"Yeah," Kairi giggled. But then she pointed something out. "But apparently they don't." She remembered how the two dragged their feet as they left the room, and then Roxas made one last attempt with the puppy-eyes. As cute as that was, it obviously didn't work.

Kairi's smile grew. "They were definitely desperate for them," she agreed. The boys had looked in all the cabinets and cupboards, and Roxas was even willing to check Namine's room. That was extreme for some brownies.

Kairi nodded. Luckily they never got into too much trouble; that would make their goofy behavior dwindle, thus creating less amusement. Of course, she was sure if that ever did happen, the boys would bounce back eventually. They always did.

Kairi felt her small smile grow. "Especially around each other," she added in agreement. The last hour or so was a very good example. Whenever Sora and Roxas were around each other, they always did something entertaining for Kairi and Namine. Not that she minded; it was awfully fun.
Well hmm...
"It's normal to have problems every once in a while," Kairi said, both to herself and to Namine. She kept forgetting that, but she guessed that was common. Whenever the problems actually occurred, it hurt inside, but everybody went throught it eventually. And problems could be solved; all that was needed was faith.
I wouldn't know what to do with the guys, though. =/
Kairi looked up at Namine, smiling weakly. "You and Roxas are the same way," she pointed out softly. It was ironic, since Roxas and Namine were part of Sora and Kairi. But then again, it was kind of expected. They were different in some ways, but similar in others, much like their relationships.
Mhm. I'm afraid this is going to turn sad. =/
Kairi had been so worried about him, and inside, she still was. Sora could still be goofy; today clearly showed that. But there was just something she felt was missing from him, and she wasn't sure what it was. She didn't want to ask, knowing that the conversation would either take a turn for the worst or move to the mission, which wasn't really a difference. Kairi promised not to speak of the mission, and was afraid to ask how Riku was doing because of that oath. She was curious as to how he was holding up as well, after the last four months.

"It was hard to think about him, you know?" Kairi said, her eyes leaving Namine and finding her jeans again. "It hurt to." Because he was gone, and I didn't know when or if he would be back. Waiting a year had been hard for her, even if she had forgotten Sora for a while. But she didn't like to think about that either. Every time he went away, it was difficult for her, but she managed to push through every time.
Yeah. xD This will be the first time in a while. We never really eat together.
