure meant that she could go on offense once more and not completely fear for her life. That being said her body would surely hate her after all this considering that cures, as well as they worked could be seen as more of a temporary fix to problem in battle. Once out of battle she would surely feel the pain. Karina hoped that they would have some time to rest before being forced to go on another mission that they would only fail and let some innocent person get taken by the apprentices. The thought of it annoyed Karina to no end. She grit her teeth wishing she could go back and fight Aux. Karina eye him who had cast both cure and aero on her just then, it was Stratos. Perhaps he didn't hate her as much as she thought or perhaps he couldn't stand the idea of the possibility of her dying because he was weak and no matter what didn't want to see a single person die no matter how inevitable it could seem at times. Although that attitude was similar to Karina's but Karina couldn't stand not to complete something. Whatever she was doing had to be completed, the task and if anything or anyone stood in her way she would do everything in her power in order to get around that and make sure she completed it. Lately it hadn't been turning out well however. They had failed a few missions since arriving and it was eating Karina alive, she hated it. Turning her hate to the behemoth she ran forward and started violently attacking it. Again she wasn't mindlessly attacking it but this time she actually bothered to look up at the thing. She was not so sad and ashamed of herself as much anymore, although those feelings where still in her mind she also had some anger that helped push her forward in the fight. The combination of the two was almost good for Karina The anger made her focus on the behemoth and not just look away any chance she got, and the sadness and shame made Karina focus on her fighting, wanting to prove she was worth while to the others and focus on her self punishment. Xepphiras jumped as R began to yell. With all the time she had spent with him she had never heard him yell, raise his voice sure but even that was rare. This trial was important, she knew that but didn't think it would cause R to lose his calm manner over bickering. Xepphiras looked over at Juliet as R began to yell at her for her actions. She didn't know how Juliet would respond but she hoped that she wouldn't take R's words too harshly. Xepphiras believed R made a good leader because he built his army on respect for him, not fear of him, but in this case for Juliet at least it might change. Either way when Juliet started speaking again she seemed much more calm. The bickering seemed to be ending and Juliet was back in a proper mind set. She told Xepphiras that she wasn't going to take her anger out on her, which was good but she then followed it with another question to R. Xepphiras was just going to let R answer but she had an answer herself. "Mind if I share at least how I think of it... I mean it doesn't mean it is the right or only way and R might have something better to say, but I would still like the chance to share." Xepphiras said not wanting anyone to get angry with her for speaking up. She then continued. "You don't just forget what they have done, you rarely can. But that doesn't mean you have to hate them for it. Thing happen in life that you can't control and that is the way life is. It is okay to be sad about it but you need to know when it is time to let it just be a memory and nothing more, not let it control your life. My sister, well she got our parents killed and tried to kill me before deserting me in a random town I had never been to before. And know what I got out of being angry at her? I got taken over by darkness a bit and caused far more trouble than I wanted to, nearly got myself arrested. It wasn't until I came to terms with what happened, realized it was a part of my life now, there was nothing I could do about it and let go of that anger that the darkness started to quell. I just wish I had learned that far sooner, before darkness gripped my heart enough that I couldn't make it let go. I couldn't go back to a normal life without it sneaking up on me whenever I got angry over anything and trying to take control." Xepphiras finished her story only to realize she probably said more than she should, but she couldn't help herself. In her innocent mind she believed stories like that could help people see the truth, or so she hoped.
Karina knew the others where mad at her, and why? Because she only knew how to do her part. She wasn't good at waiting or planning. Karina simply did what she thought she was supposed to, when she thought she was supposed to, sure she may have done a little more than that but that was because there was still an opening to do so, nothing more. It wasn't because she was writing off their teamwork or anything. She didn't mean for that to happen and she didn't mean for anyone to get upset over it. Karina felt horrible about herself, she practically could feel the anger radiating off Stratos before she walked away, and on south side he wouldn't go anywhere near here or say anything. Perhaps it was because of the Behemoths perhaps it was her. She understood why Stratos wouldn't want to go near one of them, she didn't blame him. But with the amount that where aggroed around them right now she had to do something to help clear them out, even if on her own and in her injured state. She would do everything in her ability to finish off the heartless here and try to make up for north side. Karina looked around at the heartless around them, it would be interesting to try to take them all out. An idea came to mind, dividing each round of damage between all five of them, but drawing that much aggro would be dangerous and she could barely stand not holding her aching stomach at this time. So the other option was focus one at a time and hope that the other people who where just kind of standing around on the south side wouldn't be murdered in the mean time. Although that didn't seem idea it was what had to happen. Before Karina could make a move Kel approached behind her. "You here to lecture me on teamwork or some crap like that." Words where think on her tongue as she spat them out, not turning to face Kel but looking away at the ground. She slowly dropped her hand back down from her stomach, she doubted Kel was naive enough not to notice her injuries but she somewhat hoped her didn't. She didn't want to be the weak one that needed help, she would keep pushing through. Instead of replying to her comment about lecturing her he did indeed cure her and commented on it not being that powerful due to him like her not having much magic. But it did do as he said and mitigate some of the pain, not all of it but enough that every time Karina moved she didn't want to keel over and curl up gripping her stomach. She had been good at hiding how painful it really was thus far but it was getting harder and harder as the time went on. After all a dark firaga from point blank wasn't going to do nothing to her, she just tried to pretend it didn't. "Oh. uh thanks." She muttered still not looking up at Kel. Karina's eyes lifted only slightly from the ground to look at her keyblade she was holding. What was she doing just standing here when she needed to be fighting? Kel had already run off to start fighting some of the smaller heartless himself leaving Karina with the behemoths. She looked at all of them around her then to the others. She could easily go over and help them first, but she considered this, fighting the behemoths herself as sort of a punishment for her selfishness on north side. First fighting the smaller heartless herself and making the others have to deal with the behemoths, Stratos having to do it once alone. As well as the way she finished off the last behemoth, seeming to neglect team work. This is what she got for that. No one here would really be strict and punish her for her actions like there was always someone to on her home world, so she just had to punish herself. She deserved it after all. Running at the behemoth on the lowest health Karina started her string off attacks on it. Her attacks where powerful and focused like they where when she was in a good mood to be fighting. But looking at her she looked like she had lost all hope. Her eyes empty and sad only ever focusing on the behemoth or her keyblade. When she landed from her attacks she just looked down at the ground for a moment collecting herself, preparing herself for her next set of attacks. Karina listened closely to Strat os's plan, well sort of listen. She barely listened to it because she was having trouble totally focusing on what was going on at the time. She had to put a lot of her focus on just the basics and fighting when she had an opening to. She did however catch that she was to cast stop then use poison edge. There goes the slight idea of using her mp to heal. In reality she probably wasn't going to go through with that idea, instead she would save it just in case, but now that little mp she had, she needed to do something else with it, and this time it wasn't healing someone else. This time it was giving her a chance to attack. She could use it to take down the now wavering behemoth. This time she would actually kill it and not leave it at two bp. That sucked. She hated herself for that one and she was punished dearly for that mistake. She nearly died for it and was now suffering. But not this time, this time she would actually kill it. Karina stepped forward and pointed her keyblade at the behemoth, a stop spell prevented it from moving for a small amount of time. She ran up and started attacking. Like Stratos suggested she started with a poison edge. However Karina didn't stop here, she continued to attack using attacks such as barrier surge and vorpal blitz. By the end of these attacks Karina decided to go all out. A small golden red orb formed in her hand. It quickly expanded right before she threw it at the beast. The blast sent her back but the pressure was not enough to hurt her or go too far. Karina landed on the ground and stared at the now defeated behemoth. She probably went over the top killing the behemoth but she was done with them. She didn't want to deal with it any longer. That being said there where still more to be done, and someone else to show up. Holding her stomach she slowly started to make her way to the other side of the area, south side. From what she could see they still had a fair amount of heartless to deal with and very few people actually doing anything. Karina's steps where slow but steady. She would get there and help... no she would get there just to show that she could beat Glen any day. She found a small amount of joy in her misery about this. She would get to show off her skills and hopefully not die in the process. Somehow however Karina needed to find the strength to keep going and not look weak, somehow. She didn't know how but she would. Perhaps another cure spell? No she didn't have the mp for that. It didn't matter anyways. She would work through the pain. Karina got pretty close to the south side and decided she needed to make an entrance. She eyed a few angry behemoths and decided around there would be a good place to do something. She considered hitting all of them just because but knew even a single hit could take her out of the battle. So instead of that she decided to just attack one. Hopping on her glider she flew straight up in the air. Once high enough she summoned her keyblade out from under her and used vorpal blitz to come down on it's horn. Landing on the ground she turned to that group. "You need some help over here." Despite her best efforts to look collected and not injured but she soon groaned and gripped her stomach, but stood back up. She would be fine in theory. Karina hovered on her glider waiting for one of the two men to make their choice so she could get back in the air as soon as possible. The sooner she could get doing something the easier it would be to ignore the immense pain she was in at the time, or at least that was the theory. As long as she wasn't thinking about it, it wouldn't hurt too much. Karina was getting impatient as she waited, groaning once as the pain suddenly spread through her body for a moment before finally subsiding back to the normal amount, which wasn't pleasant either. Before either Stratos or Kel made their decision Beuce started talking. It seemed that the entire time he seemed to be doing not much he was really formulating a plan. Or at least Karina would give him the benefit of the doubt that that was what he was doing not just getting extra rest then coming up with the plan on the spot. As Beuce listed off what each of them would be doing he called Karina's part one of the most important of all. She hoped that she could live up to it, after all she usually disappointed people more than she did them any good, on top of that she was not in top physical condition at the moment and it would take a lot of cure spells and rest to make her in peak condition once again. Either way this wouldn't stop her from trying. She would do her best to attack with as much strength as she could muster. She would not let her team down, she would not let their blood be on her hands, she would win this even if it meant giving her own life, but she had a deal to keep she wanted to know what Beuce meant, but for that she had to live. Karina took a deep breath and dropped her hand off her stomach. She stepped off her glider and summoned her keyblade to her hand. "Okay, I'm ready." She said as she gulped slightly preparing her mind for what was to come now. She was doing her best to ignore the pain and keep moving, waiting for her time to do something. She gained MP from Kel and considered using it to cure herself, but she wasn't going to be in the heart of battle and taking all the hits, Beuce was. She had to save the mp to support her comrades even if she didn't like it. As long as she avoided being hit she should be fine. Or that was the theory. She didn't know if exhaust could take her out of the picture if not her injuries but she wouldn't let it if she had anything to say about it. As Beuce had done his part it was time for Karina to step in and do hers. There where two limbs that where the most vulnerable at the time and she had to work on damaging them and getting out before she could take more damage. Running in She started slashing the leg of the behemoth first before she went for it's arm. Pain coursed through her body as she attacked but Karina didn't care. Having done her part she had to run seeing as the behemoth was now eyeing her. Quickly she turned to Beuce casting cure on him to make sure he could make it through the next round. She knew it wasn't her part to support but Stratos but she had to do something more than she was doing. She couldn't stand the thought of someone possibly dieing, the guilt would be too much for her to handle. Words: 619 Exp: 30 Total: 2580 Spoiler: North Side List Spectrum the Elemoth: 158/600
Robyn snatched her devices back. She placed each of her cellphones in their respective cases that where attached to her belt on her hip. Her tablet however remained in her hand. She folded over the cover on it in order to protect the screen but she had no place to carry it besides her hand, it was far to big to attach to her belt or put in a pocket. It was rare the Robyn carried a bag of any sort to even put in in that. Holding her tablet close by her side as she followed Quinn. He had pretty much given her a warning not to hack anything once they left but Robyn didn't really listen. Honestly she thought of Quinn as too nice to ever fire her for something like that after all he hadn't yet. She followed him to the car and placed her tablet on her lap. Robyn now remained silent, she was still slightly pissed off at the police chief. Controlling her temper was never Robyn's strong suite, it was almost a good thing that she never carried a weapon around with her. The only time she was armed was when Quinn handed her a weapon for self defense when she ended up having to follow him into some not so safe situations, which had happened a few times. After all she followed him around most of the time when he wasn't on a mission and from time to time things would come up, it was just how it worked. Arriving at their destination Robyn stepped out of the car slightly behind Quinn following him closer to Mila. Robyn saw Quinn disarm himself, a good move considering she had told the police that they didn't want them doing anything to scare Mila off. Immediately approaching armed would counter act that entire demand. Robyn simply stood there, she had no weapons to put down to show she meant no harm, all she had where her different electronics and she was not about to lay them down on the filthy ground. Robyn eyed her former classmate, Mila, something seemed different about her, but Robyn couldn't tell what, almost more fear than before. Mila was timid but not fearful, just what had happened to her? "You do?" Mila said with some hope in her voice. She didn't know where to go with that just yet though. She would like to explain more, but here wasn't the place. She could give him a meeting place but if he betrayed her than she would be in some trouble possibly. It depended who he reported it to. The local police she was confident that she could handle, but special forces, depending how many they sent would be a problem. She didn't graduate anywhere near top of her class so she wouldn't imagine they would put much effort into taking her down, but she had proved that she was someone to worry about with just being able to return here. Mila opened her mouth to speak but before any words where spoken Mila heard her name. Looking over she saw two familiar faces, the lieutenant general and his assistant, someone she had been in the same school with for a couple years. Quinn had put his gun on the ground like he meant her no harm, but she wasn't that dumb, even without a weapon she knew he was good at close quarters combat. Mila took a couple steps back so Leon was just in front of her. By no means was she trying to use him as a meat shield, if it came down to it she would fight the general, but she knew it was less likely that the general would make a move it a civilian could be hurt in it. "I am sure you know damn well what is going on. The slave trade run by your own army. Taking people straight out of school and selling them and all their secrets. You and all the special forces are corrupt, so don't act stupid with me." Her words where quiet but harsh. Mila believed that every one that was higher up in the ranks knew of what was going on and Quinn was just acting dumb so he could get close to her. It wasn't going to happen. Mila was not so dumb, she was well trained but by the academy and with self training. Although until Quinn actually made a move Mila would hold her ground. She wanted people to hear her and hopefully believe what she was saying.
Karina circled around in the air dodging attack after attack by the behemoth, even once he nearly grabbed them out of the air, that one took some maneuvering to get out of. Karina was unsure and getting annoyed with Stratos not doing anything, that was until she realized why. She was such an idiot, of course he wasn't doing anything he had no mp, that was why both of them where running around in such rough shape. Neither of them had the mp to use what little magic they had, and that was a dangerous thing. They couldn't keep ranged without it and they couldn't heal either. This was bad. But despite all this Stratos had come up with a way to attack from afar. He was sending his keyglider at it as a weapon. Well that worked. Keeping focused on the behemoth she saw him summon a giant.... water balloon? It split into eight and when Stratos hit one with his glider it exploded. Clearly they shouldn't go near those things. Karina continued to circle around giving Stratos every opportunity to attack that she could without getting hit too much herself. Keeping the glider stable was certainly a task, but an achievable one. It wasn't the most smooth ride but it was good enough that Stratos could stay on. As they flew around and fight Karina's attention was caught by Kel attempting to attack the behemoth. He didn't seem to be getting very far with it though. Eventually Kel just walked off it's head for some reason and was met with an uppercut that sent him high in the air. "Well guess we should save him." Karina said with a sigh. She aimed her glider up as she flew to rescue Kel before he plummeted to the ground. She had caught him with very little problem but now the glider was harder to maneuver with the extra weight. She would make it work though, whatever it took to take out this behemoth. As they floated high above the behemoth, the creature seemed to be coming up with ideas on how it would hurt them next. An oh so familiar attack started. One used by the angelic behemoth quite a few times and by this one once. From seemingly no where bolts of light came raining down on them. Being so high up the spacing between the beams where no where near as wide as it normally was. Karina was having trouble dodging them all, grunting with each one that hit her. As the rain of light ended the attacks from the behemoth certainly did not. A purple aura surrounded her glider pulling them down. With this many people and that strong magic Karina was having trouble counteracting the magic. Karina could only thing of one thing to do, though it seemed like a dangerous bad chose. Setting her glider so it would continue trying to fly up at full force so it would at least slow the fall, Karina jumped from it and out of the area affected by the gravity magic. She flew down at the behemoth preparing to attack with her fists. Once close enough she started a splatter combo on the nearest body part, the horn. Karina got only half way though her combo to look back and see the glider was losing power and picking up speed about to crash into the ground. "Gravity!" Karina shouted as she attempted to cast the spell in order to counteract the behemoths, lucky for her she did, just barely though. While she was doing that however the behemoth was not going to go easy on her. A dark firaga came from it's torso made of darkness and hit her at point blank range sending her flying. Hitting the ground Karina clenched her stomach but forced herself to her feet once more. She summoned her glider to her in order to make it easier to go get her comrades. She flew the best that she could to the spot that they where in and caught them on her glider. She lowered them to the ground. "I can only take one on my glider, you two decide." Karina said between heavy breaths. She still held her stomach but she was operational, and by that she meant she could still barely fight but would push herself to do it no matter what. Cierra jumped and turned at the sound of the gun shooting at in the air. A face that she had seen a couple times before during her time in jail at the human district. Why he was wondering around the jail at that time was a mystery. Either way the face wasn't a pleasant one, but Cierra didn't let that show. She simply stood slightly behind Orpheus just as she had been doing most of the time and simply listened to everything that was going on. Only one thing the entire conversation however caught her attention. There was mention of one of his men entering the human district and killing a bunch of humans. There was no doubt about it, that was Sven. They had captured him, something that Cierra didn't see likely happening, but apparently it did. The Chief was offering a hostage exchange for him. Cierra's heart leaped slightly with the prospect that Sven might be returned safe. She was loyal to Orpheus, staying by his side but that didn't mean she didn't miss Sven. For the past year she had barely left his side and wished him back there as soon as possible. Orpheus however suggested a counter proposal. It was fair enough but to Cierra Sven was everything and the thought that the Chief might not take the proposal and Sven might not be returned didn't sit well with her. Sure she trusted Orpheus but she couldn't help but have some doubts. Even with all this in her mind Cierra remained silent not saying anything about the situation at hand. Her face showed little to no emotion on it. She didn't want to let anyone see what she was thinking, not Orpheus, not the chief.
