Roxas sighed softly, trying to calm himself down. Maybe he was being too harsh, taking his frustration with cooking, again, out on Sora. He turned back to his vegetables, picking up the knife. He started chopping the vegetables, the sound of the knife meeting the cutting board louder than before due to his frustrations.
Haha. It really is. =)
Roxas glanced at the vegetables that were half-cut, but only for a second. His gaze darted back to Sora. "Well, I would be done with the vegetables and the bread wouldn't be burnt if you didn't complain about your job," he said, glancing at the bread again. "Which, I'll point out again, was watching bread."
xD This is going well. x3
Roxas groaned and ran his hand through his hair, rolling his eyes. His hand hit his leg when it fell from his head, the boy glaring at Sora. "I give you one task. One!" he said. "And it was watching bread." Kairi felt a smile on her lips at the amusement of this scene, even if she did feel a little bad for Sora. She could already smell the smoke, and from a distance, the bread didn't look that appetizing. Oops.
Lucky. xD It's annoying.
Roxas turned his head to look in Sora's direction, and his eyes instantly widened, the boy pushing himself from the counter as his arms fell to his sides. "Sora!" he cried, scolding his best friend. Was the bread ruined now?
It's like, stuck in my head and won't get out. xP
"Eight minutes," Roxas answered. "Why?" He didn't look up from the floor, too busy thinking about if the brownies were really worth going through this. Yeah, last time cooking dinner had been done willingly, but he felt forced into it this time. It felt like the time at Kairi's all over again. Roxas then wondered if cleaning the basement was less harsh than this.
It's sung by a woman, I believe. And it's from the 80s. "It's like thunder, lightning, the feeling is frightening... You better knock, knock,...
"Right," Roxas said, his voice holding sarcasm. He looked away then, returning his sight to the floor. He wasn't sure what to even cook. And if he did have something for Sora to do, he would tell him. But he really couldn't think of anything. What if Namine didn't want the same dinner again?
You know that song?
Roxas lifted his eyes to Sora, giving him a look. "Dude, I'm wearing an apron for them," he said. He then shook his head, exhaling a breath. "Namine better be thankful for this." Even if the dinner didn't come out right, he was risking his pride for this.
I just got "Knock On Wood" stuck in my head from your thunder and lightning. xDD Haha.
Roxas frowned and leaned back against the counter, crossing his arms. "The girls want to torture us," he answered, staring at the floor. He was wearing an apron, chopping vegetables. Seriously?
But rain is so calming. :3
Roxas sighed, bringing a hand to his hair. "What do you want to do?" he asked. "All I did last time was make spaghetti and bake garlic bread. This...salad thing is new." He motioned at the items on the counter next to him, his wording showing how much he lacked in cooking. "You have another idea?" Kairi knew there was a smile on her face, but it couldn't be seen due to her hand covering it. She had to bite her lip to prevent laughter from leaving her. Roxas really wasn't a chef, was he?
Haha. xD ...I love thunderstorms. :3
"Well what else is there to do?" Roxas countered, giving Sora the same look he was receiving. It really was like looking in a mirror, but that wasn't the point. The thing was, Sora was complaining and Roxas was trying not to mess up. The two combined was not good.
...Should've figured. xP
